Historic (1940's) 2 story 4000 sq ft, 5 BR (7 beds), 2.5 BA Panama House. Located in the former Naval Officers Quarters within WALKING or bike ride to Riverfront Park + a short drive to Park Circle shops & bars.

Minutes from highway, airport, and dwntwn. Centrally located to 3 beaches in the CHS area. Very private; giant oaks and plenty of space for a wonderful stay with friends and family.
The space
Hobson House is located in the historic district of North Charleston, where the Naval Officers were quartered. It is an up and coming revitalized neighborhood, surrounded by gorgeous old oak trees. Serene and private, it is a perfect gathering spot for a celebration with friends and family. The neighborhood is very quiet, and has 24 hour patrolled security. Please note the houses directly next to Hobson House are unoccupied. The Admiral's House, School House and other remodeled houses are approximately .10 mile away towards Riverfront Park.

Nice location
The host was gracious. The house is older, cute and great for families. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry/mud room could do with some updating. The water got cold after a few people took showers and something wonky was going on with the televisions for our entire stay and we were unable to watch them. Thank goodness my nephew lived around the corner and brought his television with firestick for the kiddios. The location is at first glance questionable (several dilapidated homes) but once you take a five minute walk you are waterfront and it is beautiful. The location was safe and was pretty close to alot of things to do. A perfect place to stay if the weather is nice. We agreed that we would stay here again.

Stayed for son’s wedding at thr Admirals house
Great set up for families, extended families and friends. Large beautiful living area on the second floor with 4 very comfortable bedrooms, sofas and a daybed The 5th bedroom is on the ground floor in case you have someone in your group who cannot manage steps. This place could be described as eclectic in regards to furnishings. My group thought it had a lot of character. Kitchen was more than adequate. The grounds are pretty with the trees and moss hanging, especially at night with the tree lights on The one disappointment was that the bicycles on site were non functioning, luckily we had 2 golf carts to be able to enjoy the beautiful river front park and get back and forth to the wedding venue. We did have to go downtown which was very easy from there. We also tried Coastal Brewery which was great. The Host is very accommodating and responded immediately to my few questions. Helped with delivery of flowers and golf carts. She really goes above and beyond what my experiences with hosts have been. I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a place in this area or just a nice getaway with a large group. Close proximity to the water, Park Circle and all that North Charleston has to offer makes it very appealing.

Perfect Charleston Getaway
The Hobson House was the perfect location to host my sister-in-law's bachelorette weekend. The house is so charming, and the perfect amount of space for our group of 9 girls. It is conveniently located just 15 minutes from downtown, and only 15-20 minutes from all the other locations we wanted to see during our stay. We had dinner down the street at MOMO Riverfront Park which was so lovely! I cannot recommend this house enough. 10/10!

Great Weekend Getaway
We had a wonderful time in Charleston, the bnb was perfect for a large group. There was a restaurant and waterfront park within walking distance, downtown was a 15 min Uber, and Katherine (the host) was very quick to reply to any questions I had.

Great secluded place to stay with great picture opportunities!
The house itself is very large and spacious. We had more than enough beds for everyone, with spares left over. The outside is beautiful, nice enough to take formal pictures at (which we did). It's walking distance to a pier for more picture opportunities! It's a 10-minute drive (at least) to really anything you'd need to go to, so it is nice and secluded. The house itself sits in a cul-de-sac, but none of the other houses are occupied, so it feels like you are in your own little world with your friends! It's a great time. Would definitely stay again.
