Lake City Cottage - one block to the beach! 7 night minimum

Adorable 3 bedroom / 1 bath cottage in the beautiful waterfront town of Lake City, MN within walking distance to the beach, beachfront park, marina, shops, restaurants and a variety of city parks and recreational areas. So much to see and do without even needing to get in the car! Perfect for a week long staycation or stay longer and kick back, relax and enjoy the quaint lake life of the this historic town!
Lake City is located along the shoreline of Lake Pepin, the widest spot of the Mississippi River and is the birthplace of water-skiing, invented in 1922 by Ralph Samuelson. This location provides an abundance of activities within easy walking distance - great parks for walking, swimming, and fishing as well as some of the best boating in the Midwest with two of the largest small-craft marinas on the Upper Mississippi River. Lake City Marina is one block away!

Don't miss the Thursday farmer's market throughout summer at Ohuta Park with vendors, food trucks, splash pad and live music!

Attend one of the annual festivals including the 100-Mile Garage Sale in May, Tour De Pepin Bike Tour and Water Ski Days in June, Fourth of July Fireworks in July, and Johnny Appleseed Days in October, along with Street Markets in late summer.

Eat at one of our many restaurants that offer a variety of different menu items and shop at one of the unique small town shops for all your shopping and souvenir needs.

Whether you want to fish, sail, motorboat, swim, golf at one of the three local golf courses, or just relax and take in the beautiful waterfront views, you will not want to leave this magical place. Whatever you choose to do, there is something for everyone and this home is right in the heart of all of the amenities this downtown waterfront area has to offer!

The cottage provided everything we needed for two nights at Lake Pepin. This was the best-stocked kitchen we have had at any vacation rental.

We had a lovely stay at this house. The kitchen was fully supplied, the rooms were clean and it was just a block away from the lake and downtown area. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to be close to the beach and downtown area.

Just perfect!

Great location near water! Kitchen well stocked, rooms were clean, and owners were quick to respond to questions. If we ever get back to Lake City, would rent again. It was just perfect!

Nice location, very clean

Very clean and updated property. Nice linens and pillows, towels. Easy check in and owners were easy to reach. Kitchen has every item you could think of for cooking. Easy walk to cute downtown shops and very quiet neighborhood.

Fishing Get Away

I booked this place for my husbands annual fishing trip to Lake Pepin. It was two blocks from the marina so he was able to walk back and forth while taking breaks from fishing- the house had everything we needed and the kitchen was especially well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the backyard and front porch were both quiet and relaxing places to unwind at night-

Long weekend away with family.

Great location and lovely neighbourhood. House was nice, clean, welcoming and cozy. Fully stocked kitchen. Nice size bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Loved the living room. Enough seating for everyone. Definitely would book again. Julie was very responsive.

Lake City getaway!

Lake City is such a quaint town, lots of cute shops and coffee shops. The house is centrally located to most of what Lake City has to offer. Very clean and provides a fabulous place to stay while there. Matt and Julie are amazing hosts. They are incredibly easy to contact and work with you on whatever you may need help with. Enjoy!!!
