Waterlily is located on a mooring next to Fort Adams State Park is exclusively yours to stay on or for small social gatherings! The cabin has an open floor plan with lots of windows which allows plenty of sea breezes. Take in beautiful views of mansions on rolling greens and boats sailing by on the glistening water from any of the four decks. Swim off the houseboat into the invigorating, salt water then soak up the sun and star gaze at night! Guests must take the water taxi to get on board, to go to shore or to downtown. Its a scenic, short ride across the harbor, like a mini tour! The rate is $4.00 per person per ride (rates may change)
While staying on board we ask our guests to be very conservative with the use of water. It's part of boat living but well worth it! For showers there is cool water. There are solor bladders outside which are heated by the sun for a quick warm water rinse. No cooking is allowed but who wants to cook while on vacation anyway? We suggest bringing picnic style foods to enjoy. There is a coffee maker for guests to use. Also, there are solor lights that light up the houseboat nicely at night. Waterlily, is a comfortable, simplistic, summer escape to be treasured from our family to yours!

It was beautiful to be out in the Newport Harbor. There was so much activity on the water during the day and so peaceful at night.

We love the water/ocean/bay. So, first time staying right on the water for us. It was a fun, memorable, and unique experience. Really enjoyed the outdoor living space with great views of the sky, boats and water with and without binoculars. Danielle is an amazing host.
We were welcome by Danielle on the boat that was clean and ready for us! Bed linens, paper towels, paper plates, plastic cups are all there for our use, which was great! Sleeping on the boat as a dream! Jumping off the back and swimming is even better! 5 star recommend!
My husband and I went for a weekend and could not have enjoyed our stay more. Getting to and from the boat by the water taxi was super easy and a nice way to get around. Danielle met us on the boat to show us the ropes. Took about 10 min to get downtown by the water taxi- was nice not to worry about parking downtown! We spent our nights relaxing on the boat enjoying the beautiful views. We definitely plan on returning again!
