You and your guests will definitely enjoy the quiet (local traffic only), forest-setting of this single story 3bdrm 2bth cabin with 2 car garage built in 1995 and located in the heart of resort community of Tahoe-Donner just off Highway 80. This cabin is a perfect getaway for your next ski vacation or spring, summer, fall time activities. It is fully furnished with, slate entrance, carpet, hardwood floor, a spacious kitchen and dining area with large great room with wood stove and vaulted ceilings throughout.
Looking out from great room and master bedroom you have spectacular wilderness views. Enjoy those relaxing summer evenings on secluded redwood deck...two bedrooms with king size beds, one bedroom with queen size bed, sofa bed, queen size air bed and to portable cribs. New lazy-boy recliners and new dinning room table for 8 and new bar stools. New ceiling fans in all rooms, new garage door opener with battery back up.

Perfect place for a girls weekend - would be also be great for family with small children
The cabin is perfectly comfortable and has everything you’d need for a long weekend stay. We didn’t cook at all on our moms weekend (lots of good restaurants in Truckee!) but the kitchen seemed to be equipped with anything you’d need. I really appreciated the wood stacked neatly in the garage and we enjoyed sipping coffee in the morning by the fire. Location within TD is very convenient. Driveway was not too tricky to navigate, even with some ice/snow. I made a mental note that it would be a perfect place to return to with my young children because it’s a very family friendly cabin and has a cabinet of kids toys/games! Would definitely look into staying here again.

A Family Christmas Away
A wonderful property that felt like a home away from home; perfect for our first ever away family Christmas. Great location, the host was gracious and prompt with all communications. We did experience a challenge with a smoke alarm like sound; but this is an easy fix and the host worked with us to eliminate it.

Great cabin
My family of four truly enjoyed our weekend stay. The cabin has plenty of space, is well appointed and offers all the comforts of home away from home. There are televisions in all the bedrooms and great room with good app access. We enjoyed time together by the fireplace and hope to be back.

Tahoe Thanksgiving
This cabin was perfect for our week in Tahoe. We were spending the holiday with family who also have a cabin in Donner (walkable). The kitchen was well equipped for our contribution to the feast. The wood stove was a bonus, too. Beautiful surroundings and we even spotted some wildlife. Highly recommended!!

Perfeft cabin for a weekend getaway. pics posted on listing do not do it justice as upon arrival we noticed many upgrades to the kitchen, dining room table & bathrooms. views from every window. Host is extremely accommodating and responsive. Would stay again.

Comfortable Stay
Cozy rental with a lot of amenities. Comfortable furniture, nice entertainment center. Close to town and a lot of activities. The door lock was a little tricky to open sometimes and I didn't figure out how to get the hot water going but it was summer so wasn't too bad. I would still recommend.

House for older people
We were looking for a house that was handicap accessible and it was. It had only one step and a grab bar in the bathroom. Decor was for their age bracket as well. Nice home and well equipped. The only reason I gave it 3 stars for check in is we had a hard time getting the key into box or to open front door and during our stay we had trouble getting the garage door to stay down. We called and they told us to just hold the garage door button down until it closed. That did work.

Our family of 3 plus dog had a wonderful stay at this cute, cozy cabin, well stocked with everything we needed and very closed to Tahoe Donner Cross Country ski area. We were delighted to find a cabin that allows dogs as our Labradoodle loves romping in the snow. The location was ideal for cross country skiing - just 5 mins. over to the ski area. The house is well stocked, everything we needed for cooking there. Dennis was quick to respond when we encountered an issue with the garage door. Great spot -- can't wait to return!

Cozy nice cabin
This was our second time staying this cabin for skiing. As soon as we stepped in the house, we noticed the kitchen and bathroom countertops have been upgraded. They are granite, not tiles. (It’s not mentioned on the web) They are absolutely beautiful, and easy to clean. The bathroom countertops have a lot of space to put items on which my teenage girls loved it. There were no ziplock bags, but they have sandwich bags. My girls wanted air fresheners in the bathrooms, but they were not necessary. Overall, we had a wonderful family time. The owners are great! They response fast and very easy to communicate with. We’ll stay here again.

Ski week fun!
House was nicer than pictures online. Very cozy. Everything you needed was there in the house. Firewood was available, sleds and snow shoes to use. The house was in a great location for going to the Donner ski facilities. The recreation center had game room and heated pool and great hot tubs! We had a blast! Will be back to check out the Summer months.

Holiday magic
No complaints. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pantry items and good pots and pans for making daily dinners. Bedding was so comfortable and warm. Heating worked wonderfully in all the rooms. We had a great time and would definitely come back.
