We rented this house over the Christmas holidays and were disappointed in our stay. The floors creak badly, the kitchen has cheap appliances and cookware — and an it has an insufficient amount of dishes (one glass & plate per guest, so constantly doing dishes). The master shower is a tiny, narrow faux clawfoot with a cheap plastic curtain and nothing to hold onto getting in or out. The house sleeps 6, but the sofa seats 3 and the only other seating is hard upright chairs. When I emailed the host about it, I didn’t hear back. I wish I had booked something else.
We had a great time at this home. The five adults and one pup were all comfortably accommodated. The kitchen provided all we needed for easy meal prep, and we loved walking this beautiful neighborhood.
The house was a great home base for our family trip to Boise for Treefort. The beds (especially the one in the middle room) were incredibly comfortable and the hot tub was a great bonus. The East End neighborhood is convenient and we enjoyed looking at all the beautiful homes.
This place was an amazing little place for family to stay for a weekend of fun and laughs and Shakespeare festival. We just loved it. Thanks for sharing this gem with us!! Beds were comfy, house was clean, and it was just an awesome little place to hang out. Can’t wait for next time!!
The big draw here is the hot tub, enclosed back yard for our small pups, and the location. The house has a few rough edges, but no major complaints. Better quality cooking pans would be nice.
We had a great time skiing, hiking to hot springs in the snow, walking the shops downtown, cooking meals and playing games in this quaint home! We had everything we needed and there was enough bed space for our group of 5. It is a historic neighborhood so the home has the quirks and charm of a historic property and we would gladly refer a friend or stay again. Access to everything we wanted to do in Boise was great. Thank you for hosting us.
This was a charming home but is in need of some love. When we arrived there was a random shoe in the front yard with a dryer sheet. When we entered the property we noticed what looked like chocolate smudges on the pillows of the sofa and the curtains. The refrigerator had yellow something on the door handle. The floors were not cleaned well. I did take pictures to share with the owner, who was very responsive to my concerns but could not provide a way for me to forward the pictures to him. The outdoor area while nice but also had concerns. The grass was not cut. The patio had screws just laying around. The is a side of the house that had prior dog waste still there and a bunch of random junk items that a child or a dog could get hurt going in that area that was not closed off.
