Du kommer att känna dig som hemma hemifrån i den här vackra, stora och stiliga två sovrummet, en komplett badrumslägenhet med separat vardagsrum / TV-rum och formellt vardagsrum / matsal med en vedspis, som ligger 5 minuters promenad från huvudgondolen till skidbackarna och 3 minuter från en världsklass championship golfbana. Lägenheten ligger i hjärtat av centrala Crans, mittemot en livsmedelsbutik, kaviarhuset, på gatan från Louis Vuiton och Hermes, biografen och några av de bästa shopping, barer, restauranger, livsmedelsbutiker i hela Schweiz. Alperna kan njutas från alla fönster. Rymliga balkonger finns utanför varje rum där man kan sitta och äta utomhus under de varmare månaderna.

Denna välutrustade lägenhet kan bekvämt sova upp till 6 vuxna men är perfekt för 4 och ännu bättre för en romantisk semester för 2! Det finns en queen size-säng i varje sovrum och en queen size-bäddsoffa i separat loungen / tv-rum. Den har ett formellt vardagsrum med öppen spis och matsal samt en frukostkrog för två i köket.

OM CRANS-MONTANA
Crans-Montana är en av Schweiz största, världsberömda skidorter, där den soligaste platån i Alperna ligger söderut över Rhône-dalen med en spektakulär utsikt över några av de vackraste toppar i Alperna, som Matterhorn och Mont Blanc. Crans-Montana erbjuder ett brett utbud av aktiviteter året runt. Tillsammans med Verbier och St Moritz är det också en av de snyggaste, med vad det lokala turistkontoret här tycker om att kalla "den finaste shoppen i Alperna". Anläggningen består faktiskt av tre byar, Crans-sur-Sierre, Montana och ut på en lem, Aminona; agglomerationen sprawls för mer än 2km mellan Crans, i väster och Montana, i öster. Skidåkning tar andra platsen för vinrundan och matsalen som genomförs av fashionabla aficionados av Crans-Montanas välbärgade sociala liv - även om orten har fördelen att få tillgång till året runt på Plaine Morte-glaciären, upp över 3000m. Hela skidområdet omfattar totalt 30 liftar och över 140 km spår. Särskilt populära är de breda carvinglederna och dalnedstigningen nerför Piste Nationale, som vid 12 km är den längsta i regionen. Skidåkning är platsen mest känd för att vara värd för European Masters golf turneringen varje september. Andra än för British Open för prestige och toppnamn, Crans natursköna kurs - "överlägset världens mest spektakulära turneringsplats" enligt Greg Norman - redesignades 1999 av Seve Ballesteros, och nu skryter fiendishly complex upturned-saucer greens , vilket ledde en frustrerad spelare att beskriva att spela en runda som "att ha arton tänder dragit en efter en".

Crans-Montana är ungefär två timmar från Genève eller Milanos internationella flygplatser och kan nås med tåg och sedan med buss eller taxi från närmaste tågstation i Sierre. Bussen från Sierre stannar några steg från lägenheten.

Perfect spot to enjoy Crans-Montana

We loved staying here in the heart of Crans-Montana. Easy walking to restaurants, cafes, shops and the one local movie theater as well as the gondola up the mountain and funicular down. Host was very responsive and provided very clear instructions about everything and great recommendations for all kinds of activities. We will aim to stay here again when we return.

Perfect in every way

This lovely 2-bedroom apartment is perfectly located in Crans, close to shops and restaurants and with easy access to the slopes. It feels like a cozy retreat in a classy village. La Residence is ultra-clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are beautifully tiled, the beds and bedding are wonderful, and the living room fireplace makes an already welcoming space that much more romantic! Everything is as described, but even better.

The perfect address in Crans!

We had the good fortune to rent Philippe's apartment for the Christmas holiday. We travelled with our two teenage kids - so 4 people in total. My 6'2" tall 16 yr. old slept on the pull out sofa in the TV room and never complained - rare for a teenager, for sure. The apartment is well appointed with everything you could need. Lovely linens, ample towels and a welcome pack of toiletries after a long trip from the US - all were so thoughtful. The kitchen was well equipped - everything there for a meal or just to have snacks and drinks. We didn't cook much - so much good food in Crans - but we loved having the kitchen so well stocked for our use. We enjoyed the fireplace, the cozy living room and we loved how thoughtful everything was in the apartment. Our most favorite part was the location. Not only was the people watching excellent from the front windows, but we walked everywhere: the gondola, the patisserie, the grocery store, the pharmacy, restaurants and night life. We really began to feel like we knew our way around and with such a central location - we felt a little less like a tourist! Philippe's excellent recommendations help with all of that - since he grew up in Crans, we really felt like we had the inside scoop on everything in Crans-Montana. We are already planning our return trip.

