Family of 7 travelling from overseas to vacation together found the property clean and as described. Location was perfect with 15 minute walk to town and train. Were able to enjoy backyard on beautiful evenings around patio table. Ideal for those that like a daily walk with river Ness straight across the road. The owner, provided good communication and very accommodating with recommendations for additional parking we required, shopping, welcoming booklet with restaurants and other suggestions. Full kitchen handy for breakfast and packed lunches. Comfortable sitting room with TV for kids after busy day of touring. Nice quiet neighborhood. Also recommend the Waterside neighborhood bar, for a pub dinner close by. Having 1 shower was a bit of a juggle for 7 but managable, extra 1/2 washroom a help. This property helped make our stay in Inverness very comfortable and enjoyable.
We traveled from Edinburgh to Isle of Skye with numerous overnight stays in between. This home was CLEAN and supplied with appropriate amenities. Nice location within distance to pubs/restaurants. Book with information regarding the house and local suggestions was helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
This house was in the perfect spot. It was right on the Ness River which is beautiful. Has a gorgeous bridge you can view and the church across the river adds for some amazing scenery. The grocery store is one block away (there were bags in the house you could use so you don't have to buy your own at the store). The house had a few left over things, like salt, some instant coffee, syrup and other things you might need to cook your meals. I appreciated we didn't have to buy new ones and could just use the leftovers. The rooms were perfect for my 2 daughters, husband and mother. Beds were ok, but we were so tired we slept well. The bathroom is newly renovated (although the shower doesn't drain well) and it was comfortable for all of us. The restaurant two doors down was a great place to eat when you don't want to cook. We were able to walk from the train station. It was perfectly situated for our stay.
The property was in a great location and was very clean and well decorated. Conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Andrew was a very good host and communication was easy.
They house is wonderful and well equipped. You find everything you need. There are so many little details that make the house special and welcoming. It is located in the centre of the city. All the sights and important things are nearby. We would book this house again. The contact was easy and very friendly.
Well kept home across river from city center. Small but well appointed bedrooms. Kitchen has everything you need. Easy on street parking. We would stay here again every time we visit inverness.
