The pros: excellent water pressure. Cost and location were good. The cons: The property could have been cleaner. Obvious crumbs, staining on couch and curtains and other items. Poor fit and finish left it feeling worn out and poorly maintained. Only 2 towels for the bathroom was tricky with 3 of us. No internal lock on front door, which after our code worked on another door within the building, made us feel less secure. Misc food items left in fridge/freezer.
Perfect place to stay if you want to visit the downtown. We went to the Alberta Bair Theater to see a concert, it was just a short walk to the theater.
The property was very clean, loved the location, very safe area, quiet. We didn’t cook, but the appliances looked to be in good working order. The furniture is a mishmash of things and not very attractive. Some good junk/antique store finds would fancy the place up a lot! Good lighting would be a plus, as the only windows with light look right out onto the sidewalk. Overall a pleasant stay.
Considering the hotel around the corner was twice the price for just a room, we were so pleased with a kitchen, bedroom, office space and Murphy bed in the living room. It allowed my colleague and I to have private space that just a hotel room wouldn’t have allowed. We walked everywhere: grocery, Pilates class, the hotel where our course was held, a variety of restaurants. It was a great central location!
Everything was basically fine. These are just my thoughts on what could be improved.
There was no sponge, dish soap in the kitchen or hand soap or shampoo in the bathroom.
Furniture is quite dated, mattresses quite soft.

Don’t go out after dark
The property is very close to downtown, but it was also very near to unsafe areas. There were multiple altercations in the street in front of our unit during our stay, and we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the unit after dark, let alone walking around downtown. We wouldn’t book again.
Nice place in a fantastic area. Very walkable around the cleanest, nicest downtown I've ever seen! Lots of restaurants nearby, just not a whole lot open on Sundays. We ate at Stellas Kitchen around the corner, it was delicious! Very nice stay.
The space was great! Nice and clean, quiet and close to great food. Kim was great, responded in a timely manner and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends and would stay again in the future!
Kim emailed me the code on the day of check in and we had a lovely walk to the gym and a restaurant downtown. The AC ensured a good nights rest and it was clean with updated bathroom/kitchen. We would love to stay again.
