Very disappointing - undeserved disrespect, and regret instead of value
1. Ease of access important to you as for me? No elevator. Room on 3rd floor2. Floor was dirty/sticky, we cleaned it3. Wi-Fi did not work 90% of the time; was told was like that all over island. False. Had to use my paid Esim data in room4. "Towels available upon request," per Welcome Info is false. 2 of us for 2 day stay, only 1 big towel. First told we would get another, then told it was policy we had to hand 1 in to get 1, which would still leave 1! Finally given for last night after objection5. Broken bathroom/half missing towel rack (pics). Wrong sized, cheap, sliding, very loose uncomfortable toilet seat (pics). Both of us are in shape. Things not fixed as promised. Door stop in dangerous place on floor by shower (pic), one of us hurt foot, hair dryer attachments don't fit6. TV only works with certain streaming services - did not have, so no cable (as said), no local weather, etc. So, no TV(7. First night Thursday, super loud live music next to bldg, ending much later than should have been.)Other reviews nice, so what happened? Why were two highly educated, older, clean-cut professionals so disrespected, beginning with being given a sort-of maintained suite? Aberration? We felt Suites cared more about other guests, than if we received value.2 stars, not 1, because a few days before our stay, the manager, eliminated a reservation worry, while at the same time, whether she knew it or not, imparted a very valuable revelation.Treat ALL your guests with respect.
