This circa 1940 story and half house is a NON-SMOKING property located in a quiet residential neighborhood with off street parking , outdoor security camera and EV charging available.
The 3 season room, which is a favorite, is perfect for morning coffee or an evening night cap! Newly remodeled kitchen & bath. Perfect for 2 guests but can accommodate up to four.
Extra bathroom amenities include a heated ceiling fan and towel bar warmer.
We are blocks from St.Feriole Island and the historic Villa Louis and Dousman House. It’s a short distance to downtown for shopping and dining.

The Place to Stay in Prairie Du Chien

Wonderful little house for cozy stay. Clean and comfortable. Had all the amenities you would expect to find in a quality hotel. Quite neighborhood except for an occasional train passing through on the tracks a block or two away.

My friends and I were very pleased with this home! It was stocked with everything we needed and very clean. It was a short distance to downtown Prarie Du Chen making our stay even better! I would definitely stay here again!

Great value, well renovated.

Close by to Mississippi River scenery and parks. We were very appreciative of such a nice, cute, well renovated place. We were grateful it was also dog friendly. Thanks to our host!

The property/home was exactly as stated. Very clean. Easy to communicate with owner. We loved having breakfast in the sun room. Located within easy access of all the places we visited. Highly recommend this location.

Stayed 3 nights in Prairie du Chien. The house was very nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. There is a 3 season porch which we loved...where we had our morning coffee and breakfast. We would stay there again

We had a wonderful stay at the Harwood House. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. We appreciated all of the extra touches that the hosts provided. The kitchen was well-stocked and we enjoyed the 3-season room. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was super great, the only thing is that the pillows were quite uncomfortable. Otherwise it was super cute, clean and convenient!

A comfortable well appointed house in a perfect location many activities.

We had a great 3 night with our dog at Harwood House while enjoying the state parks on both sides of the river and the Effigy Mounds National Monument. We were also able to walk to downtown Prairie Du Chien as well as the very interesting St. Feriole Island Park and the Mississippi River. The house was perfect for us and exceeded all expectations.

Wonderful stay

We stayed 3 nights, and had a great time. Everything was as described in the listing. The sun porch was nice, and really loved the coffee bar. We stayed when it was very warm for this time of year and the upstairs window air conditioner was a life (sleep) saver! Don't hesitate to book this property.
