Beds and linens were super comfortable! Just a quick 30 min drive to get into all the tourist parts of downtown Seattle!Floors were a little bit cold staying here in March, so pack some warm socks. Good communication, great stay!
Our second time at one of Alexis's places. We had a very comfortable stay here. Location is walkable to Redmond shops, restaurants and transit center. Comfortable beds, great off street parking, great shower, spacious, coffee and tea are added bonus. Will definitely stay again when we're visiting Redmond.
I did not stay the night at this property. Soon after checking in i broke out in hives from the bath tub which was completely painted over in cheap house paint. The owner was unwilling to discuss the matter or refund me for the second night even after I offered to pay for the first night. Exploitative host and innacurate listing,
i understand that things happen. but the host cancelled on us three hours before we got there. this really left us in a bad spot and we had to book a much smaller place at a premium price and just take what was available. I understand that things happen and they had no power, but they had clearly been without power for at least a day. They should have let us know sooner that they were cancelling our reservation so we weren’t stuck trying to find another place while three hours away from Seattle in the car.
Alexis was wonderful at communicating our questions/needs. This spot was perfect for us to stay and visit friends and loved being closed to downtown Redmond. The pictures are accurate with it seeing in person and beds were very comfy!
Communication was great very easy to get into. Everything was nice and clean and easy to find such a fun stay. There are no TVs in the bedrooms which didn’t bother us, but it might bother some people.
My non stay was terrible! This should be removed from VRBO. Went to check in after a company function only to be messaged by host that it was canceled. She said she messaged me the day before, but I had no messages. I read on the reviews that this was not a one off with this host. BEWARE. had to scramble last minute for a hotel in an unfamiliar city.
This location was ideally situated close to downtown Redmond and was easy to find. Parking behind the unit was very convenient. Plenty of space for the two of us and could easily accommodate 2-3 more people.
Check in and out process was very simple and Alex didn't require us to complete any "chores" before we left.
We would stay here again.
I really enjoyed communication with Alexis...it seemed she was happy to answer all my questions and extremely prompt with her replies. My main concerns were parking and vegan eateries. Parking was perfect: off the street and safely behind the condo.
She told me about a vegan food truck "The Hungry Herbivore" just a couple of miles from the condo...DELICIOUS!
The condo was clean and well appointed. It was walking distance close to shops and markets. I'd stay there again, for sure.
The unit was clean & cute inside. We were missing bath towels in the bathroom; I think it may have just been an oversight by the house keeper. Overall, we would recommend the property and stay again if visiting the chateau for a concert. Moreover, the property manager was easy to work with and very responsive.
Great place to stay after a concert at Chateau St Michelle- about a 15 minute drive there. Very clean, nicely updated and quiet for being on a busy street. The living room was a great place to relax, drink wine and play a game of cards. AC kept the unit cool and coffee bar was a plus for the next morning. What would make it even better is another mirror or two to prepare for a night out. Would stay here again!
The property was just like it was pictured, although a little older than we expected. It was neat and tidy and the beds were very comfortable, but unfortunately, we didn’t find the top sheet until the next morning so we slept with the wonderful comforter against our skin. I can only hope they are washed between each guest Visits no special rules for extra cleaning which was much appreciated. There is an adorable bunny living in the bushes just outside.
There was no stay. We found out at 4:30pm on the day we were checking in (check-in was supposed to be at 4pm), that we did not have a place to stay. VRBO blamed the owner & the owner blamed VRBO for whatever happened. I had booked this place over a month ago & was never contacted about a cancellation. When I called VRBO on check-in day, after not receiving any check-in information (although we did get an email from VRBO confirming our reservation), they told me to call the owner. When I called the owner, I was told to contact VRBO 🙄. NO ONE explained what happened & we had to find a place to stay for the night. I was not surprised offered any compensation or written apology. I al
so disappointed in VRBO. I hope the owner will be removed from using VRBO if this was his fault. We came to WA all the way from IL & should not have to look for a place to stay at the last minute.

An anniversary get away
The property was OK. The property had some nice things, but some things were very tired. The cabinets in the kitchen were tired. The bathroom tub was very tired with some paint on it. The windows were tired. It’s obvious that the owners are trying to replace, things and work is being done to the property. It looks like a new sliding door will be put on the other side of the bedroom where the second closet is. There have been some renovations. The property owner let us in an hour early, which was very nice.. The chrome on the appliances in the kitchen did not look very clean. The stove was a little greasy on top. And it smelled bad when you turned the burner on. The silverware and plates cups etc. were fine. The linens and towels were very clean. The tea and coffee aspect was nice as well. There were pots and pans to use, although we didn’t. I was going to boil water for tea, but the smell was a turn off on the stove.
The property owner was very helpful and responsive.
The property was also located on a very busy street where Police were going by a lot.So it was hard to sleep.. It was a little disappointing for the price.

SPACE/AMBIANCE:
Lots of room and lots of space at this property. Great floor plan. I also appreciated the contemporary furniture, the two sizable beds, the clean linens and towels, and even the white television and kids that were provided on the couch because I was able to use those and enjoy those as a barrier so I didn’t have to sit directly on the public couch. I really appreciated those gentle and thoughtful touches. The Keurig and the coffee selection were wonderful. Fridge clean.
HOST:
Alexis is responsive and proactive. I had everything I needed before even having to ask.
CLEANLINESS:
Immediately upon walking into the apartment, it smelled like something stale, and I could not place it. I didn’t know if it was mothballs, old building materials (eg popcorn ceiling or asbestos), mold, or over). But “something” wasn’t right, and it was overpowering and uncomfortable. I smell this order at the front door, but I also smelt it when I would have my head near the bathroom sink while brushing my teeth. So I don’t know what that odor is.
Likewise, besides the odor in the linen closet where the towels are kept and also in the bathroom I could still see somebody else’s long black hair everywhere on the floor, & the shower wouldn’t drain. It was completely clogged up. I don’t know if there was more hair in there.
For these reasons, I didn’t feel comfortable. I wanted to stay until check out, but left early so I could take a shower at home and get fresh air.
