Welcome to The Hike On Inn- a newly renovated 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom located in Clay City, Kentucky! This country chic home offers two king beds, one queen bed, & plenty of space to make memories with friends and family. The kitchen is full of cooking utensils, all linens & towels are provided, and there is a smart TV in every room. The Hike On Inn is only 3 minutes from Mountain Park Dragway, 15 minutes from Natural Bridge, & 20 minutes from Red River Gorge! Come Experience your Stay with us!

Hosts are not on site, but are available 24/7 for any questions, concerns, or needs.

You will access the home with a code created just for you.

GATHER:
The Hike On Inn has plenty of space to gather with friends & family to make lifelong memories. The living room has plenty of seating with a smart tv to watch all of your favorite shows and movies. The dining table offers 6 chairs, but there are extra charis & a leaf to add to the table if needed.

EAT
The Hike On Inn has a fully functional kitchen with all basic cooking supplies! We do not supply any cooking ingredients/spices, but we do supply cooking utensils.

SLEEP
With 3 bedrooms, 2 king beds, and 1 queen bed, there is plenty of room for six people to get a good night's rest before a day of exploring the Red River Gorge!

Ok for short stays

Good for what we needed. Wouldn't recommend staying more than 2 nights as the beds were very uncomfortable, kitchen cabinets weren't very clean. Bathrooms were nice & clean.

We loved this unit.

The interior of this property is adorable and comfy! The exterior looks like a store. Locals said they thought it was a florist before it was converted. Short drive to Red River Gorge. The only downside was the beds are extremely squeaky, and the walls seem thin, resulting in a lack of privacy. It has 1.5 baths, not 2. None of that was a problem for us at all, just mentioning it for others. There are really nice TV's in every room, and a huge dining table. I doubt you could find a better place for the price!

This was very unusual. My mother and kids were travelling on a cross country trip and we stopped in KY to see Natural Bridge SP. When we arrived at the VRBO it looked very clean and comfortable, the house behind it was not necessarily comforting (confederate flag in window and broken glass in one of the parked cars, lots of stares from people standing outside). However, we decided to ignore it and settle in after hiking all day. About thirty minutes after arriving my youngest started screaming and crying after discovering a room in the kitchen with a sliding door that looked like a storage room, it had graffiti all over the walls and wires hanging down with a chair inside. It literally looked like a room that a person was put inside and locked in. VERY disturbing. We actually considered leaving because he was so scared. The management company sent us a text later in the day saying it was an old cooler for flowers and the last guests broke the lock off by accident and they didn't have time to replace it. It would have been great to know that BEFORE we got there OR they should have repaired the lock prior to our arrival. I have pictures of the room and I really feel like anyone travelling with kids should avoid it until they fix it. The guests before us even left a note, "enjoyed the murder aesthetic". Just not what we should have experienced with kids. Also, no one ever sent check in instructions, so we were stranded for an hour until someone finally responded.

Stay away!!!

This place is an old business that has been turned into a house. You share the parking lot with a small apartment. When we went in things looked nice then we opened the door n the kitchen thinking it was a pantry however it looked like a room from a horror movie. It was a small room with spray paint on the walls and a single chair facing the wall with tissues on the floor and messed up lighting. Needless to say when we seen this we called and canceled our stay. We felt like it was a scene from a slasher movie. Stay away and do not rent!!!

Bumpy start but..

They unfortunately had some plumbing issues. However the host was very kind and accommodating! The house was beautiful and inviting. Aside from the one toilet with some issues, it was a very pleasant stay. Id definitely stay with them again and would recommend them to anyone! Thank you Emily and ES for being so hospitable!
