Beautifully renovated riverhouse

Booked last minute. Host was communicative and accommodating. We loved the location and the river was peaceful. The house was nicely renovated and clean!

River Front Bliss

This place was awesome. We brought in a bunch of family for our son's Navy graduation. It's right on the river and the little community there is just so cool. They had a festival with music and food trucks on the square with all the shops the weekend we were there. It was super comfortable in the house and having the 3.5 bathrooms was clutch with so many people. I may have just given up my lake front retirement dream for a river front community like this one!

Chain pf Lakes getaway

Great Location, Description, Property

What a great location for a get-together with friends? Although it was pouring rain two of the three days the inside never felt cramped for three adults. Outfitted with a pool table and foosball table, not to mention the latest and greatest in the kitchen and bathrooms, this is a great getaway location or short-term hideaway. The host was communicative and easy to work with. Outstanding ratings, all around.

Great place on the river

We were in town for my FIL’s funeral. House was the perfect spot for our five adults. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold to enjoy the outdoor amenities. We enjoyed playing pool and foosball. Bedrooms were spacious and there were plenty of baths. Would stay again.

Beautiful place on the river

We had a great time reuniting with family. Beautiful libation on the river and close to where we needed to be. Host responded so quickly to calls and questions. Great experience.

Annual Chain Trip

We have been coming up here annually for a few years now with our group of friends to boat the chain and enjoy it more and more every time. The house was perfect for 3 adult couples and the location in regards to the river and the chain was perfect. Loved every minute of this trip

Friends Getaway

Three families decided to getaway for the holiday weekend and found the river house in McHenry to be a perfect fit! Close to home, right on the river, updated home with plenty of space! We spent the weekend relaxing out on the huge deck and fishing from the pier. It was perfect for what we needed and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future!

Nice quaint getaway for our family

Everything was as expected. Plenty of room for the 6 adults that stayed. Patio overlooking river was very nice - could see sunset! Kitchen had everything we needed! Enough restaurants to choose from for eating out and Volo Auto Museum is a must-see!

Very nice people!!

Was attending grandsons Navy Graduation. Very happy with the home. It has.a beautiful view. Weather alerts for a tornado started going off. I noticed there was a storm door. I enjoyed my stay.. I would recommend this place. It is beautiful!!

Just what we needed!

This property was perfect for our group of 7. Close to everything we needed. I would not hesitate to rent again. Bonus its right by my favorite bakery 😍 (Riverside bakery) The pool table was a nice way to pass time when we were at the house. When we are in town to visit family in the future this will be my first place to check for vacancy!
