We had a lot of fun during our stay with our family. The weather wasn't the best but we made the best of it with multiple soaks in the hot tub, movies with the family, and playing board games.
Our family had a wonderful time staying in the blue yurts. The property is very clean and well organized. Our kids loved the bunk room and hot tub. The owners were great to work with as well.
The blue yurt was lovely with sweet touches that made it feel like home. They really maximized the space. Communication with the owners was spot on - just enough information to get to know the place and a warm welcome. You won't regret staying here! (P.S. The shower is bigger than it looks in the picture.)
We stayed at the yurt in early August. It was terribly hot inside and outside. Two fans but didn’t begin to make it comfortable. Zero shade outside so we just suffered in the sun. It did cool off in the evening for a pleasant time. Yurts were hot until middle of the night. Escape to the mountains until evening if going in the summer.
We had a magical summer stay at the yurt. The decor and furniture placement are charming. The scenery and hot tub under the stars were magical. Thank you so much!
We stayed here with 4 kids under 12. There was enough room for all of us and we enjoyed beautiful hiking through the Snowies. The neighbors were friendly, too!
Great spot for our family of five & 2 grandparents! Watched antelope from the hot tub & right next to a cute little town! Great hiking in the snowy mountain range too!
Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay in these 2 yurts! It was a short 10 min drive to Snowy Range, which was perfect for skiing. The yurts were clean and simple, which was just what we wanted. We soaked in the hot tub daily while we watched the snow fall. The hosts were super responsive when we had questions. We ate dinner in 2 different restaurants in Centennial, and both served delicious fare. Overall this was a wonderful plave to stay and make some happy Easter memories with our family!
Our family of 4 felt right at home in the yurts. We stayed 2 nights and left feeling rested. Easy to find and convenient location for us to call home base as we spent our days skiing at snowy range. The owners are very friendly, prompt to respond and accommodating. The little details, like movie night treats that awaited us upon arrival made it special for our kids and the hot tub was a treat after a long day of skiing. We would highly recommend this property!
This is a great little get away! If you are looking for a place that has all the bells and whistles and and all the amenities this place is not for you! If you want a unique place to escape reality, this is for you. We had 7 in here and it was a bit tight especially with only one bathroom, but that is the only downside. For us it is the “other” stuff that made this place great! There was a great gift basket and a not waiting for us. The hot tub was awesome! There was a great selection of card games to play. You are just a mile or so from a great coffee shop and restaurants. We were skiing and it was so nice to have a short drive to the snowy range. You have to check this place out, it is perfect!
Rick and Steph are amazing hosts! To no error on their part, I had forgot to get the place for one more night, they were so thoughtful to text and make sure we were ok and let us go ahead and book one more night. They make the check in and out process so easy. The yurts are a cool little place that is close to the climbing spots in the snowies! There is room to park a truck and trailer without difficulties. The best part about this place is that it has a HOT TUB after those fun riding days. This place has the mini fridge/small freezer, microwave, and a coffee press. Awesome property and even better hosts.
Stayed 4 nights in the Snowy Range Yurts. Accommodations were great in the yurt. It was super clean and comfy for a family of 5. The hot tub was great to use every night after a fun day of skiing. A++
The yurt cabins were roomy enough for a family of five. Good location close to sking, trails and centenial which has a couple of good places to eat. Outdoor hot tub nice after a long day of sking. The yurt cabins have a ski lights which have a great view of the stars at night.
This property was as advertised and then some. We had an amazing stay and loved the little touches like a popcorn bucket and assorted candies supplied on check in. The area is beautiful (actually a huge understatement) and centennial knows how to do food for sure. We ate in three different restaurants and the food was very good in all 3. We even stopped at the coffee stand on the way out of towm and again very good. Nice quiet getaway and an easy drive to watch the Wyoming cowboys wim.
We were in town for the Wyoming football game and thought we would try something different than a hotel or traditional VRBO rental. This was hands down the most fun place to stay while visiting the Laramie/Snowy Range/ Medicine Bow area. The property owners are amazing at communicating. We rent VRBOs often and it is so refreshing to deal with property owners rather than a large management company. The yurt is EXACTLY as it is pictured. Clean to perfection. The accommodations are luxurious, yet gives the feeling of being adventurous. We hiked in Medicine Bow, which is a short drive away. The hot tub and French press coffee were a real treat. We will rent this yurt again the next time we are in Wyoming!
If you are looking for the perfect yurt experience, this is it! Nestled just outside of Medicine Bow, it’s a perfect getaway place.
Very clean, the goodies for the kids were great and it was very clean!
Great place for the whole family!
The Carnahans
For our first trip to the Medicine Bow National Forest, I somehow stumbled upon the Snowy Range Yurt Cabins. I had always wanted to stay in a Yurt and, after sharing the pictures, my husband and two college age kids were quickly on board. Rick and Stephanie were great to communicate with from initial entry to check out. The Yurts are STUNNING in person and nestled in the most beautiful spot. We were all so comfortable and appreciated the extra touches - an easy to follow binder of information, a sweet card with a welcome and invitation to movie night complete with treats, and even the stickers provided for each of us. We experienced some rain during our time in the area, but laying in bed under the beautiful ceiling window listening to the rain drops was so soothing. And, the hot tub was a highlight for us all. What a gift the Snowy Range Yurts were for our family. We are so grateful!
Property lived up to the pictures, which rarely happens. Great access to drives through the snowy range of Medicine Bow. A perfect stop between Denver and Yellowstone.
We loved staying at the yurts. Perfect location for a few days of skiing at Snowy Range. Less than 10 minutes to the slopes. Stayed with wife and 5 kids and had plenty of room. The hot tub was great too, even if the snow drifts were taller than the hot tub! Would definitely recommend.
