Apartment next to the sea, with large garden. The apartment is fully equipped with kitchen, fridge, washing machine, TV, Internet, A/C etc. It can accommodate two adults and up to two young children. The beach is with sand and peddles is ten metres away. The city centre is 800m away. From here you can also go to Gramvoussa, to Balos lagoon, to the amazing Falassarna beach, to Ancient Polyrrinia, to Elafonissi and to many other beautiful places. Kissamos apartment

Very beautiful and quiet place for a lovely holiday. The apartment was very clean and we had a change every 3 days. Everything in the listing is as described. The view was breathtaking of the beach. Owners were friendly and nothing was any trouble. Beach bar down the road had sun beds and umbrellas for €10 a set for two. We found the garden very enjoyable and the use of the sunbeds was great too. A short drive along are the restaurants which we tried and were pleased with everything but the roof top restaurant was by far the best in our opinion. Excellent service, food and view of the harbour and sunset. This property offers, peace and quiet in a stunning setting and I would recommend it.

Peaceful Retreat in Crete

Excellent time staying at these apartments! A quiet, lovely beach is right outside the property which was perfect for us. The gardens and the property as a whole is very well kept. Konstantinos was great, answered all our questions and the check-in/check-out was very easy. WiFi was a bit patchy sometimes, but no issues after restarting the router. We hired a car for travel around the area, but Konstantinos also offered to organise transport for us from the airport if we needed it. Restaurants and bars are within 15-30 minutes walk in Kissamos. There is also the Kissamos port where you can take a ferry to Balos Bay, however visiting other beaches would likely require a car. Overall, we would definitely recommend these apartments and we would stay here again!

Lovely break away at peaceful location

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Kissamos nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were so helpful and kind. The location for us was peaceful and quiet with everything that we needed closeby. A good spot for visiting Western Crete.

Holiday bliss

Our choice to book at Vassos 3 was an excellent one. Right on the beach, not too far from town, quiet and very relaxing. Booking was straightforward throughout the whole process. When we arrived Minas was on hand if we needed anything. Thank you for patiently answering our questions. Our room was excellent, linens changed regularly, bed comfortable and views breathtaking. We found car hire very useful to get around to the wonderful local restaurants and beaches and would recommend this. A great property to stay in if you want to be in the Kissamos area.

Delightful Beachfront Apartment & Good base for Ex

19-27 May 2016 We had the pleasure of staying at the Waterfront Apartments last month and had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment was ideally situated, being only 50 metres from the sea, which was perfect for a lovely morning dip. Even at weekends the beach was quiet and long enough to probably accommodate even the high season influx. We had hired a car and the apartment was well located for easy access to the main road out of Kissamos for exploring the west of the Island. Kissamos town centre and the promenade restaurants are only a 10-15 minute walk away. In the other direction along the beach there is a beach bar that did not seem to be operating yet and a little further on Mesogios which has a bar, restaurant and swimming pool which they allowed us to use even though we were not residents. The apartment itself was very modern, comfortable, spacious and tastefully furnished with a large sea facing balcony and probably the best shower we have come across in Crete. Servicing the apartment was done every 3 days with fresh sheets and towels provided. There was ample parking for residents vehicles. Wifi was available although patchy at times..but that's Crete :) The kitchen area was smart and clean and contained a full size oven with 4 ring hob you were however somewhat limited to just basic dishes due to the utensils provided. A special request for extra pillows was sorted out immediately by Vasso and we had no doubt that if we were to make any other requests they would be attended to with the same response. For those who like a rural location there is ongoing entertainment provided by the goats, sheep and other farm animals in the next door properties. The balcony was a great spot to sit and watch the ships, boats, wildbirds and other activities that took place and to chat with the other residents. Minas, Vasso and their son Konstandino were very welcoming, accommodating and helpful with suggestions and recommendations for excursions and places to eat. Unfortunately, due to us booking late, Minas was only able to accommodate us for 2/3 of our stay but was kind enough to arrange somewhere very close by where we spent the last few nights which we also enjoyed. When we revisit Kissamos we would certainly like to stay at the Waterfront Apartments again and would highly recommend it to other visitors.

Perfect place to chill out

Bella casa proprio davanti al mare! Ti puoi addormentare con il rumore delle onde. L appartamento scelto da noi era molto spazioso, accogliente e dotato di tutto il necessario. Konstantinos è un host attento, molto responsivo ed estremamente disponibile. Pulizia accurata. Meglio avere un mezzo proprio per raggiungere il centro, ma non indispensabile: gestibile anche a piedi.

