Enjoy all the amenities of home in these fully furnished condominiums including LCD, flat-screen TVs, full-sized kitchen or kitchenette with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, private patio or balcony (2 brdms only), dining area, and modern, yet beachy, décor.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of The Beach on Longboat Key #101 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles, and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Exceeded expectations!

We did have a broken dishwasher which didn't bother us as we usually use paper products on vacation. This is our second stay with RVA. Both times we reported maintenance needs. Neither were addressed during our stays.

All of the beds were very uncomfortable, and I even considered coming home early because of them. If they replaced the beds, I believe this place will get repeat customers. Otherwise, I don't think I'll come back. The nice things about it were beachfront and nicely heated pool.

Old and tired

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We lived the location of this unit, directly on the beach. However, the unit needed to be painted, deep cleaned, and updated. The dishwasher didn’t work well, the furniture was outdated in the main living area, and there were things that were sub-standard overall, like the lighting(not enough) and the water never got hot enough. The place needs to be refreshed. The bedroom was the best part of the unit, as the furniture had been updated and the mattress was comfortable. I wouldn’t rent this unit again, unless there are changes made.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The master bedroom is spacious-the king size bed VERY comfortable. Bed in den also very comfortable. 2 baths. 1shower one tub. Living area very nice, very clean, lanai spacious and private with easy access to pool. Kitchen had nice appliances and eat-in area. Easy access onto Gulf of Mexico Drive-lots of restaurants within a short drive-be sure to check out Lazy Lobster and go over bridge to Cortez-Seafood Shack-great food and prices-seafood super fresh. My husband and I would highly recommend The Beach!

Access to the beautiful beach was a short walk further. This rental had all of the necessities covered. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

First time in Longboat Key

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach location and pool was excellent, bbq as advertised lacked propane and I brought this up to the maintenance guy who mentioned that he could not replace the tank due to the time, approximately 4:30 pm. Secondary tank was empty and in bad shape! AC condenser was in the main bedroom that made a lot of noise. My wife who is very conscientious about cleaning said that the room was poorly cleaned. We would have expected higher standards for the price. We will not recommend this rental unit or any on this property. Sorry but being truthful!

Perfect getaway

So, if you’re looking for something to get away, quiet, peaceful retreat with beautiful sunsets away from the center of town. This is it. I stayed in unit 101, it’s big enough, perfect sunsets from the patio. Pool and beach are right there which is convenient when traveling with 2 toddlers. The unit needs some TLC and a very deep cleaning maybe even some paint, but overall it’s a great unit and I’ll definitely be back!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit #101 is a nice,convenient location. We enjoyed staying there. The office staff was very helpful also. Our thoughts are that the grounds of the property and on the patios need maintenance badly, looking really bad. Although the unit was clean, the floor was not, it could have used a good mopping. On checkin day after walking around barefoot we noticed that our feet were filthy. I would have though that the cleaning fee should have taken care of this. Thanks for listening.

The cost of it is outrageous compared to what you get my windows were disgustingly dirty ( I did point it out to the local manager, nothing changed ) The cleaning team is terrible , they had no training, or not enough

The Beach on Longboat Key #101

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was clean and provided the main necessities. The property could stand a re-model given that there is peeling paint and marks of the walls and furniture. Our party was made up of 4 guests. Two of them were grown children, 17yr old and 23 yr old. I felt that the property was to small to accomodate this amount of people. The bunk beds would better serve small kids. The weather on the beach was not the best and it would have been nice to be able to take a swim in the heated pool just steps away from our apartment. But unfortunately the pool was not heated throughout our vacation with the water as cold or colder than the ocean water. Also several attempts over multiple days were made to speak to the person at the front desk but there was nobody there to speak to. Longboat Key ia a very private island with little restaurants and stores. There is no trolley service available to shuttle you to fun places on the island like St. Armands Circle or Mote Aquarium. All in all the vacation was okay but nothing special or worth the time or money. We will not be returning again.

Reviewer Comments: I would just need a few improovements, then it would be absolutely perfect: Screen in front of patio door ( there once was one for sure) , some high chairs on the patio to be able to see the ocean, less noisy pool technic and some paint refreshment in kitchen an bath, that would be it !

After staying at a high end hotel this was initially disappointing but it served our purposes to extend our stay and having the extra bed and bathroom was great. The beach chairs could be updated but we still enjoyed our time there

Room fell short of expectations

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the on site front office manager was wonderful, we were very disappointed in the room. It was very old and dilapidated. The front door was very difficult to lock and the entire until needs a fresh coat of paint. The A/C was so loud that I could not sleep the first night and was tired and groggy the next day. The shower water was like a water hose vs an actual shower. The appliances were old and outdated and the place overall felt dirty.
