This top-of-the-line, sun-drenched, ground-level villa is waiting to make your vacation complete. The finest secure oceanside villa complex on South Forest Beach. The open floor plan with nine-foot ceilings allows for a very comfortable living area. Sliders from the living room and master bedroom lead to your patio, the pool, and the ocean.

The living room has sleeper sofas, 42-inch flat-screen TV, and Blu-ray/DVD player. The master bedroom with new king bed includes a private master bath with large walk-in shower and double sinks, and a 26-inch flat-screen TV/DVD combination. The guest bedroom with new queen bed includes a twin bed and a 26-inch flat screen TV/DVD. The second bath has a tub/shower. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen and separate laundry room with full-size washer and dryer.

The pool area has been totally renovated and includes a seasonally heated pool, children's pool, hot tub, and private bath house.

In the heart of Hilton Head, the villa is within walking distance of morning coffee, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment at Coligny Plaza. Relax on the beach, in the pool area, on your patio, or enjoy miles of beaches and bike trails.

Can’t go wrong at the beach

We have been to Shorewood for several years now, great facility, pool was fantastic and close walk to the beach. This was our first time renting this condo, overall we had a good time. There were some issues with the condo itself, the fridge took more than a day to cool down, even after cooling it didn’t feel totally cold ever. The fire alarm went off randomly at 5am one morning. The vacuum did not work very well which made it hard to clean up, there were lots of tiny bugs around which was more annoying since the vacuum didn’t work very well. Overall these things did not effect our week, we had a great time at the pool and the beach and will be back to Shorewood next week- just in a different condo.

Clean and close to everything

We had an amazing stay! The condo is clean and well-appointed for any length of beach stay. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. Our 2-year old loved watching the march rabbits and deer on the property. Highly recommend booking here.

Enjoyable week

The villa was exactly as pictured and advertised. Deb was quick to respond to nessages during the booking process and also during our stay. The layout of the rooms was perfect for my teenagers to come and go with ease. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils (pots, pans, bowls, silverware, etc).The beach access was so close, just beyond the pool. The Shorewood property is gated, as well as the beach access, for safety and security. My family loved being on the ground floor and so close to the beach and pool!

A piece of paradise & a gracious host!

We cannot say enough good things about this oasis. The location was perfect and close to all the shops. It was clean and spacious, with a beautiful, short walk to the beach. Deb was the most wonderful host we could have ever asked for and answered. She truly is what made our stay so special.

The condo was beautiful. It was the perfect location to the beach. We could walk right out of the back door and walk straight to the pool or walkway to the beach. Our family enjoyed our two week stay at 217 Shorewood. The Villa was very clean, the kitchen well stocked and the beds very comfortable. The condo is very spacious and well appointed. It definitely meet our needs. Deb checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. This condo was very clean and we'll appointed. Close to the huge pool and just a few steps farther to the beach. A short walk to Coligny Circle. Deb contacted us mid week to make sure all was well. I highly recommend this unit. Ground floor was an added bonus, no stairs!

Perfect spot for families

Stayed with 4 adults and two kids under 4. This is a perfect location for a family vacation. The unit layout is very functional, bigger than the pictures look and the kitchen is fully stocked with flatware and cookware should you be cooking in the unit. The pool area is large and newer with plenty of chairs and space, as well as ocean side which is a nice bonus. The short walk to the beach is nicely manicured with boardwalk and beach mat through the dunes. Easy walking distance to Coligny and a short drive to anywhere else on the island. The owner was easy to communicate with and checked in mid week to make sure everything with the unit was ok. We definitely would book this spot again!

Great place for a great family vacation

We had a great time at this property for my family if 6. With the sofa beds, each of my kids had their own bed. We loved being on the ground level so the kids could walk out the back door to the pool. If we decide to come back to Hilton Head for another vacation, so would not hesitate to rent here again. Deb, the manager was great to answer all my questions.

Marvelous May stay and vacation

This was our second time in HH and this time and place made it even better than the first. The condo was perfectly located on the beach and near Cologny. Easy in and out with our bikes. Car rides were close proximity to everything too! The pool was top notch and its setup allowed us to meet some nice people while there relaxing. Cologne. The condo itself was spacious and clean, beds comfortable and well stocked. Deb was great to communicate with and checked on us during the week. We can't wait to come back again and we will be coming back again soon!

Hilton Head has been our home away from our Vienna, VA home since family members retired there in 1993. We were immediately taken aback by the sense of community, how accessible everything is, and how relatively private the beaches are.

There are activities for people of all ages. Beautiful beaches, restaurants, golf and tennis, miniature golf, bike paths, and kayaking.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this villa because of its location, proximity to the ocean, and because it has a great pool area. The ability to drive up to the front door makes for easy access. This upscale villa is full of light with floor-to-ceiling sliders in the living room and master bedroom. It is also walking distance to Coligny Plaza, a great combination of morning coffee, shopping, and restaurants.
