Dit huis is geweldig voor evenementen USAFA, meergezinsvakanties, familiebijeenkomsten, bruiloften, zakelijke retraites en meer. Het huis bevat volledige Arcade Games, tafeltennistafel, tafelvoetbal, Xbox, sjoelbak, bubbelbad, fitnessapparatuur, bordspellen, filmbibliotheek, kinderspeelgoed en leesbibliotheek. Er zijn 5 tv's en 3 dvd-spelers in huis.

De gastronomische keuken is volledig uitgerust met Keurig-koffiezetapparaat, 12-kop koffiezetapparaat, 4-slice broodrooster, ingebouwde oven en magnetron, specerijen, kleine apparaten in overvloed, crock-pots, bakvormen en plaatsinstellingen voor 20+.

Ons huis heeft een grote grote kamer met een panoramisch uitzicht op de bergen! Het ligt in een rustige woonwijk en op ongeveer 6 km van de South Gate van de Air Force Academy. De woning omvat: elke kamer heeft uitzicht op de bergen, 3 afgelegen dekken, grote barbecue, twee terrastafels, gashaard, centrale airconditioning / verwarming en Wi-Fi. Er is een extra grote eetkamer, grote zaal, bibliotheek, familiekamer en speelkamer, zodat iedereen samen kan komen of zich kan verspreiden!

Beautiful home. The neighbor deer were friendly and came up to us. House was clean and more stocked than any other home we have been to. If we came back to Colorado Springs, we would definitely book here again. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Family vacation

Well stocked, spacious and wonderful views. Plenty of room. Nice amenities such as soap, body wash, etc. host was very helpful with suggestions. I would have given it a 5 star rating if it was cleaner. Dust was very thick and food crumbs on steps and under furniture. We had to clean before letting kids crawl around. Found food pkgs and cups in the couch cushions. Kitchen and bathrooms were.clean.

Loved the outdoor decks!

Three retired couples had plenty of room to enjoy the house. The location was perfect to go to the parks to hike and take the cog wheel to Pikes Peak.

Beautiful Location

We actually held our elopement at this house on the top deck because the scenery was unbelievable. Youre close to so many touristy spots and the house is beautiful! There were 8 of us and plenty of room. We will definitely make this a regular vacation spot for our group.

Family stay during CoVID

Great home with amazing views

Had a wonderful time in this lovely home. There were 16 of us and had more than enough room. The kids loved the downstairs and the adults loved sitting on the deck. Lots to do in Colorado Springs area.

Excellent!

The house was awesome! Everything is furnished like towels, bedding, the whole entire kitchen, spices, washer / dryer and a dishwasher. The view was fantastic! There was 15 of us and there was plenty of room. The game room was excellent for our teen age Grandchildren!

Family vacation

An absolutely awesome place to stay for our family of 17 to enough a family vacation. Everything we needed, plus more. Just felt like home. The teenagers loved the game and TV room when we weren't out exploring tbe mountains. The grown-ups so enjoyed spending time on the decks visiting and taking in the view. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

Amazing

This house was amazing, 8 women stayed and there was plenty room for all of us!!! Cleaned well, and the VIEWS was amazing!!! It snowed the last night we was there, such an amazing feeling to beable to go on the balcony and see the Mountains in plain eyesight!!! We all enjoyed!! Mrs Danita was very helpful if we needed at anytime she answered and had the house warmed up for us before we arrived!!! There's a guest book inside the house and all GOOD reviews!!! 120 years of Wedded Bliss Tour

Everything was SPECTACULAR! Including the snow storm bigger than any experienced in over 25 years... We hunkered down and watched it snow....Beautiful! The house is lovely, comfy and has all the items you would need while home. We've stayed at many homes and this one is by far the most equipped. Plenty of kitchen gadgets and appliances, shampoos, soaps, tissues, etc. Clearly they have been doing this a while....be sure to look out front every morning, their are "guests" that will stop by for an apple break!

