About this property

Looking for the perfect base camp to explore the UP, hike the Porkies, hunt agates on the beach or just relax? This White Pine company house has been remodeled with raised ceilings and wood paneling for the rustic, cozy feel of a cabin retreat.
The master sleeps two on a queen Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattress with the options to elevate and a soothing vibration massage for the legs, lower back and upper body. The small bedroom sleeps one and the foldout sofa in the living room sleeps two kids or one adult.

CJ's is just minutes from the Konteka Black Bear Lounge and snowmobile trails, and a short drive will take you on beautiful adventures exploring the Porcupine Mountains or to the beach. If you want to Netflix and chill or game after exploring the area, we have 300 Mbps Internet and most streaming services. In the winter, the driveway will be plowed to allow room for up to two vehicles and a snowmobile trailer.

Our mission is to provide you with the cleanest, coziest place to relax - a place that feels more like a home away from home than a rental. You don't have to worry about bringing your own coffee, tea, toilet paper, shampoo, dish soap, dishwasher detergent or bath products; all the bedding and towels are new and we pride ourselves on fast communication to help you with whatever you need.

Perfect place!!

The house is just plain awesome, and suited us 3 wonderfully. I was amazed on the decorations and all the amenities of home. This is the perfect long weekend getaway to hike the Porkies, look at Lake Superior just taking in nature. Gonna book it again end of this year.. Thanks again!!

Very nice, clean and comfortable!

We enjoyed the added bonus of the private beach, and found the drive to the hiking trails in the porcupine mountains to be short and easy. We were fortunate to hit the peak of fall colors and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. I especially liked all the waterfalls. My husband especially liked touring the Quincy copper mine.

Best place to go see the Porkies!

CJ has the best place! Cozy, so clean, and close to everything. He gave us lots of suggestions, and they were all great. The private beach to go to was just so beautiful and perfect! He thought of everything you could possibly need at the cabin! I really appreciated the coffee, snacks, hot shower and Netflix after the cold rain. We loved our visit. It was a great introduction to Michigan for me.

Great Place to Stay near Porcupine Mountains

Everything was great! Host had everything set for anything we might need during our stay. If we would have forgotten any basic necessity, it was there. Appreciated the snacks, maps, and area information. This was our first visit to the area. If we ever return, we definitely want to stay here again! (The bed has memory foam type of mattress if that makes a difference in deciding to stay here or not.)

The house was very comfortable with many modern amenities and set up very well, leaving little to be desired. Aside from the nearby street construction, the location provided a great jumping off point for Porcupine Mountain Park, and areas with other sites such as Paulding. Overall, one of the nicest VRBOs we have stayed at.

Relaxing getaway

Perfect family getaway

**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️** We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house with our three kids. The house was beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and silverware, making meal prep easy as we brought our own food. We appreciated the provided paper towels and towels, and it was great not needing to make any additional stops at the store. The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The temperature inside the house was just right. The grill was a fantastic addition, allowing us to enjoy some outdoor cooking. The neighborhood was peaceful, perfect for the quiet getaway we were looking for. The friendly maintenance person, who also lived nearby, was very welcoming, though we didn't need any assistance during our stay. We loved the area's opportunities for hiking, swimming, and fishing, which was our main reason for visiting. Additionally, having access to a private beach was a highlight. Each night, we used our UV flashlights to hunt for yooper lights, which was an exciting and memorable experience. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Stay in the UP

The cabin was very well decorated and very well stocked. We appreciated the fact that everything we needed was there for us - snacks, coffee, toiletries, towels, and bedding. The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. It was close to the Porcupine Mountains and just a couple of hours away from Copper Harbor.

As a native of of White Pine, I'm excited to open up our home which is just a few miles away from Lake Superior and the Porcupine Mountains. From agate hunting to skiing the Porkies, jumping off the Bonanza (Greenwoods to the locals) waterfalls to snowmobiling, I've had many adventures in the U.P. I'll never forget... and hope you do the same!

Why they chose this property

Part of the charm of White Pine is the "cookie cutter" suburban layout of matching homes. This company house, however, has been completely remodeled inside with raised, wooden ceilings for a more individual, rustic feel, and all the beds have brand new sheets, blankets, comforters and pillows. No musty bedding or towels! The driveway will be cleared for snowmobile trailers and trucks in the winter.
