The Hammond cottages were built in 1919 and, while updated with modern amenities, still have a nostalgic feeling of days long ago. Across from the cottage is a playground with swings and a basketball hoop. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are very friendly.
The kid’s bedroom has a hidden nook for chalk drawings and relaxing, the jetted bathtub and adjustable bed is perfect for relaxation. Pals, the Kingsport Merry-go-round, and other downtown attractions are within walking distance.

Communication with the owner of this property was outstanding from requesting to book all the way through till we checked out. This little condo is in a perfect quiet neighbor hood and only a short walk to downtown Kingsport. This was the perfect place to stay and would absolutely come back and stay here again.
The house was perfect for our stay, we were less than ten minutes from family we were visiting. The rental it's self was in great condition, we had no issues with anything. If it's available the next time we visit we will definitely be staying again.
Stayed for 2 weeks, nice home and quiet neighborhood with a small park across from the home!! Close proximity to downtown Kingsport. Very relaxing place to stay and some long days!
This cozy little duplex was nicely decorated with the kind of furnishings that gave it character yet comfort. It had everything you needed unless a dishwasher is a must. The bed in the main bedroom was a Tempur-pedic which we weren't crazy about, but maybe other people like. The owners were very considerate and helpful, and the property was in a great location. I would stay there again.
It’s a quiet neighborhood which we thoroughly enjoyed. The host was accommodating and gracious. We felt like we were home. Would definitely stay there again.
I would definitely stay here again. This charming older home was well-furnished and very comfortable. It's in a quiet, walkable neighborhood with a park across the street. Close to downtown Kingsport and a greenway.
It wasn't an issue for me but the upstairs bathroom is a jack-and-jill style between the two bedrooms and the doors into the bedrooms don't close/latch completely, so use of that bathroom requires some coordination for the uber privacy-conscious.
Shannon was great!
The location, homes and host are the best. The home is clean and check in and out is effortless. The host is so accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We look forward to our next stay. You will not be disappointed if you book your stay with Shannon.
We had an awesome stay at this beautiful house! The kids loved the bunk beds and chalk board room! We definitely will be back to visit. Shannon is the best and super cooperative and quick to respond! Thank you for letting us be your first guest:)
Very clean, had everything we needed no need to go out and buy extra stuff. Great cozy home. 100% recommend. Host was very easy to get a hold of in case we had questions.
Used the house as a launch point for the bristol races, the town is only a half hour away from the track using the back roads. The neighborhood hood was quiet and easy to walk and navigate. I recommend staying here to anyone that wants a quiet place in East Tennessee
Nice place! Nice neighborhood! And very clean place! They have everything to feel on you own house! Better than any hotel! And they respond as possible any questions!
I recommend to any friends or family!
We enjoyed relaxing in this historic (and updated) home. We were looking for a home that was part of a nice neighborhood feel, near downtown Kingsport. This was a perfect fit!
Our host Shannon was responsive and hospitable, a lovely experience. Thanks for an easy stay that felt like a second home.
