HEATED/CHILLED POOL OPTION*, NEWLY REMODELED & FURNISHED INSIDE AND OUT!! NEW FOR APRIL 2019 - COMPLETELY REMODELED HUGE CHEFS KITCHEN AND ADDITIONAL 400SF OF LIVING SPACE ADDED TO THE FIRST FLOOR FAMILY ROOM. This comfortable island retreat offers open, spacious areas, incredible natural light and a tasteful island décor. Beautifully landscaped and illuminated grounds with lots of parking. A short 3 minute walk from the front door to your toes in the sand!

Large open kitchen with double ovens stocked with all the equipment you need to make a big family dinner with seating for 18. There is a cozy sitting area off the kitchen with a flat screen tv/Roku/DVD. The 2nd floor boasts a huge open area with a lounge/bar/game room which includes a pool table, DVD, Wifi, 4 large flat screen tv’s, poker table, full wet bar w/mini fridge, Golden Tee Golf Game and Pac Man assorted game console.. Pick a book to read from the library while you lounge on the deck or by the pool.

Ample outdoor living areas with a large 2nd floor deck & one open rooftop deck with panoramic views of the island. Relax by the private pool and enjoy the outdoor bar area with built in grill/sink/ice maker and full size refrigerator. Large private outdoor shower and bathroom. Just two blocks from the center of town, with multiple restaurants and a variety of shops. After dinner walk down to Ben & Jerry's for dessert!

Only 20 minutes to Historic Downtown Charleston full of charm, history and world class restaurants and shopping.

*The heating and chilling of the pool is available for a weekly fee of $400.00. It will take approx 24 hours for the pool to be heated or chilled so advance notice is required. Also please note that the heater for the pool is not designed to heat the pool during very cold winters. It is designed to heat the pool in the Spring and Fall when temperatures are mild and not as cold as Winter. The average temp in Isle of Palms in December and January is Low 30's and high 50's. The heating system will not heat the pool greater than 70 under those conditions.

GOLF AND TENNIS: Isle of Palms is home to the First Class resort of Wild Dunes with 2 great golf courses, The Links and The Harbor Course and a top 100 ranked tennis program. The Family Circle Cup is only a 15 minute drive for Isle of Palms.

Beautiful, Spacious Home

We loved our stay in IOP. Just blocks from the beach, it was very convenient. The home had plenty of space for our family having two living rooms and plenty of bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we could need for eating in. The kids and adults loved the games on the second level. Also, very convenient to restaurants. We would stay again.

Amazing stay with responsive host

The property was awesome! There were so many things to do in the house and around the area. The property is 2 min walk to beach, and 10 min walk to fun restaurants and bars. What really stood out though was John as a host. He was communicative leading up to the trip and available throughout. All in all, the property and John helped make our trip to Charleston amazing.

Family, food, fun and hurricane excitement!

The location in Isle of Palms is fabulous. Beach access in either direction. Plenty of chairs, boogie boards, and inflatables for the beach. Restaurants within walking distance. The house was perfect for our all adult family of 10. Perfect kitchen for cooking together. Dining table held us all. Multiple wine/drink refrigerators so helpful. Outdoor shower was roomy and a bathroom too. Cooking outside on the grill and outdoor kitchen was amazing. Great time… hurricane was a little scary with tornado warnings and some hail but since an unexpected bonus… all is well!

Family beach reunion

Our family is scattered around the country and this was the ideal location to gather for a week. The house was the ideal layout with large open kitchen/dining/living area, easy access to the beach, and enjoyable afternoon in the pool. It was well equipped, with fun extras like the game room, beach chairs, etc. Our host was very responsive to questions. We had a fabulous visit. Thank you!!

Love this house and everything about it. John is extremely helpful and friendly (not that we needed him for much of anything, because everything was in great shape, but still). Even a tropical storm couldn't mess things up too much. Hopefully we'll be coming back next year.

We have been to Isle of Palms 3 times in the last 4 years on our ever growing family vacation. This property was very nice. The pool area had a good amount of shady trees so you could be in full sun or shade at the pool. The outside kitchen area was great with a full refrigerator. Over all it was a great experience enhanced by the property.

Anniversary Isle of Palms

This was a great place to celebrate our 50th with the entire family. Very convenient, comfortable, roomy, and nice places for all to gather and to seclude. Easy access to local attractions/restaurants and easy short walk to beach. Really enjoyed the pool with the outdoor shower, rinse hoses and bathroom. Appreciated the supply of beach toy, beach chairs, wake boards and the wagon and tote wagon. (Please note, many of the toys are broken and we would have appreciated not having to sort thru those.) A few things that would make our stay even more enjoyable: Wished the house was supplied with more than a couple dish washer soap pods and a watered down bottle of hand washing soap at kitchen sink. We bought some. Needed kitchen wash cloths and drying towels which were brought the next morning. Used the grill twice and found the burners had hot and cold areas so I had to constantly move the food about to cook it. (Burners need attention or replacement). The electric starter does not work so needed to insert hand lighter tip thru rusted out spot in grill plates. Found the swing on the upstairs deck is too close to the house, even the gentlest motion caused the swing to hit the house. Some in our group stated that the cushions on some of the chaises around the pool were uncomfortable/worn out and dirty.

The house was as advertised. We had a wonderful stay perfect for our family with 8 adults and 5 children. Plenty of room for everyone. Short walks to the beach and town. The pool was well maintained. Management was very responsive to requests.

Great Escape

8 adults, no kids, mini get away vacation. This house was the perfect location. It was close to the beach, grocery store, golf, and the restaurants were out of this world! I think we all left a piece of our heart in IOP. Would rent this again in a heartbeat.

Home Run!

This is a fantastic property. Had eight of us total between two families for the last week of March. Rooms are all huge, beds are very comfortable. Enormous and beautiful kitchen which had every utensil you can think of. We've stayed in some prior VRBOs where you were lucky to find a spoon. This place had everything. Heated pool was a gem, and we were in it all week long. Outside temps were in the 50s and 60s all week and pool temp was nice and warm. 2nd floor patio out back was awesome, and we were out there a lot. It's a five-minute walk to downtown IOP and to the ocean. Really enjoyed this property and appreciate the communication with John who was a fantastic host. Would absolutely stay here again!

August Stay

We had an incredible family vacation in the house. The kitchen and dining area are very spacious with plenty of room for all of us to always cook and eat all together. Plenty of space for all 9 adults and three toddlers and infants. The pool was great and the beach access was super close! Lots of pool toys and beach toys and chairs for us to use also. Great neighborhood and great house! Five stars!

Wonderful Family Va-ca

The house was great, was clean with lots of different spaces for our family to have fun. The 6 kids had space were they could hang out and play while the adults were busy with other activities. The outside area was wonderful - the yard has a nice amount of sun and shade - we enjoyed lots of hours playing. Beach is an easy walk away even the two year old easily managed it. Great trip!

Home features 6 bedrooms, 2 King beds, 3 Queen beds, I double double bunk bed. There is also a queen size murphy bed in the upstairs family room, bringing the queen beds to 4. Most of the beds have memory foam toppers.
