Great property! And once you get there you really have no need to drive when there are several good restaurants and local shops within walking distance. The house itself was clean and exactly as described. It was easy to get to and we had no problems with check in. Communication with the host was fantastic. The house itself was lovely. Comfortable furniture, including the bed (we only slept in the queen). There are some basic items like coffee, salt & pepper, toiletries, towels, etc. Then there were some fun snacks they put together and there were also drinks (soda & water) in the fridge. We were fortunate to have a warmer day to walk around and pop into quite a few fun shops and just walked to dinner and walked to the coffee shop in the morning for breakfast. Overall, it was a nice weekend get-away and we definitely recommend this rental.
Friends and I had a girls weekend in Washington and we were beyond lucky to be able to secure this absolute treasure of a home for the weekend. Everything was exceptional, from communication with Laurie, to the comfort of the home and all of the beautiful finishing touches. Everything about our stay in this home was top tier perfection, Laurie went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and not a single thing was missed. The house was perfectly located for us to walk to shops and restaurants, and only a 10 minute drive from a few wineries. Our weekend couldn't have been better, we will absolutely be going back to Washington and will only stay at The Bird Creek Inn. Laurie and our stay at The Bird Creek Inn were truly the best!
The house has been redone and they have done an excellent. They made sure of all the tiny details that make a house a home. There was great communication with the owner. I recommend this home to anyone coming to stay in Washington, MO.