Ottimo appartamento ampio e ben arredato, situato in posizione strategica in pieno centro a Crans con tripla esposizione su Rue du Pas-de-l'Ours, Rue Centrale e la terrazza del soggiorno rivolta a sud su parking interno. POSITIVO: Appartamento ampio e ben arredato Posizione (in centro città, 5 min cammino da impianti di risalita di Crans-sur-Sierre (télécabine) e dal campo da Golf, di fronte alla COOP per fare la spesa) Pulizia 2 belle camere matrimoniali Cucina completa di tutto WIFI incluso Non abbiamo avuto problemi con l’insonorizzazione nonostante l’appartamento si trovi in un centro molto trafficato per le festività di fine anno. NEGATIVO: Per l’appartamento niente da segnalare di negativo. Probabilmente più di 4 adulti sentirebbero la mancanza di 1 bagno in più, noi abbiamo soggiornato 2 adulti + 1 bambina quindi l’appartamento era fin troppo grande. Unica nota da segnalare è che lo stabile non è di recente costruzione. Dall'entrata principale dell'edificio è possibile accedere direttamente al Café Bar 1900 (che è un ottimo bar/sala da Tè) solo che nel sotterraneo, oltre alle cantine/accesso ai garage, sono presenti anche i bagni del bar.

Nice spacious and well furnished apartment

Nice spacious and well furnished apartment, strategically located in the heart of Crans with triple exposure on Rue du Pas-de-l'Ours, Rue Centrale and living room terrace facing south on internal parking. PRO: Large and well furnished apartment Location (downtown Crans, 5 min walking from Crans-sur-Sierre télécabine and Golf Course) well cleaned 2 beautiful double rooms A complete kitchen WIFI included We did not have any problems with the soundproofing even though the apartment is located over a crowded center for the end of Year holidays. CONS: Regarding the apartment nothing negative to report. Probably more than 4 adults would miss 1 extra bathroom; we stayed 2 adults + 1 child so the apartment was even too big. The only consideration is that the building is not newly built and some details are a little dated. From building entrance you can directly access the Café Bar 1900 (nice place where to eat and drink) but in the basement, in addition to the cellars / access to the garages, are also located the bathrooms of the bar.

Lovely warming and well equipped centrally located apartment

An absolutely lovely flat, well equipped and clean in a fabulous central location for both eating out and obligatory shopping as well as skiing. We had wonderful snow which brought out all aspects of the flat and Crans although it also meant we got snow ploughing at night and early morning.

Great

The location of the apartment is in downtown of Cranes, perfect to ealk to any of the restaurants, bars or shops. Right on the other part of the street is a COOP where you can buy food and all the other things wich are needed. The apartment is well equiped and nothing is missing. The comunication with the owner works perfect. We can only recommend this location.

Nice apartment in the center of Crans

Nice apartment in the center of Crans. Not a new apartment in terms of the building itself but with all the comfort. What pleased me is that you can feel the typical atmosphere of this family place, with golf cups on the wall, books with children annotations, the fireplace, noble decorations and pieces of furniture, etc. A direct access to the pub downstairs is a plus. Our family liked the place and we relaxed directly. 10 min walk from the ski lifts. On the improvement side, the old window frames don't protect very well from the noise (nightly snowplow jobs). Crans golf - great place

We went for a 4 day trip for the European Golf. The apartment is brilliantly situated, right at the heart of Crans near to the course and public transport. The apartment itself was perfect for 4 people and was very tidy, classy and had plenty of room. We had a great time and Crans was a great lively place during the golf week. Highly recommended

A great apartment in a great location in the centre of Crans

I stayed here with my wife plus another couple at the end of the ski season to celebrate a friends 50th birthday, and even though we had high expectations, we were not disappointed. The apartment was decorated in a mix of traditional and modern, and was very inviting. The bedrooms were spacious, and felt very plush, and there was plenty of wardrobe space. The lounge/dining area was large enough for the 4 of us not to feel cramped, and even though we didn't use it, with the fireplace lit it would make it feel very cosy on a cold winter's night. The location of the apartment is perfect for skiers, walkers or just sightseers since it is right in the centre of town, with a bank, supermarket, restaurants and bars all within 100m walk, and the main ski-lift only 5 mins walk away. I wouldn't hesitate to chose this apartment to stay in again next time we are in Crans-Montana.

