About this property

Brazos River Retreat

Newly renovated, with all new appliances and furnishings! This 3BR, 2 BA home has 2 king beds and is located directly on the Brazos River. With river access right out the back door, you can fish, swim or kayak. Bring your own boat for sailgating or relax under the twinkle lights on the large deck with seating/dining for up to 12. The spacious backyard boasts a new gas grill and a fire pit! This location is a short 15 minute drive to the Silos, Baylor University, and so much more.

This is a private home, so you have access to everything except the owners closet.

Life jackets and beach towels are provided. There is a child's kayak and also a two person inflatable kayak in the shed.

If you are staying with us on the Thursday, we kindly ask that you set the trash bins at the street for pick up Friday morning.

Excellent Family Vacation Spot

My husband, two kids and their families stayed over Easter weekend and it was fabulous. The house was very roomy and comfortable. The outside space had an awesome deck with lots of seating. The yard as huge and there were games in the shed to play with. We also swam off the dock. The weather was perfect so we spent a lot of time outside. Would definitely rent again.

Very nice house in quiet neighborhood.

Very nice house located right on Brazos river. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every day. Lots to do in the area. Would love to come back during warmer weather to enjoy the deck, yard and river. Very clean, owner was very quick to respond when the door code wouldn’t work. Lots of small touches that were very much appreciated.

Girlfriend Weekend

Five ladies enjoying our annual weekend together. The house was lovely and very comfortable. The elevation from house to river is not depicted in the description or photos. It was very quiet and peaceful.We had a nice time.

Girls weekend

Great waterfront spot! Very clean and just what we were looking for. Loved the patio for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Neighbor’s dog was the only complaint waking us up very early but that can’t always be helped by owner.

Perfect family retreat

The indoor and outdoor spaces were perfect for gathering and relaxing. Everything was well equipped. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and extremely accommodating- offering to leave some of their own family yard games for us to enjoy. The river at the property location was fairly shallow- less than five feet- but fine for cooling off. The kayak and floats were a nice addition. Though for anyone looking to truly enjoy the water- I highly recommend a day trip to lake Whitney for swimming and cliff jumping… deep, cool, clean water with no entry fee.

Great place on the river

Wonderful little house, right on the river. Beautiful backyard and very well kept home. My only dislike was the beds - they were very firm for my taste, but I know that is a very subjective thing, and I have been known to be a bit of a bed snob. Wouldn't keep us from returning if were ever in Waco again.

Family Yearly Summer Vacation

Beautiful, cozy and welcoming home. The backyard and dock were absolutely breathtaking and perfect! Days of fishing with my boys, their girlfriends and hubby were just right. The deck was perfect for evening dinners and we enjoyed watching the rain pour from there. The whole place made it so hard to leave. Peaceful, beautiful and just right for our family. Hosts were so kind. Thank you for the M&M’s!! Cute little detail.

Amazing Place to Stay!

Very good communication, property located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Rear deck overlooking the river is very nice, with tons of seating. Deck down by the water is also nice. Proximity to downtown, Magnolia, Dr. Pepper Museum, and Baylor University is only 10-15 minutes. House is well stocked with dishes, linens, etc. Beds are very comfortable, all were very clean. Entire house was very clean, and the A/C works very well. Would stay here again for sure!

Great communication and property

The owners keep this house in very good shape. The property has Ana amazing view of the river. The have a great dock to fish and enjoy the river. Beds were very comfy and the house had everything we needed. I strongly suggest staying here. Downtown waco was a very short drive.

Waco

It was a beautiful property, but all the rain from the previous day prevented us from enjoying the outdoors which was a bit disappointing but that’s Mother Nature. The dock was under water, the river was flowing too fast and the cushions in the bin were soaked, so we spent the day in Waco instead and enjoyed our time. The inside of the house was nicely decorated. We enjoyed the large dining room table for games. The beds were a little hard for our liking and we thought the room with the bunk beds had 2 twins and a queen but it was one twin above the queen. Since we were all adults, the shortest one chose the couch instead of climbing the ladder to the top bunk so it all worked out. M&Ms were a nice treat!

Wonderful Riverfront Getaway

We recently spent an amazing three-day stay at this Vrbo vacation rental over Memorial Day weekend, and it couldn't have been more perfect! The property is right on the river, providing beautiful views and easy access to water activities. We spent most of our time simply relaxing in the river. The peaceful and scenic environment made for a truly memorable holiday. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a home away from home. The spacious layout and modern amenities made our stay incredibly comfortable. A special thank you to the owners for their exceptional hospitality. They went above and beyond by taking in our groceries when they were delivered earlier than expected. This thoughtful gesture made our arrival stress-free and allowed us to dive right into our vacation. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable riverfront retreat. We can't wait to return!

Unique Location on Brazos Close to BU Stadium

The neighborhood is a rare gem. Large lots in the Brazos. Feel like your in the country, but only minutes from campus. We will stay here again.

LOVE this place.

It was awesome. Everything is shaded and beautiful. It is right on the river, and was breezy and peaceful. The house was SUPER clean and had everything anyone could need. Owners were quick to reply when we had a question. Close to attractions in Waco...this place had it all. We are already planning our return visit.

Absolutely perfect

This place is AMAZING. Perfect place to have loved ones gather or just relax by yourself. The check in process was so easy, with smart coded lock. House was warm and welcoming upon entrance. The furnishings were warm, comfortable and so stylish. Thoughtful touches of games and blankets were available as well to make our stay more warm and entertaining. Outdoor was unbelievable. The covered patio, bbq and seating was beyond ample and accommodating. The view of the River was beautiful. The grounds were so perfect for playing, slip n slides and more. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you M&M. You helped make our father's day that included 4 generations, absolutely perfect!
