Our cabin was wonderful and so are the hosts. It happened to be unusally cold for that time of year and when we walked in, it was so nice and warm! Thank you for thinking ahead for us. Not all my family was as lucky!! The cabin was beautiful, cozy and clean. We overly enjoyed the fireplace and the furniture was very comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay!!Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!Georgiana
We had a wonderful stay at Simple Pleasures! The host, Jo, was amazing! She had thought of everything we would need and was very responsive to any questions we had while staying in the cabin. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The cabin was decorated with a Christmas tree and the cutest Christmas decor. It was great! Jo is so thoughtful! We had a great stay and plan on coming back again when it is warmer and we can enjoy the outdoor screened in porch.
This cabin is nestled in the woods within a gated community which made it feel more private and secure. Everything was very clean, the kitchen has great appliances and had everything we needed. This cabin does not offer a hot tub, pool table, gaming machines, etc. which was perfect for us. It allowed us to spend time together enjoying the screened porch and absorbing the beauty of nature without all the distractions. My only issue was that the queen size bed on the main floor was squeaky. I will definitely rent this cabin again!
We enjoyed our stay. Motorcycle friendly which is a huge plus for a mountain home.

Simple Pleasures is a lovely, comfortable cabin in a beautiful location. I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds and bedding! It's in a quiet location but close to all the activities of the area. On a more personal note, I have loved the novel "Christy" since I was a child, so seeing the street names in the area always made me smile. Great communication with the owner and easy check-in. We hope to return!
Short getaway to experience the national park. Very convenient location, beautiful setting and great accommodations. Host very responsive when we had questions. Perfect place for 2 couples. Hope to return sometime when we can stay longer.

Not for elderly
The property was not easy for older folks with bad balance. Be careful of your footing. It’s definitely on a slope. Pictures can be deceiving. No trash can under the deck and we couldn’t have put it there anyway. I’m 82, husband is 84. Cabin was not as clean as expected.
We had three adults and two kids. The layout worked out well and the house was clean and comfortable. Jo was quick to respond to questions. The house is in a gated community in the mountain. The roads are narrow and winding and there are a couple of steep hills. We had no problems in a mini van in good weather, but also arrived during the day, which I would recommend if you don’t drive in the mountains often. We would definitely stay there again.
Loved everything about our stay . The cabin had everything you needed and then some . The cutest thing was the family that stayed before us left a little surprise, we could either adopt it or leave it for the next guest, we adopted. We also did the same . I hope that will continue.
Very quiet location up the mountain. At this time of year on multiple trips up and down we only passed one car! Very nice short week away!
My favorite thing was the lovely Christmas decorations and a lit Christmas tree that welcomed us on arrival!
Thank you!!
Great place and enjoyed very much! Two marks against it would be poor lighting in the downstairs bedroom and that bedroom carpet really needs replaced. All else was excellent!
My family came to Tennessee to cheer on my son and his teammates as their football team was playing in the Rocky Top Nationals. The weather was perfect 70’s and 60’s and Simple Pleasure was the best place for our family. The house had everything that we needed and made cooking easy for every meal. I was more excited that we were able to see three bears walking down the road.
Everything was great. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the screened in porch and back deck. Very easy check in and out process. We would stay here again. Thank so much!!
The cabin was so nice and Jo, the property manager, went out of her way to answer questions we had including a visit to the cabin. The location was wonderful for our visit to Cade’s Cove.
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Simple Pleasures cabin. The cabin was exactly as described and very clean. Check in was easy too. The location was perfect for easy access to the Smoky Mountain National Park for site seeing and hiking, while also not too far of a drive to Pigeon Forge.
The cabin was very clean. We also had a very active bear.
