The HVAC heats in winter and cools in summer. Patio table and chairs just a step away from a trickling mountain stream and bamboo forest. Fire pit with seating. Walk a few steps to a large, natural pond with dock. Watch wild turkeys and mallard ducks in their natural habitat. This delightful cottage consists of a queen size bed, flat screen cable TV, wireless internet, hardwood flooring, vaulted ceiling with sky light and ceiling fan.

Anniversary Trip

Loved our stay in this beautiful tiny home! I did not realize we would be directly next to the owners and would have preferred a bit more privacy but that did not interfere with our stay in anyway.

Hidden Gem

We stayed 4 fantastic nights in the Cozy Cottage. The place is adorable! Tucked away at the end of the road, it is quiet and welcoming. Patty and her family were so very helpful with ideas for us during our stay. Every evening after a day of fun, we came home to a happy Buddy doggie! Wagging his tail and waiting for a pat on the head! If you are not a dog person, it is ok. He is up on the porch. If you are a dog person, you can reach in and give him a belly rub! We loved our stay! Thank you so much Patty!

Cozy Cottage lives up to its name!

My husband and I had a delightful stay at Cozy Cottage. Patty is a lively host, and Buddy the dog offered us a friendly greeting every time we came home. The cottage itself is adjacent to Patty’s house but there is a privacy fence between the porches, and we absolutely felt like we had our own space. Everything was clean and tidy, and while the bed wasn’t perfect (as other reviews have noted) we still slept comfortably. The neighborhood is quiet and secluded, and a great location for exploring downtown Asheville or hiking in nearby Pisgah National Forest. We would absolutely stay here again.

Asheville Trip

We had a great visit to Asheville for a few days away. This VRBO is conveniently located to downtown. We hiked, ate, visited the breweries and had a great time. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing I would mention is you are very close the hosts private home. If you are looking for privacy this probably isn’t the place for you. Overall, it was a great stay.

Peaceful and private

Tucked away on a quiet hillside, this tiny cottage was so peaceful and had the best water straight from the tap, and we enjoyed a lot of it! It was very clean and we it had about everything we needed to stay a few days. Great Wi-Fi, nice tv, encouraged recycling. The stone steps up to the cottage were beautiful but only for the sure footed. Buddy, the dog, was a friendly greeter, but was always a fence between us. We really liked Buddy!

Loved the property. The location was beautiful and quiet. The owner was friendly but not in your face all the time. Buddy the dog was friendly and a sweetheart. The only improvement I can think of is a slightly bigger bed would have been better. I believe it’s a full size and a queen would have worked better.

Everything I wanted

This stay was so lovely! The cabin was very charming and sweet. It came equipped with enough supplies to cook, make coffee, some books & it had a mini fridge. I run cold and was worried about staying in a cabin but the temperature was self controlled & the insulation was surprisingly great! The porch onto the pond was such a beautiful site.The host’s dog greeted me every time I came on and off the property. This was a 10 minute drive to town also. It was truly a magical stay, and the host was sweet but not overbearing, even though she lives on the property, and there’s another cabin to rent on the land but I still got the tranquility and solitude I needed. I’d definitely book again.

Cozy and quaint stay!

We had a wonderful time and experience at the Cozy Cottage! It was perfect for what we needed, and was secluded enough while also being close to all areas of the city. Buddy the dog was also a nice and gentle welcomer!

Cozy place, however the mattress needs to be replaced. It was uncomfortable and had two distinct craters in it. Would suggest the stone steps going up to the cottage from the parking area be updated for safety reasons. It is pretty, but uneven. The host Patti and her sweet dog, Buddy, were friendly. Close to Asheville downtown, Blue Ridge Parkway, River Arts District, etc. Loved this area!

Amazing Time in Asheville!

Hey Buddy!

Cute little house off Patty’s porch. Greetings and belly rubs from Buddy the dog were a highlight! Patty was super friendly and ready with recommendations of restaurants and breweries. Local pottery for sale inside the cottage was very cool. Will definitely stay here again!

Okay for a short stay

The cottage is cute and in a lovely setting. Everything was clean and inviting. The distance from town was just right if you’re looking for a place that is not downtown. A nearby Ingles grocery is handy. However, even with just the two of us we found the cottage a little cramped. The small kitchen area is okay for snacks but not for cooking a meal. As an older couple we’ve decided a queen bed is not for us so in the future we will stay only where there is a king bed. But most of all, the stone steps leading up to the cottage were tricky to navigate and not easy to do at night.

Wonderful cottage

This was our second time staying at a property with this owner, and once again we were not disappointed. I cannot recommend the cozy cottage enough. It is absolutely perfect for for a quiet getaway. We will be back soon!

Wonderful Getaway

This was a nice little place to stay. Great location, close to downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate, and lots of affordable, good dining. Our place was a cute little villa, the property manager, Patty was very pleasant, her dog, Buddy was sweet and friendly. Next time we visit Asheville, NC we would definitely stay at Cozy Cottages.

Owner lives in detached house on premises.
This is such a beautiful area where my children and I did a lot of camping when they were small. One of my sons settled here after going to UNCA where he met his wife.
He found this property for me, and I bought it just from seeing the photos. There was a small house and two out buildings that he completely rebuilt, and since I love making a warm and welcoming home I decided to rent the 2 out buildings for weekend vacationers.

Property is in a very unique area with a mountain stream, natural pond nestled in a secluded forest, yet minutes away from thriving downtown Asheville and Biltmore Estate.
A dock over the pond, deck surrounding the cabin, and fireside seats and benches provide quaint comfort to enjoy the views and bask in the beauty of the inspiring Blue Ridge Mountains. There is so much tranquility here and yet you are only minutes from downtown Asheville.

What makes this property unique

I knew I had made the right decision to retire here from the first time I stepped onto the property. It just felt like the home I had always dreamed of.
