Oceanfront: Astu rannalle kuistiltasi!

Tämä koti on yksi vain kahdesta olemassa olevasta koko rantaviivaa pitkin, joka on sekä merenranta että ympäröi Asilomarin valtionpuistoa takana. Se on todellinen "Beach House", jossa voit todella kokea valaiden katselun olohuoneen sohvalta!
Erinomainen sijainti - lyhyt kävelymatka pitkin vettä Espanjanlahteen / Pebble Beachille.
Koti on yksinkertainen, tukeva ja mukava. Vuodesta 2019 lähtien koti oli kunnostettu uusilla kylpyammeilla, uudella maalilla, uusilla laattalattialla, uudella matolla, ikkunapeitteillä, valaisimilla jne. Alakerrassa on avoin pohjaratkaisu, jossa iso olohuone, ruokasali ja keittiö virtaavat toisistaan toiseen. Edessä on suuria ikkunoita, joista on avoimet näkymät rannalle. Olohuoneessa on iso puulämmitteinen takka, mukava sohva ja nojatuolit, pelipöytä, satelliitti-TV, stereot jne. Keittiö on hyvin varusteltu, ja siinä on paljon keittiövälineitä ja -välineitä. Astiat tehdään "vanhassa koulussa", koska ei ole astianpesukonetta. Mutta koska tiskiallas on merelle päin, astianpesu on melko kivutonta!
Yläkerrassa on kolme mukavaa makuuhuonetta, joissa kaikissa on valtavat ikkunat, mukavat vuoteet ja taulutelevisio satelliittitelevisiolla. Siellä on myös yläkerros, josta on näkymät dyynille ja rannalle.
Ulkopuolella on hiekkaa sisältävä takka, joka on täydellinen nuotioihin ... tai vain istuudu yhdellä penkillä ja katsele tähtiä. Yötaivas on uskomatonta, koska ympäröivää valoa on vähän!
Kuuluisa virkistyspolku, joka kulkee Pebble Beachistä Santa Cruziin, on kadun toisella puolella. Voit kävellä Spanish Bay Resortiin (ehkä mailin päässä) maailmanluokan ruokailuun tai vaeltaa Asilomarin valtion puiston polkuja pitkin.

Family wedding

We enjoyed our stay at the house while in town for my son's wedding. The location was perfect for wedding pictures on the beach as well as relaxing in between the busy activities while we stayed. We especially enjoyed all of the windows that looked out on the coast and the warm fireplace during morning coffee. The house was very comfortable, and we would be back if the need arose.

Perfect location

Stunning location just across the road from the beach. Comfortable house, comfortable beds. Loved the family photos on the wall and the history they brought. As a person with limited mobility, it was great to be so close to the beach This was a special, relaxing vacation and we would all love to return.

Location is amazing!

We have stayed here several times over the years. A few suggestions: Window shade broken by dining room table. Several windows no longer have screens including the corner bedroom upstairs. Downstairs bathroom window no longer opens. Windex to clean downstairs windows would be helpful when needed. Instructions to operate TV’s would be helpful. I didn’t know we couldn’t get sports.

Long weekend getaway

The property location is incredible! Could not have asked for a better location and the view absolutely stunning. The home was cozy and inviting. We are already planning another trip and bringing friends so we can share this experience. I appreciated the clear communication and what not to do. Which was very minimal! Check in and check out super simple. I am thankful they allow people to share their family beach house. My husband and I could feel the good vibes/energy the minute we stepped foot in the house.

Perfect beach house

The location is on point! You have perfect ocean views from every room of the house.. and you on my cross one small street and you are on the beach! Not to mention there is a beautiful trail right in front as well. We had fun with the kids climbing rocks and playing in the sand. Inside had mostly what you need but lacked cooking basics like salt, cooking spray/oil, etc. So bring what you need for kitchen/cooking. They had plenty of plates & cups though. You may to hunt for extra blankets and clean them first as needed. Bathrooms had only soap & a bit of shampoo so bring what you may need. Other than those minor things the house is in the perfect location and we enjoyed it very much! We will be back!