Ski home away from home !

We had a great time in Philippe's family apartment. Everything was spotless and the location is super convenient to skiing, restaurants, and shops. We didn't do any cooking, but appreciated the coffee capsules and the spaciousness of not being cooped up in a single hotel room. If we return to Crans we will definitely rent Philippe's place again.

Absolutely Wonderful

The apartment completely met all our needs as a family of five. It was exactly as advertised. There was plenty of room for all of us, the apartment was immaculate, fully furnished with all the amenities (WIFI, dishwasher, washer, cable TV, fireplace, etc) needed to make our stay comfortable, and the location was superb. We were able to walk to the ski lifts and the grocery store is across the street! Philippe was extremely helpful in ensuring that our check-in/out process was super smooth. Not only would I recommend this property to others, I will look to return myself.

A week in Crans

The apartment in Crans was in the centre of town which was very handy as we parked the car in a nearby parking station and did not need to go back to it until we left. The ski lifts are walking distance from the apartment so it was very easy to manage with 2 adults and 3 older children getting to and from the ski slopes. There are plenty of shops in the very close proximity which have relatively long opening hours (even on Christmas day for some) so this made it an easy place to stay. There are also other attractions in the town when you don't feel like skiing you can always explore the area on foot. The apartment is clean and well maintained and the owner was very helpful with instructions so there were no hassles in either renting or getting into the apartment. We would recommend it to friends and relatives.

la residence appartment

The apartment was perfect. Phillipe was wonderful and very helpful. We even had a surprise of a local wine bottle. I loved the fact that the TV room was separated from the living area so the grown ups could have a real conversation!. The bedrooms area was separated too with a door so it was quiet. Great location. If I have to say something to improve, it will be just the dust in the curtains, but it didn't bother me. I will not recommended for handicap people since you have to go 4 steps ups to the elevator. Other than that it is perfect for everyone! My boys 12 and 10 years old loved it too.

Fantastic vacation!

Everything about our stay in Crans-Montana was wonderful. I felt like we had our own personal guide to Crans in the owner. Philippe guided us with helpful emails and suggestions from where to eat to how to get from the airport to the train and to the final destination of Crans. LOOK NO FARTHER for a destination that meets the requirements of fun for all. The apartment is clean, warm, and cozy, very comfortable for 4 adults and 2 children. You will find it a short walk to the beginner ski hill for the children and even shorter walk to the main lift for wonderful alpine skiing. Everything that is written about the area is true. The mountain was exciting to ski, the food so delicious, and the scenery is breathtaking. We took one day trip to visit Zermatt, easy to do from this centrally located property. I highly recommend this rental - I hope to be back again.

Loved the location of the apartment and the area!

We had such a wonderful time at your lovely apartment in Crans-Montana. It was so comfortable and well-equipped. We also loved the location and the area. Plaine Morte was probably the highlight of our week. I'll be sure to recommend your place to anyone I know travelling to Switzerland.

Our stay in the apartment...

Our stay in the apartment was fantastic.The location is superb. You can walk or catch a bus to wherever you want to go.The balcony at the apartment is super. We had all of our breakfasts out there and then also used it throughout the day. The best croissants are available right across the street. What a treat!

We spend two fantastic we...

We spend two fantastic weeks here and loved every minutes of it! We particularly enjoyed sitting on the sunny balcony outside of the living room to enjoy quiet dinners and breakfasts. It is well appointed and convenient, super clean and well maintained. Nice, caring neighbors on the floor above. We will definitely be back and stay here on our next trip to Crans.

The condominium was very ...

I was born and raised in Crans-Montana. I came to the USA in 1984 to attend university and later obtained my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I currently am the Executive Director of Adolescent Counseling Services, a non-profit Organization providing counseling services to youth who could not otherwise afford it on the San Francisco Bay Peninsula.
I inherited the apartment from my parents. I proudly consider this place my home in Switzerland. I visit Crans with my spouse many times a year. To this, our home away from home, we welcome caring individuals and friends who will appreciate the comfort and convenience of this special place and the beauty of its surrounding nature.
