Este apartamento de un dormitorio en la planta baja se encuentra en el Ocotillo Lodge, el famoso punto de referencia de Palm Springs, conocido por su fabulosa gran piscina de champán en forma de corcho. El dormitorio tiene una cama king-size de California, y la sala de estar tiene un sofá de cuero que se convierte en una cama queen-size (ocupación máxima de 2 adultos) y un cómodo sillón reclinable de cuero.

El condominio está diseñado para la comodidad y cuenta con una cocina completa, baño, sala y comedor y patio privado. Después de un día disfrutando de las muchas actividades en Palm Springs, relájese y disfrute de una película en casa (Blu Ray o DVD) en uno de los televisores de pantalla plana. El apartamento tiene ventanas de piso a techo que muestran el aire libre con sus hermosas vistas a la montaña. La cocina cuenta con cafetera, molinillo de café, tostadora, tetera, licuadora, batidora, microondas, así como una buena selección de ollas, sartenes, recipientes, vasos y vajilla.

Además de la famosa piscina, The Ocotillo cuenta con dos jacuzzis / spas. Los jardines están bellamente plantados con vegetación desértica y cactus, y la casa club principal tiene un gimnasio completo y mesas de billar, así como una sala de estar con piano de cola que da a la piscina. Junto a la piscina hay una zona de barbacoa con parrillas de carbón. Convenientemente ubicado a una corta distancia a pie del centro de la ciudad, ya poco más de una cuadra del supermercado Ralph's, con el restaurante de Elmer al otro lado de la calle, si necesita comer ahora.

La Ciudad de Palm Springs cobra un impuesto hotelero (11. 5% de la tarifa de alquiler) para estadías de 28 días o menos, que debe agregarse para estadías cortas (Permiso de Impuesto No. 4727 Ciudad de Palm Springs ID # 1457).

This place was well stocked very clean and location was perfect. The contact Ric thank you for meeting us there and handling our needs. The nostalgia was awesome A big pool with two hot tubs The 60 s vibe was still there. We would definitely stay here again Thank you

Excellent accommodations

From start to finish our experience with the unit was outstanding. Easy booking online, great owner and property manager communication. Location was ideal for exploring Palm Springs or surrounding area. The unit itself was even more impressive once we arrived than I was expecting. Very comfortable, fully equipped, with great inclusion of local magazines and books. Kitchen had everything you need, and bathroom - spacious!! and modern. Only downside is having to depart. Highly recommend ... unless it is for the dates I want to return :-)

Cozy Condo w/ good location

We enjoyed our stay at this condo in the Ocotillo Lodge. The bed was comfortable and the unit was clean. Toiletries were provided, and the location was great. I enjoyed morning walks with great views of the sun on the mountains. Pool and hot tubs were welcoming and never crowded. Check-in and out easy with good communication w/ property manager and the owner. Would stay here again!

Great find - super location

Excellent communication from the owner before the stay and the property mgr during the stay. Had everything we needed. Loved that the unit was right inside the gate close to where we parked. Also spoiled by having an electric recliner. Super location of the unit near the hot tub and laundry. Could have used the public bus into downtown but was an easy 2 mile walk there. Did drive to Villagefest and parked in the free public parking ramp. Also quick walk or drive to grocery store. Husband walked everyday to coffee shop on the corner. Enjoyable stay and loved the temps.

Don’t be alarmed!

From the outside the property is not very inviting. The gates and fences give it an “Attica” appearance. Things get better inside. The apartment was clean and nice. The pool looked nice although we didn’t use it. Ps invest in a set of drinking glasses.

Ocatillo Lodge - Palm Springs

Well kept property. Very spacious and bed was super comfortable. Lodge was closed for renovation but exercise room had been relocated and was good. Walking distance to grocery store and some good restaurants. The unit is just off E Palm Canyon, the main drag so pretty noisy unitl 11pm. If you are not use to noise, bring earplugs. I would stay here again.

