Great Location

Stay right on the beach. Drag your beach chair right down to the shore. Walk out the back door right into the sand. Watch the sunset from your patio. Unit was clean and tidy. Remodeled. It was in good condition. Beach equipment was sparse and the chairs and mats need to be replaced. Owner did not respond to our concerns about this until after we checked out 4 days later. That was a little disappointing. Even with the junk beach furniture I would go back again.

mediocre experience

Great location, very messy outside trash and litter everywhere, around the side of the house looks like a junk yard, not very well kept. House also needs serious maintenance. A few hours of TLC outside could make a difference, clearly whomever owns this place does not care. No attention is being given to cleanliness and small details.

We love this area!

We have known and loved this part of Florida, visiting in the Winter time for 35-plus years. We feel this is the best way for us to get away from northern snows and relax in an true Old Florida atmosphere. No glitz or glamour, just a gorgeous sunny beach, wildlife, starry skies at night, great seafood in numerous local restaurants, and many conveniences nearby. This was a perfect cottage for the two of us to relax in, and the proximity to the beach is what makes it worth every penny. We hope to return! Thank you!

Incredible Casey Key location!

So glad to have found this property on Casey Key, right on the beach with incredible sunset views. The host was gracious and helpful and the property had everything we needed, including sharks teeth on the beach. We hope to come back.

Small, cozy 1 bedroom cottage with an amazing view of the Gulf of Mexico. A short walk from the backporch to a beautiful and secluded part of Nokomis Beach. Can't wait to return to this little gem.

Peaceful privacy great host

This was our 2nd stay here and right after hurricane Deby so water was dark brown but there is no control over that. Cottage clean, spacious , and very private with long board walk to shore. We left behind pair of sunglasses and host sent them back promptly with shopping paid. Thanks to Host Andrew!

Was everything and more. Better than pictures. Check in was easy. Everything worked great. TV, WI-FI, dishwasher, Washer& Dryer. A lot of kitchen Accessories, could use a cookie sheet. Plenty of beach towels & chairs. BBQ grill worked great! Also outside shower to rinse off the sand. Comfortable bed. And plenty of extra blankets. Private patio, and wonderful views of sunsets. Not far to walk to beach. We loved staying here & talked about booking in the future. Thanks for such a wonderful time my husband and I Had. 👍 Big Thumbs up!

Disastrous vacation

Arriving at the property like to find out, there was no electricity. It was 90°. I was asked to go outside and trip the circuit breaker, After doing that, it’s sparked on fire and I was almost electrocuted. Waited over five hours, No one came to check and see anything or fix anything. I was told by the host that I would get a full refund. I’ve been dealing with the host and VRBO for over two weeks and I still have not gotten the total refund. I’ve gotten three payments and they still owe me money. I’m extremely disappointed because I had stayed at this property one other time and I was very happy with everything and that’s why I was returning. The amount of time that I have had to waste with Vrbo on the phone and with emails has been extremely disappointing. Well, I’ve been told yes, you will get a full refund… That still hasn’t happened!

Beach front gem

Best bang for buck ever. I dont think you will ever find a better view for the money. Beach is fabulous, sand is good but not as perfect as main attraction beach down the road (Siesta Key). House is small but perfect for 2 or even 4 (tight). Everything you need (beach towels, beach chairs, BBQ, outdoor dining set with umbrella, everything you could possibly need to cook on vacay, great parking, awesome walkway steps to private beach, 2 outdoor showers to clean sand/salt). Wifi is excellent, nice TV with full cable (not just internet for streaming like most these days). Pull out was typical but we brought a cheap foam topper and made it very comfy. Killer large shower with excellent water pressure (super hot water). Needless to say, I highly recommend!!!!!!!!!