Beautiful views and close to CO Springs activities

We had a family of 13 stay (8 adults and 5 children ages 3-9). The house was a bit older, but we didn't mind that as it had all the rooms we needed, great location, and amazing views. The kitchen was well stocked and the kids loved the extra game room and the ping pong table. The only thing I didn't notice when booking was that the two upper rooms have shutter windows, so not fully closed off to the noises below. So the noise from the main level could be heard in those rooms. This was not a huge deal to us but could matter for others if you don't look closely enough. Other than that, everything was great and we enjoyed our time and fun family getaway!

2021 Family Getaway

After postponing our bi-annual family trip scheduled for July 2020 I'm so thankful we were able to keep this location. What a perfect setting for our family of 16. My husband and I were able to bring together all 6 of our kids (13, 19, 21 24, 24 and 27) along with spouses and 5 grandchdren. Everyone had plenty of privacy with ample space to come together for meals, socialization, game night and lot & lots of ping pong. The kids love waking to the deer on the front porch and hand feeding them apples. And the view from the decks was breathtaking. We had an amazing time and would love to stay here again. Great house for all ages. Wonderful location and well stocked.

Great location. The house was well stocked and the size was perfect for our 7 adults and 3 little ones. The grand kids loved the playroom. The big kids loved the deck with the hot tub and grill. The grandparents loved that all 9 of us fit at the dinning table. The house was basically clean, but the microwave malfunctioned. The owner responded quickly and told us that there was a second one in the garage that we were able to bring inside, but it was filthy. The walls are scuffed and the wood trim on the top step worried me. It looked as if it could give splinters or possibly break. Otherwise, the house was clean and from what I gathered, all beds were comfortable. We would stay here again! Thank you for sharing your house.

Shame on them

The beds were absolutely unacceptable for the sum we paid. I feel NO guilt writing this review as I’m sure they’re good people, but I felt ripped off! Not sure where these previous reviews came from, but this home can only sleep two comfortably in the King Main bedroom. That’s it. The sheets are original blood-stained, disgusting 1980’s sheets, and the beds they are including in the count are pull out mattresses from the 80’s that stick you in the back. No sun blocking curtains in the bedrooms make for a nightmarish experience if you have any intention of sleeping. Rent this for two people that sleep in the master and enjoy morning coffee on the balcony. That’s it!

A beautiful memory for a lifetime

This was the trip in which I flew in from Miami as a single woman and I left engaged! My family and friends made the experience that much more memorable. The house was extremely spacious to tend to all of our needs at the same time. We had enough space for our morning breakfasts with sufficient chairs and glassware. Everything was working properly. The only issue we had was opening the garage door. We took some time to find the button and actually use it. The views of the mountain with snow was unforgettable from the balconies. We had no issues with cleanliness. Danita was very responsive when I asked (super lateeeee) for a later check out and was so kind enough to allow it. The location was perfect and nearby a sports bar for late night grub. She had everything in a booklet of possible questions already answered. I couldn't have rented a better household.

Absolutely incredible home

This house is AWESOME . . . . probably the best vacation home our family has ever stayed in! It was very clean, had plenty of open space inside (plus three gorgeous decks outside) for our family of 14 to enjoy time together but yet had five bedrooms and four bathrooms so that we could easily have our own space as well as get ready at the same time when we wanted to go out. There is also a spacious dream kitchen with double ovens, a large pantry and refrigerator plus an extra refrigerator in the garage which came in handy for storage of groceries as we did lots of cooking. Honestly can’t think of a single appliance, piece of cookware or cooking gadget that was not there. In addition to all the sightseeing we did, our seven kiddos, ages 5-14, were absolutely amazed at being able to feed/pet the deer that frequented the yard. Then there were the little extras . . . the welcome basket in the kitchen, the binoculars in the window for taking in the views of Pike’s Peak and Garden of the Gods, etc. I could go on and on. If/when our family is back in the Colorado Springs area, we would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with our family!