Beautiful views and comfy at home feeling

I stay at this house every time i go up to Pacific grove the views are stunning. Im a family of 7 and it is homily feeling you feel like your right at home with this house. Abt a 2 min walk tops to the beach and abt 15 drive to anywhere you need to go. Properly manager is grea to work with gets back to yiu right away will be staying here again.

Location is amazing, but that's about it.

The overall cleanliness of the place is subpar, in fact I'd say it's gross. There were cobwebs on fixtures and throughout the house; kitchen utensils, dishes & cookware were very old & had food particles on them (we had to rewash everything to even feel comfortable using it); very old pots and pans where the teflon is peeling off and would end up in your food; the air return for the heating system was covered with dust & dirt that we could easily wipe off with our fingers; exterior windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while and we struggled to even see the amazing view (BTW, I sprayed them with the hose and found a mop in the garage to wipe them down. It took me 10 minutes & we could see through them clearly!) If only whoever "cleans" the place would take the time to do the same; One bedroom had something spilled and splattered on the wall that could've easily been wiped off; towel bar in the bathroom was coming out of the wall. I could go on and on. It's really too bad the people or person who owns this place is more concerned about making a buck off of the view versus having repeat renters. All of these issues wouldn't even be issues if they invested some time in keeping the place clean and a little money to keep it updated, including kitchen utensils, glassware & cookware! Get rid of all the old crap that is over flowing in all of the cabinets! I would never stay here again.

We enjoy the daily walks along the beach. Views of the ocean and scenic coastline are visible from almost every window from sunrise to sunset.

Beautiful view, plenty of room

It’s a beautiful property with the best view! The beach is just across the street! Love that!We did start with a bit of a hiccup/confusion with the property not being clean upon arrival but it was promptly taken care of and the situation made right. We would definitely stay again if in the area! Easy distance to restaurants, shops. Plenty of room!

Perfect Marathon Headquarters

This house was so cozy and the perfect place for all of us to stay over the Big Sur marathon weekend! The views were amazing to wake up to everyday and loved that we could bring my sister’s dogs with us (they LOVED walking on the beach every morning).

The Blue House

We call this gem of a beach house the “Blue House”. The location is prime, property is beautiful, clean & well stocked! We meet our friends who also bring their grandkids & we have a blast every year! It’s close to Carmel, shops in Pacific Grove & the Aquarium & other attractions like the wharf, shops & entertainment. There's a great ocean view to boot!

'When our parents bought this oceanfront corner lot 60+ years ago,they couldn't have imagined the amount of joy this property would bring to our family. When we were kids, we delighted in exploring the state park in our back yard, sliding down the sand dunes and watching the herds of deer graze around the house. We spent hours at the beach, collecting shells, playing on the rocks and coming home soaking wet with our pails full of treasures. Our friends and cousins delighted in joining us as they took turns visiting all summer long to stay and play at the Beach House.
The house is simple; built originally as a summer beach house by our lovely parents, Greek immigrants, who absolutely had to be near the seashore. It is strong and cozy and was originally filled with as many beds as possible, as my parents, with their amazing Greek hospitality, never said 'no' to any of the legions of visitors who always wanted to come and stay. Many dignitaries and celebrities have stayed there over the years, Having traded in their luxury hotel suites for a home with no dishwasher, they delighted in sitting at my mother's table for a home cooked meal while watching the whales go by and sleeping like logs to the sound of the waves crashing.
After the last full time family member moved out, we decided to open up the opportunity of a vacation rental to others besides family members and friends through VRBO. While the house is probably not the fanciest available for rent, it is comfy and inviting. It is only one of two houses existing as oceanfront with the Asilomar State Park in the back yard. The views are immense and endless from every room. Don't forget to take a moment to sit outside at night. The waves are illuminated by the moon and the stars in the sky are so abundantly visible. We hope you will have a great time and come to love this spot as we all do!'