Great location, nice lodgings, minor grievances

Overall this place was a good place to stay. Great location! Close to downtown. Great neighborhood. I would stay here again but did have a few minor grievances. This apartment is close to the main road in this complex, so if you are a light sleeper you might be woken up early in the morning by road noise. Each morning we were there, someone was cleaning the grounds with a blower at 7am! Lastly, the blinds do not block out much light. The sun rose early and so did we because of that! Although, that let us have an early start to our great hikes in the area. LOL Check in (and check out) process was easy. The grounds and pool were well maintained. The review process does not allow for giving out 1/2 stars. Overall I would rate this place as a 4.5 due to the minor issues we encountered. But as I stated before, I would stay here again despite the minor issues. For the time we were there it was well worth the money!

Veteran's Day Getaway

We always enjoy staying at this property. The location is great, we love the pool and we have met some really nice people in our visits there. This is the perfect spot for us.

Cool vibe.. not great!

We were greeted by the owner’s property manager. He was very helpful. The unit was well equipped. Bathroom was recently remodeled and very nice. We had a plumbing leak just outside the unit on the patio, couldn’t get fixed for 2 weeks, so the patio was soaked, started coming under the windows in the bedroom. PS it was a hot water leak! Takes forever to get hot water, so had to waste water.. it’s the desert! Electrical problems, so we had to move the fridge where an outlet had power. Owner told us just prior to our stay that there would be minor construction to “replace a beam”.. It was construction zone central, unbelievably noisy for 2+weeks. They had to replace the entire concrete deck above our unit. The patio windows don’t seal well and directly face the highway, so very loud traffic noise! We thought early on we would wish to stay here again, but that was only because the pool area and the people were great! We had no idea what was in store for us over the 10 week stay. All the amenities were shut down, fitness area, common room due to toxic hazards. They say “iconic mid-century modernism”.. we call it old and in dire need of many repairs. We will winter in beautiful PS again, but not here.

Swim meet weekend

This was the perfect little spot for my daughter and I to stay for her swim meet. We were able to cook in the morning before the meet. Only a 6 minute drive to the pool.

Super clean and great location

I’ve stayed here multiple times and Andy has always been great with communication and keeps a very clean place. Comes with all the amenities we needed for our stay. Check in and parking was a breeze. We can’t wait to come back in the spring.

Stay at Palm Springs

The apartment was not as shown in the photos but it was well equipped for all that is needed re the kitchen etc. We give it 3 stars for cleanliness due to the Garden area had not been cleaned and the garden furniture was dirty and we to clean it to enable us to sit out there also needed a good overall sweep up. apart from that issue the apartment and pool area was nice for a holiday just a pity we could not use the gym as it was closed due to a Roof problem. Ric was very polite and helpful.

Enjoyable stay

The property was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, well equipped and located. Check in was quick and efficient. I appreciated the provision of all basic items such as tea, coffeee, sugar, salt pepper etc, bathroom items such as shampoo and shower gel. Air conditioning was very efficient, a big plus in Palm Springs. Only minor observation was that the traffic from East Palm Highway could be a little noisy.

Love Palm Springs

An ideal place to stay. While there was street noise during the day, we weren't there much then anyway. Night time was not s much a problem as I thought it would be. The unit was clean, handy to downtown and the interior courtyard/pool was lovely. We did have to run an extension cord for my wife's CPAP machine, but that was not a problem. Communication with Andy and Ricardo was easy and pleasant. I would recommend Ocotillo Lodge for a stay in Palm Springs.

Ocotillo Lodge stay

It was our first time staying at Ocotillo Lodge, and it was very comfortable. I use a CPAP machine, so I an extension cord from the middle of the bed room would have been a good thing as there were no outlets near the bed stand. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the Jacuzzi, but we are looking forward to the next time that we come where it will be warm enough to take it vantage of the pool and the Jacuzzi. Thanks for a great day.

Love Palm Springs & love the architecture and history of the Ocotillo Lodge. Really enjoy the floor to ceiling windows in our apartment - makes you feel closer to the outdoors!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The condo is on the main floor, and close to parking, so access is easy. The private patio is a lovely place to relax if you don't want to be out by the pool.
Downtown Palm Springs is just a short distance away, and Smoke Tree Commons shopping area is just a couple of blocks down the street, great for groceries and snacks.