Some Unexpected Issues During Stay

The house size was good for our extended family get together, plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. We had seven adults and two children ages, 13 and 10. They loved the games in the basement and also played a lot of ping pong in the garage with several of the adults. The house is located in a lovely neighborhood and the check in process was very easy. The communication with the owner was also good however, the reason we were in communication with the owner had to do with the unexpected issues during our stay. On our day of arrival we went into the house and turned on the furnace since the temperature outside was in the 30's and the inside temperature was 55. We moved the thermostat up to 68. After about two hours the furnace quit working. My wife called the owner and she said to check the breaker. We checked the breaker and all switches were still on. The owner called his brother who lived near by to come check it out. He agreed it wasn't working. The owner told us to turn on the fireplace and that they had 3 space heaters to use for the 5 bedrooms where people were staying. The repairman came around 10:30 the next morning and was there until 4:30 in the afternoon, we felt like we were being held hostage until the repairman left. The house was finally warming up to tolerable when we went to dinner. The wind was very strong that evening and when we returned from dinner it was very cold inside the house again. We figured out that a window, frame and all, had blown out and was laying on the back deck. Called the owner again and they sent a repairman, who was also a friend of the owner, to fix the window. His comment was "I tried to get them to screw the window shut when it broke last summer but they didn't want to do that since the weather was nice outside and the wanted the window open". The owner agreed with the repairman this time and allowed him to screw the window shut. After all of that everything ran smooth. We might look for a different place to stay next time.

Pictures don't do this house justice!

So when we pulled up I was nervous because this house doesn't look like what I expected in the front. But let me tell you...just open the door and you're in Colorado Heaven! The decks!!! The views!!! The house goes on and on! We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay including laundry, kitchen supplies, pillows galore and even an extra refrigerator in the garage. Our kid ages ranged from 7 to 20 and there wasn't a disappointed member in the group. There's privacy when needed, plenty of seating to be together indoors and out and did I mention the views?! I would definitely recommend this home to anyone staying in Colorado Springs. It's close to everything and in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Get-a-way in the mountains

It's located at the foothills of the mountains. I was blown away by the breath taking view of the mountains after first walking in the home. Everything was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The master bath was gorgeous! The kitchen was well organized and stocked with all needed utensils and pots and pans. There was plenty of room for the five of us to roam around. The kids loved the video game room downstairs. The owners were very helpful and pleasant. We plan to come back soon!

WONDERFUL FAMILY VACATION

The location is perfect, you are within 20 to 30 minutes of Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Pikes peak. We loved sitting on the deck and seeing Pikes Peak in the distance. The house was spacious and perfect for our grandchildren ages 1-11. The deer visited us every morning and evening and there was a cute little park about two blocks away that was perfect for getting rid of any excess energy our grandchildren may have had. It was very comfortable and we where very happy to have a dining table where we could all sit down and eat our meals together. Our host answered our question quickly . Loved Colorado Springs and would come back to this property again

Absolutely wonderful

Just want to start off by saying thank you for allowing us to rent your house out for the week!! The views are stunning from all 3 balconies 1 on 3rd floor 1 on second floor and of course the first floor. Rooms are cozy we had a wonderful time when we were at the house and not sight seeing. We got to meet all the neighborhood deer. We will definitely reserve here again when we come back and visit this beautiful state. Again thank you for you fast response and kindness!!

Great Family Getaway

We were pleased with the location and the house. The view is amazing and we really enjoyed the deer coming to the door for apples . We had more than enough room and entertainment for our family of 11.The beds were very comfortable! A few updates are needed but weren’t serious enough to warrant a call to the owners (master bedroom is very warm even with the air on or the door open, deck railings a little loose, amount of hot water for showers if you have a large family) . Overall we would stay again for the close proximity to attractions and the amazing morning view!

We moved to Colorado Springs over16 years ago and have fallen in love with all the area has to offer. We also love to travel and have a large family who enjoys vacationing together. We've experienced the dilemma of trying to book multiple hotel rooms and being spread out on different floors. So, we figured there are other families who would appreciate the no hassles of staying together in a large home. Since our work takes us away from home, we decided to offer it for use to other families in our absent months. We know you would enjoy your time spent in our home as much as we do!