Die Seele baumeln lassen

Eine schöne Ferienwohnung mit einer wahnsinnigen Aussicht. Der Blick ist unbezahlbar. Man kann im Garten auf der Liege liegen, kurz im Meer baden und sicn anschließend wieder im Garten sonnen. Mehrmals wöchentlich wird die Wohnung geputzt und es gibt neue Handtücher. Einzig die Matratzen im Bett sollten ausgetauscht werden. Sie sind hart wie Stein. Der Vermieter gibt gute tips für Restaurants und Ausflüge. Wir haben einige davon getestet und waren total zufrieden damit. Ein Mietwagen ist notwendig, da das Haus doch ziemlich abseits steht. Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert!!

Nice and very clean apartment

We had a wonderful 2 weeks vacation in Kissamos. The apartment was often and well cleaned during our stay. Everything about the apartment was as described. Aircondition units, one in bedroom and the other in kitchen were excellent. A very short walk to the beach in front of the apartment and the Naya beach bar nearby was our favourite place during our stay, delicious food, good facilities and fiendly staff.

Freundlichkeit und Erholung pur

Wenn man auf Aussicht, schönstes Panorama wert legt, ist man hier genau richtig! 3 km Strand, mal Kies, Steine, feinster Sand, alles dabei und das keine 50 Meter vom Balkon weg. Man sollte schon die Appartement zur See hin nehmen, zur Landseite schaut man auf eine triste Landschaft und auf entfernte Berge. Am Strand waren wir im September oft allein. Schöne Strandspaziergänge. Nette, ruhige Strandbar in 300 m Entfernung. Ein Leihwagen ist eine dringende Voraussetzung um viele wunderschöne Ziele zu erreichen bei Fahrzeiten von 10 Minuten bis zu einer Stunde. Ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis! Der Ort Kissamos ist nicht so attraktiv . Der Vermieter sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sehr sauber. Reinigung und neue Hand/Badetücher mehrmals in der Woche neu. Abseits gelegen vom Turistenrummel und trotzdem Zentral zu den Stränden.

Unvergesslich

Wir haben uns unsagbar wohl und willkommen gefühlt.Die Wohnung selbst war zweckmäßig eingerichtet das war aber auch das einzig kleine was uns etwas gestört hat, ansonsten sehr sauber und ordentlich Der Hausstrand war ein Traum wir waren fast allein dort :-).der Besitzer ist sehr nett war immer mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle wenn mal was gebraucht oder gefragt wurde.Kreta hat uns in Ihren Bann gezogen wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Die Wohnung war super sauber und wurde auch zwischendurch gereinigt. Es hat alles gepasst, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Strand und das Wasser direkt vor der Türe waren klasse, noch im November 26 grad gehabt !

Ottima abitazione con ogni confort, letto matrimoniale grande e sopra tutto lungo con lenzuola e materasso intero e comodo La posizione della casa è decentrata ma non troppo Unica pecca se vogliamo è l'orientamento della terrazza NW dove non batte il sole per asciugare i teli, ma si viene ripagati dalla vista magnifica sul mare.

Very relaxing holidays

This year, we were really lucky because we had a great time in Kissamos. (We rented a car in Heraklion which was necessary for shopping at Kissamos and short trips). We really enjoyed the warmhearted welcome of Konstantinos and his family. Their house is perfectly situated for very relaxing holidays, which we desperately needed after this very difficult Covid year. We really liked the location of our appartment (seaside, on the left side of the house). The distribution of the rooms, the kitchen appliances and the furniture of the rooms are great. The terrace with view to the well-tended garden and and sea just perfect. The noise of the waves in the big western bay was so relaxing. The equipment (utensils) of the kitchen was appropriate for two persons. What we also really (!) appreciated was the cleanliness of the appartment. Of course, there is air conditioning which we did not need the whole 10 days because there was always a pleasant temperature. If we had questions or needs, Konstantinos and his family offered always a helping hand. The long beach (stones, pebble, sand) is just in front of the property. There were only few people (mostly greeks) because tourists seem to prefer the wonderful beaches of Falasarna, Balos or Elafonissi. The first one, we visited several times, but, in general, we prefered to enjoy our place, the great food and the friendly people of Kissamos/Crete. Thanks so much to Konstantinos and his family. We hope to be back, the sooner - the better.

Soggiorno Creta Kissamos

Appartamento pulito, ben arredato con splendida vista. Localizzato a circa 15/20 minuti dalla bellissima spiaggia di Falasarna. Il centro di Kissamos dista 5 minuti in auto.
