Private,Quiet, cabin,on 27 acres,w/ trails. near the Hoh Rain Forest Nat' l Park.
Hello. At this time of the corona virus outbreak. Here are some reassurances about my place.I am on the West end of Jefferson County. 65 miles from Port Angeles and 110 miles from Aberdeen. The closest town is Forks and that is 15 miles away. There is a large grocery store. I am isolated, with no super close neighbours and in the middle of 27 acres of pristine forest land. I have my own well and I have it tested every year. My crew of helpers are doing a great job of keeping the property clean and comfortable. We get lots of great comments about this. Our favorite comment..."We can't wait to come back". The decks, gazebo, huge yard ,and the wonderful trails are really fun to relax around. And so quiet too.

Cute vintage cabin in beautiful rainforest surroundings
We stayed here for spring break and communication with the host was easy, prompt and very helpful, with tips on where to hike. The cabin was as advertised and was one of the most well stocked places we’ve stayed, with everything you could need . The cabin is cozy and with 4 of us it definitely felt snug at times but the wonderful trails made for fun outdoor time
The house was exactly what we needed to have our family adventures in Olympic. It was clean and well furnished. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen and washer and dryer.Communication with the host was easy and direct. Would definitely recommend
Found this spot relaxing and rejuvenating. This spot gives a very cozy vibe, like visiting your aunt’s house as a kid. The trails are magical, well maintained and educational. I loved curling up with a book on the couch here. Hope to stay again.
What a wonderful spot! The home was well stocked for my family, plenty of games, movies and toys for my kids and lots of space to run around outside. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to make it back again someday!
We had a wonderful time tucked away in the woods. It was wonderful to be able to walk the trails on the property every morning. It was the perfect size place for 2 adults & a pup, though I think it would be a tight squeeze for too many more people. Overall wonderful place to getaway!grelocation
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Hoh cabin in the woods. Thankfully we had some much needed rain while we were there. The off season in this area is the best a little more room to breathe. We hope to visit the area again and the cabin would be the first choice.
This was a wonderful place to stay. When we drove up, my daughter said that it looked like a real life Ghibli film; she wasn’t wrong. It was cozy, quiet, and had everything we needed. Kamala was an excellent host and quick to respond to any questions. Thank you!
If you don't mind a small cabin with giant surroundings then the Hideaway will please you. This was our family's third time renting. I am always grateful that the forest and its creatures are still thriving when we come back. Kamala knows this is a special place. And, bless her for sharing it with others. If you are in love with the rainforest, then you will be at home here.
Fantastic get away. Kamala is a caretaker of this unique, serene, and grounding part of the rain forest. You'll feel taken care of with all her attention to detail and hospitality. Close to the heart of the rain forest and where the river meets the ocean. The hiking trails on the property are a wonderful introduction to the rain forest as well. Am grateful I landed at this spot for a few days.

Cozy, secluded property with its very own rainforest trails.
Absolutely loved it!
This place is the most beautiful cabin and property. Well stocked kitchen, and entertainment in the livingroom, comfortable beds, and lots to do outside and surrounding areas.
Wir waren 4 Nächte bei Kamala. Fahrzeit zum Hoh Rainforrest 40 Minuten. Kamala hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Die Hütte ist mit allem Ausgestattet und noch viel mehr.
We enjoyed great communication with our host prior to our visit, and then while there, we were amazed at the quiet. I think we heard a car some distance away, but only once. Comfortable bed, too.
The on-site trails provided a wonderful escape into a growing forest that shows the species diversity to be found in the rain forest.
Wonderful host with a unique property. We used this home as a base for exploring Olympic National Park. The home allows you to truly enjoy the area as restaurants are limited
Great property, perfect setting, very friendly owner. Kamala loves this area and is excited to share that love with her guests. We were well situated for several days of exploring, and the cabin and gazebo were the perfect spot to relax afterwards. I look forward to returning here in the future!
We love staying here. Walking the trails, enjoying the gazebo, soaking in the quiet beauty of the Hidaway. We discovered Kamala's 13 years ago. So happy we did.

We are English transplants who have fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest. The grandchildren love to come and spend time here.We love sharing the cabin with people who really appreciate the beautiful setting. We have spent years upgrading the property. Not easy with over 110 inches of rain a year! We are thrilled that our guests are returning and recommending this older cabin to their friends. I have guests who have returned every year {14} for a week every August ..They always look to see what changes were made to the property in the last year.
Why they chose this property
We come here to rest and rejuvenate and leave the city behind. Our family has owned and loved this property for over 40 years. Actually, the property has owned us! Especially the moles! Many of our English relatives have come to visit and are always amazed at the scenery.Last year's favourite memory was of my English buddies from high school sitting around the blazing campfire, late at night, drinks in hand, laughing until we cried. We wish to share this peaceful sanctuary with you.Make sure you take the time to walk the trails and pack a picnic for the beach.
What makes this property unique
Tranquility, relaxation, and seclusion. We have enjoyed watching the wildlife in the large yard. The trails are magical. Also the beach-combing,fishing and hunting is pretty good too!
