Ireland Golf Excursion

All good things to say about the cottage we stayed in and the owners Pat & Maura. They offered us breakfast while our cottage was being cleaned which was very nice! My recommendations to the owners would be to upgrade the towels, linens, pillows, and mattresses. I would also like to see paper towels in the kitchen and a box of tissues in the bathroom. The only real negative thing about the cottage is it is located near N69 and there is some road noise.

A wonderful week in Ireland

We are a retired couple on holiday from Australia. When you book accommodation from the other side of the world, you’re never quite sure as to what you’ll find. What we found was a little piece of heaven! We absolutely loved our time here. Pat and Maura were so warm with their welcome. We felt at home immediately. Our cottage was light and roomy, set up with everything that we could possibly want. It is set within a beautiful garden. We loved its location, nestled on the edge of a small village, but only a short drive from so, so many sights and attractions, and Limerick, with its shopping and supermarkets was only a 15 minute drive away. Will forever be special to us. Would very highly recommend.

A lovely cottage on the outskirts of Limerick city

Our family of five (2 adults and three kids) stayed here for 3 nights. It's only approx 25 mins drive into Limerick and was easy to find. The owner Pat welcomed us with a well stocked cottage including fresh milk and homemade buns. The cottage was spacious and well laid out. The children were pleased to have their own beds to sleep in. It's worth mentioning that the beds were very comfortable, with excellent mattresses and even electric blankets!. One thing worth noting is that as it is an old property it can get quite cold at night and we often needed to turn on the heating to keep warm. The electricity is extra and our three night stay cost us an additional €20.

SW Ireland

Make sure you request an air code for location as it would make your initial arrival so much less stressful but gets easier each time. Only 1 restaurant with bar close by but a great base for day trips for sites in Southwest Ireland.

Darling cottage, convenient to many attractions

We were 3 seniors staying in this darling cottage. It was extremely comfortable with nicely -separated bedrooms. The house was well appointed. The hosts provided lots of reading materials including about area attractions. Pat greeted us when we arrived and spent time explaining the heating, appliances, and the area.

Quaint and picturesque property

Patrick greeted us with muffins and jam even tho we arrived late. He showed us in and explained how things worked. Well stocked kitchen, and when I needed additional baking and measuring tools he was happy to provide them. Even gave us fresh herbs from his garden. The property is beautiful. Lovely grounds. We were not far to many of the islands historical sites. Nice stay, nice people. Clean accomodations.
