Located 6 miles from downtown Bellingham.

Bring the whole family with lots of room for fun. Mountain biking and skiing nearby! No pets.

Rising Moon Meadows is a community that hosts events that visitors are welcome to participate in. Event details and costs are listed on our website.

We have 8 acres of meadows, gardens and a wildlife pond for your enjoyment.

Unique Getaway near Bellingham

This was a great location for a group to stay in! There were 6 of us in total, and there was plenty of room (and bathrooms, which was AWESOME). The space was exactly as pictured, and was super clean. The hot tub was awesome too! It's close to Bellingham while far enough away to feel like it was in its own world. Would definitely recommend!

Hidden gem

My family and I had a great time staying here. It's very clean and well maintained. The property is interesting, full of livestock and beautiful scenery. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again. Also, the checkout process was very simple, which was much appreciated. Thank you!

Spectacular!

Absolute gem of a place. Such a welcoming layout with everything you could ask for in a peaceful, relaxing vacation home. Being just outside of town made it easy to get around while getting away from the noise of the city. 100% have and will continue to recommend, and will definitely be booking again in the future!

Me and family stay five nights. It was wonderful the owners were great. House was beautiful would definitely go back. Great country setting, very peaceful. Would recommend highly.

The guest house was clean and large and well-kept. It was close to the main house, but we had privacy and quiet. It was close to shopping but felt like we were in the country. It was large enough for the four of us to have our own areas inside to rest. We will stay again if we are in the area!

Good place for a grouo

A rural location, but still less than twenty minutes to western washington university. Plenty of room for our family of four very well appointed and very comfortable beds. Quiet location, but still convenient. We will likely book again.

Exceeded Expectations

We had a wonderful two night stay in this spacious and clean home. The property was peaceful and relaxing and we enjoyed being out in the country. We came for a mountain bike race and did not have to drive too far to access the Galbraith trails. Highly recommend this place and hope to book again in the future!

Wonderful property

Property was centrally located, clean and well stocked with towels, bedding, personal care items as well as kitchen supplies. Great room was large and had lots of seating for us to spread out. Bedrooms were large and beds were top rate and comfortable. Bathrooms over the top. House was QUIET, grounds were clean and well groomed. We stayed 5 days

The guest house is just as described and the grounds are beautiful. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our frequent visits with Baker! Communication with Alivia and Becky was excellent. We enjoyed our mini family reunion and will definitely book the guest house the next time we come together in Bellingham. It was close to everything we wanted to do, and the perfect distance away to find time to rest and recharge! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Perfect spot for Bellingham getaway!

Stayed at the guesthouse and had a great experience. Travelled to Bellingham to take in the town and get the teenagers acquainted with the area. Both our oldest kids are moving up in the Fall! House was great, hot tub was great. We will for sure stay here again when we come to visit our college kids next year. Weather was typical PNW grey / rain this weekend which didn’t bother us much but we look forward to coming up again when the sun is out - the property looks fun to explore. Thanks for having us!

Great location. Beautiful property. Friendly.

Family trip to Bellingham just to explore. This location was just out of town, not too far. Very quiet. Clean with all the amenities we needed plus some. We got the chance to chat with one of the owners- so friendly. We walked the property and got to pet goats. We only needed 3 beds but there were lots of options. Linens and beds were 10/10. Hot tub was a huge hit- it was also clean and ready to use. 100% positive experience.

Short Family vacation

I had my 5 kiddos along with my husband for a short vacation. The house is a guest house of the large house in the picture. It was beautifully set up with super comfy beds and pillows. It was just perfect. And the grounds!! Manicured wilderness. Beautiful meadows surrounded by woods. We had lovely walks. Oh, and it's perfectly located. Close enough for plenty of little adventures up here.

Beautiful property and centrally located!

We could not have asked for a better location or place to stay! Everything that we explored was a quick drive, owners were extremely friendly and responsive, property was clean and had everything we could have ever needed. The full size kitchen and washer/dryer were super helpful. We enjoyed being able to space out in the large game room and enjoyed playing some card and board games. The kids loved running around the property and exploring. Although we only have 4 people in our family, this location could easily fit a larger group. We highly recommend this beautiful place! -Texas Travelers

Family Wedding

We came up to the area for a wedding in Lynden. My father inlaw, brother inlaw, nephew, husband, daughter, and myself. The kitchen/dinning area was definitely the gathering area. A nice warm inviting space, we were able to visit with our extended family spread out in the area. The hosts were absolutely amazing! The place was clean, spacious, and inviting. The kitchen has everything you need, and the soaking tub was fabulous! My 2 year old loved walking around the grounds and playing with the goats and dog. We will definitely be back!

Bellingham home

This was a very interesting place to stay. It is quite a drive out of town but ended up working very well for us. I had a 4 and 6 year old with me and they loved walking around the 8 acres of property the home is on. We enjoyed Baker, the dog, the two goats, the three pigs and many, many chickens that were in the penned area. The boys kicked the soccer ball around, jumped on the trampoline and explored the fields and woods. The rooms are spacious with the living room feeling a bit more like an event center than a living room. But everything was very clean and convenient with three different bathrooms. A school for 6-12 years olds is in a building adjacent to the VRBO so there were others around during the day. It is definitely an interesting place.

Best VRBO stay ever!

We came to Bellingham to look for a place to live and get a feel for the area. This house is so spacious, charming and clean! If we could find a home for sale similar to this home, we’d buy it immediately. I can’t wait to host large family outings when we do move here and I’ll rent the guest house for sure. Such a lovely home, I wish we had longer to enjoy it and walk the grounds.
