This is a very comfortable little home -- perfect for a family of 3 or 4. It sits right on a beautiful stream and nothing but nature on the other side. Everything you need, in terms of cookware, spices, coffee, supplies, toiletries, games, odds and ends can be easily found. Check-in process, and house information and local tips are provided by text and helpful notes in the home. And any other info or advice you may need is just a text or call away to the owner who responds with the care that makes you feel well taken care of. We enjoyed it once before and returned for another wonderful and peaceful stay.
Stayed 3 nights with my husband and our good friend. The boys went fishing and were very pleased to have such easy and wonderful access to the Beaverkill, and I enjoyed the beautiful views and peace and quiet. The cottage was well kept and had everything we needed. Can't wait to visit again.
I was in the area on strictly a fishing trip. Location was good to fish several different rivers in close proximity. Being right on the water at Cemetery Pool was on the Beaver Kill was a bonus
Had a wonderful stay and the property and location were very private and quiet. Just what we were looking for. Had a great stay and will be back again.
My wife and I stayed at the cabin the last week of August, the cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything you needed.Jodie Anne was the perfect host, very peaceful and relaxing sitting on the deck listening to the river.
This Western Catskills river cabin is truly special. I stayed with my wife and daughter over an August weekend and it was just perfect for our small family. Before we even arrived the host reached out with helpful information and was responsive to any queries. We arrived late at night after a difficult drive and were gratified to find ourselves in an absolutely clean and cozy home with lots of personal touches and comforts. It is a small cabin, but really has plenty of room and beds to comfortably accommodate a family of 3-4 (even 5). From spices and coffees, towels and toiletries to a hammock and BBQ, the place had everything we needed. We discovered the true magic the next morning when we awoke to a breathtaking view through the kitchen windows of the Beaverkill River with the lush green of the undeveloped woods on the other side. It got even better as we stepped out onto the deck sitting right above the river. We sat with our coffee watching the morning light reflected off the rippling waters, listening to the rolling currents and enjoying the birds begin their day with us. Any time of the day the river is always there offering its peaceful sights and sounds as you read a book, sit with your family or cook a meal. The surrounding area is full of wonderful Catskills hikes and history. In both her actions and personal touches it is clear this is a host who cares about your stay and has pride and affection for her home. An absolute winner!
