About this property

Lake house @ Lake Roesiger - Private beach & 1 acre of solitude

Come experience our oasis on the lake at beautiful Lake Roesiger, Washington. This lake house features a private 1 acre wooded lot with concrete floating dock, a boat house and plenty of parking, including a two vehicle carport.

The perfect getaway if you just want peace and quiet! A serene lake setting with the opportunity to go for a quiet paddle in the supplied kayak or canoe or take one or both of the SUPs out. The lake is often like glass and boating restrictions ensure that it is calm and quiet every morning and evening throughout the busy season.

After a day on the beach or water, nestle down to a warm fire with our wood burning fireplace or BBQ and enjoy an outdoor dinner on the spacious covered deck

After a few days of recharging in the peaceful lake setting, it might be a great time to explore that excitement of Seattle (1 hr), antiquing in Snohomish (20mins) or shopping in Everett (40mins) or the Seattle Premium Outlets (40mins). There is so much to do in close proximity to the lake house.

Also, hiking opportunities are rich in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. So, book a few days at the lake and use your time to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the area!

Relaxing quality time with family

Our family had a great time here over Memorial Day weekend. It rained most of the time, but we pumped up the SUPs we brought and bundled up to use them each day during the windows between rain showers. The house is well stocked with books and board games, which we enjoyed playing together & unplugged from the screens.

Lovely Lake House Getaway

We were in love with this little lake house instantly!! We had the best weather and the views from the house and the property were awesome. We loved the grassy yard and the sense of privacy. Our lab said it was a 10 paw stay. So many amenities offered, firewood and kayak/paddle boards. We didn't want to leave!! Already planning to come back!!

Perfect

This place was perfect for our 4 day family getaway! Location was awesome- quiet, with a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding forest. The sandy beach, clear water and large grassy lawn was so fun for our 3 yr old grandson and the dog to play for hours! Everything is well stocked- plenty of towels, outdoor furniture, kitchen supplies, bbq, firepit and even a kayak, canoe and paddleboards! The dryer came in handy after hours of swimming and playing in the lake. Cabin itself is well layed out with plenty of space for 6. Overall- a perfect stay and would love to return!

Beautiful and peaceful

We loved our stay at this home. The house was comfortable and well-appointed. Large windows overlooking the lake, a well-stocked kitchen, cozy beds and a half-bath in the main bedroom are just a few of the comforts we appreciated about the house. We spent most of our time enjoying the outside. The large covered deck provided a comfortable place to soak in the beauty of the lake, rain or shine. The outdoor space and amenities really allowed us to maximize our enjoyment of the lake. The owners were great and responded quickly when we had questions. We would definitely love to return.

Pretty Location

The cabin is on a beautiful lakefront location. It was very comfortable and had all the necessary items, except no TV... which was only an issue because the weather was cool and rainy and we wanted to watch a football game. There was some confusion, as we were given an incorrect internet password on the app - but we contacted the owner and he gave us the correct one. The listing said "pet friendly" and we had two small dogs. Upon checkout, we were charged an additional $50 for the dogs, which was unexpected as that was not in the original agreement. We liked the property, and if we rent it again, would do it earlier in Sept for more reliable weather.

Fun, fun, fun

Perfect location for us. Family were able to come and go as they were able. Everything we needed was there. Teenagers especially enjoyed the paddle boards. The little ones had a great sandy beach and docks to play on. Plenty of inside games. The couch on the porch was well used. We mostly barbequed and used the fire pit. Kitchen was so well stocked that we used real plates and utensils. If you need internet to work from a computer this is not going to work for you. Loved that the kids didn't need devices to be entertained. The host helped us whenever needed. The beds are comfy and the grandkids loved having bunk beds. Plenty of towels! The weather cooperated. We hope to return next summer. I think you could say a perfect getaway for our family.

Our family has owned the Lake House @ Lake Roesiger since 2011. This is our vacation getaway a short two hour drive from home in White Rock, British Columbia just across the border in Canada.

Why they chose this property

One of the largest properties on the lake on the exclusive west side of the north lake, it is rare to find a property tucked away in the bay away from the sounds of power boats and jet skis in the summer. The bay is always quiet and is a beautiful place to swim, Stand-up-paddle board or take a ride in the canoe or kayak.

Additionally, this is a great lake for fishing for Largemouth Bass or Rainbow or Kokanee trout.

What makes this property unique

The property is a short trip away from Seattle (1 hour) to the south and and the Seattle Premium Outlets or Tulalip Casino (40 mins) to the west. Nicely situated in the midst of four small towns each with their own pleasant attractions for guests:

Granite Falls - 8 miles - entry to the Mountain Loop. Excellent for hikers and cyclists. The Granite Falls IGA is the closest comprehensive grocery store and the town provides a hardware store, numerous gas stations, post office and pharmacies.

Lake Stevens - 12 miles - large lake for water sports year round, fishing, shopping (Target, Grocery Outlet, Games...etc.) and more.

Snohomish - 14 miles - Antiquing capital of Washington State, fantastic Main Street, Also home to sky diving, ballooning and more. Shopping includes Fred Meyer, Home Depot, Kohl's, Safeway, Trader Joes and more,

Monroe - 13 miles - More business oriented. Extensive commercial centers, Fred Meyer, Lowes, Walmart, Safeway. Excellent selection of restaurants of many different cultures. Monroe also hosts a hospital and state prison. :)
