This cozy 1 bedroom had all that we needed as we were in town for a funeral. The air/heat conditioner was very noisy so we didn't use it but everything else was top notch. The Bed was great.
The place worked wonderfully for one person, very nice to have an in-unit washer and dryer. Location was not great, it was directly off a main road and the traffic was a bit loud/the area did not seem the safest. However, the apartment building was secure and I didn’t have any issues. Host was very communicative!
The location was good for us because it was near our daughter and new grandson. Easy entrance, and safe neighborhood. We had most of what we needed for our 3 night stay. The bed in the bedroom was quite inviting. However, it was hard to get the apartment warm enough to be cozy. The twin bed in the front room wasn't comfortable, and there wasn't nearly enough bedding for it. We finally had to borrow a comforter from our daughter to be warm enough in that bed.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication, location
Adequate
Worked for us but we would not rebook in the future for three reasons
1. Location busy street road noise and firewood business next door
2. Wi-fi connection only worked the first day
3. Shower came out only as a small trickle
Nothing fancy, but great price and met our basic needs
This VRBO was centrally located for our stay and the places we needed to be. It had all the basic amenities we needed for a temporary stay and the accommodations we're adequate for the amount of time we spent there. It's right next to the Jackson highway which made entering and exiting the parking a little tricky and created trafficky white nose throughout the night. If you're a light sleeper, recommend bringing ear plugs. We had our dog with us and she didn't sleep well because of the floor board sounds about us, other dogs in other units, and the (once in a while) unusually loud vehicle whizzing by on the highway. The shower was large but narrow, and there wasn't a lot of counter space in the kitchen. Though appliances were plenty - such as Keurig coffee machine, microwave, etc. Once we figured out how to use the alarm/key system to both the doors, it was easy and convenient to use the keyless system.

I am a father of 3 and happily married for over 19 years.
Why they chose this property
This property is uniquely located with access to major highways with all the amenities for a comfortable space. This is a locally owned apartment building with a mixture of long-term residents. The building was originally built in 1890 but recently renovated from top to bottom keeping the aesthetic beauty from the Victorian era but with all the modern amenities and technology. The apartment set up allows everyone to have their own private space but a very home and safe feeling knowing that you have nice neighbors close by.
What makes this property unique
Private apartment, no need to share space with anyone. Reserved parking on a main road with limited traffic and plenty of things to do close by. Light rail is within walking distance and the property is on .5 an acre so you can go for a walk without even venturing too far.
