Fiber internet is available for work or streaming your favorite movies. El Osito guests enjoy access to the Angel Fire greenbelt trail system for endless hiking and biking opportunities. This home is also a short walk to Monte Verde Lake for boating and fishing and just a short drive to the golf course and ski/bike mountain!

Spring Break

My family and I had a great time at this cabin. It was stocked with games and puzzles for the kids to enjoy. We also really loved the wood-burning fireplace and got to enjoy some snowfall which was magical! Overall, we agreed that we would visit again and really enjoyed the cabin. Perfect Getaway

Great scenic drive in through Angel Fire to the cabin. The snow scene was picture perfect from the oversized windows of the cabin. We were setup with all the necessary amenities to keep cozy warm, bellies full and drinks hot/cold.No matter how cold, get your hot tub experience. Two thumbs up.The Mon Chateau and Pendleton blankets made this experience as luxe as possible. Ready for a summer stay!

Family getaway

My family and i decided to go on a quick getaway for the weekend and this cabin was perfect. Plenty of space and also pet friendly, what more do i need to say. The owners were the best part, very complimentary and available for all needs. We will definitely love to stay again.

Rest at Osito

Very cute mountain home with an awesome outside deck. Morning coffee with the hummingbirds is always great. The location is perfect, halfway between Angel Fire Resort golf course and Lake Monte Verde. We can’t wait to come back.

Great Place

This was a very nice and comfortable place to stay! Had everything we need for our stay and was not very far from other activities we had planned on our trip. The owners were very friendly and provided us with lots of information about activities in the area! We definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing home for families!

Our stay in Angel Fire was absolutely incredible! The home was beautiful—cozy, well-appointed, and perfectly located for a peaceful mountain getaway. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were exceptionally kind and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, allowing us to settle in and enjoy our time without any hassle.Our family, including our pup, absolutely adored this home! The space was welcoming and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities we could ask for. Whether we were relaxing by the fireplace, enjoying the hot tub, or exploring the nearby trails, every moment was perfect. We can’t recommend this home enough and would love to return for another stay!

Great cabin

This cabin was very well appointed with all the amenities anyone could need. It is a nice mixture between older cabin and updated modern which i thought was pretty cool. The big windows in the living and kitchen area are great for checking out all the deer visitors in the morning. The deck and hot tub were great. We are looking forward to checking this out again in the winter time!

Mountain Retreat

My sister and brother in law stayed here with me. We were on our way to Durango but had a few extra days to kill. The cabin was very nicely appointed, had a well stocked kitchen, the main living area had abundant window all the way around 270 degrees for great views from inside and the balcony was awesome. We didn't use the hot tub, but only because we didn't bring swim wear-we did look in it and it was super clean! The weather was amazing! If I go back to AF, I will definitely try to rent this same place! Valerie was very responsive to any and all communication!

60th birthday trip

We came out because I love this part of New Mexico. I got to use my 60th birthday to bring all 4 of us. The cabin and location was perfect, a very short distance to the lake and golf course. Very nice hiking/leisurely stroll throughout the area. We spent all of our days out and about. The cabin was a great place to come home too. This summer was unusually warm but it still cooled down to needing a blanket in the morning. We will definitely be back.

Peaceful Retreat

Cabin was perfect for our week of mountain biking at Angel Fire. Cabin has all needed amenities in a tranquil setting. We thoroughly enjoyed the 180 degree window views and deck seating that allowed for plenty of wildlife spotting including several deer and a bobcat. Hot tub was a big hit for my wife. Basket of tennis balls was a bigger hit for our two dogs. The setting is phenomenal, tucked just far enough from Highway to avoid traffic noise while also only 5 minutes to grocery store. Will book again if available for our next Angel Fire trip!

Family escape to cool weather

Angel Fire was a wonderful family trip to escape the 100+ temperatures in Texas. The hosts were amazing and extremely responsive to any questions/inquiries we had. Valerie knew we enjoyed pickle ball and found courts for us (Country Club for a fee or the Community Center for free. Both require you bring your own paddles). Our 3 adult children (early 20s) joined us and also loved the property. Played lots of board games and enjoyed the large deck off the front of house. We ate all our meals outside it was so nice. Hiking from the neighborhood was super easy - recommend the Cougar trail. While all the adults had a relaxing and fun vacation, our dogs were in absolute heaven!!! Would highly recommend the property, and the hosts were great!

Val grew up in Albuquerque and longed for a mountain getaway to enjoy hosting family and friends. We look forward to hosting your family and friends and making El Osito your home away from home!

El Osito Cabin guests enjoy the privacy and enjoyment of a mountain home that has both the comforts and modern amenities guests expect. The home feels secluded but is only a mile from lake activities, 1.4 miles from the golf course and country club and 3.7 miles to the ski/bike resort.

Valerie and Mark own the home and want to create a home away from home with guests that will want to return regularly for visits. They enjoy helping guests plan their vacation and activities in the area. There is a trustworthy and capable crew of long-term support to help manage and maintain the property.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Cabin in on a private wooded acre. The large deck includes a cedar Nordic hot tub (seats 6), propane fire pit, Weber propane grill and ample seating for al fresco dining.

The interior has an open floor plan with panoramic windows for taking in the view and wildlife. Our guests have seen wild turkeys, elk, deer, bears, chipmunks, black-billed magpies, geese, hummingbirds and more!

Home includes fast fiber internet and two dedicated workspaces as well as 3 smart TVs, Ms. Pac-Man (includes DigDug & more) and a telescope.

The wood burning stove and the sleds are also winter favorites at the cabin.

Guests enjoy the privacy and wonder of the mountains without sacrificing convenience to all the other attractions in Angel Fire.
