I will have to say the house is in a neat area of town. It is a big house had plenty of room. It is old and has some wear and tear. But nice to stay at. What could be improved it there was only 4 chairs for the table. The tv did not work. No internet. There was two folding chair one was good and one was broken. For my family we did go to the hose to have a place to stay in the evening but most of our vacation was suppose to be outside. And like every one we had the rain from the hurricane hit so then we were acrabbling for things to do. So having little ones with very few toys the tv not working where they could watch something and not having interent were we could stream on our ipads made it tough. Also not having enough chairs to sit and eat together was annoying. But for the most part it was a great stay . is alot of things close by to do things close do.

Stay away/Read the Yelp,Google & Facebook reviews first! / Filthy!

0 STARS, Pictures are misleading,VRBO doesn't allow unlimited characters to write a review, the condensed version: We booked May 9-12. At check in I messaged host re; the house being 86° waited 2 hours for a less than helpful reply. The next day I messaged again addressing the:ants on counters & in our food, & the general uncleanliness of the home. No reply until 7 hours later asking for photos of the "issues that I raised" I sent them the next day with additional concerns,the yard & brick walkway were unkempt with overgrown weeds,the walkway was uneven and a trip hazard, the horrible smell in the home, moldy shower curtain,dirty stained tub, filthy stained carpeting on the stairs, no access to washer & dryer, as stated in the listing. Shower curtain surround that was broken & was fastened with duct tape to keep it from falling, dirty register vents. I immediately received a reply of "please leave my property immediately", "you are no longer welcome" I stated that I would be contacting VRBO, & he replied "Go ahead. And you can leave as you are doing so". " I will refund you remaining days". VRBO also told us to leave,not wanting a trespassing charge, we left, I inquired about our 1 day refund from the host, and was told " I assumed you stayed,so there will be no refund". I have a hotel receipt, The host has done this before, you complain, he tells you to leave, & keeps your money. Read the reviews, I wish I had before I booked this nightmare.

Great location that's about it

The entire house needs a major overhaul, floors and windows were filthy, walls in upstairs bathroom are crumbling and furniture is falling apart. The front legs on the chair to the left of the fireplace are broken which is dangerous! There is not enough seating for the 9 adults to sit around the dining room table. The blinds above the kitchen sink were filthy and falling apart. Parking is an issue too. The only saving grace was that it was relatively inexpensive and in a great location.
