Good but for TV

Overall a great place and as advertised, lots of room. Only complaint is that none of the TVs worked when we got there. To be specific the cable did not work. We sent the mgt company a text they referred us to the check in package which we had already read. The next evening when we got back 3 of the 4 would connect to cable but one bedroom never did.

Good complex, poorly stocked and equipped

The area and the complex are nice and neat in a good location. But the unit itself had uncomfortable spring beds, bugs, and was poorly stocked and equipped. Kitchen, but no dish soap, no toiletries in bathrooms. Laundry but no laundry soap. When the management was asked, they said they don’t provide any of those things. Not even extra trash bags or toilet paper. Are we buy all these things to just keep the house clean? Doesn’t make a lot of sense. Also, the TV didn’t work the whole three days we were there. Told management on day one and they said they’d someone out to fix, but no one ever came. Was very disappointed.. Overall, might stay in the complex again, but not this unit because it’s poorly managed.

Unprofessional / Very Uncomfortable

Was uncomfortable from the time we checked in. The girl at the desk had the info for our stay. Asked for my ID and my card for payment. I told her I received emails verifying that payment was made. I had to show her where the payment came out of my account. People would walk around the building by the patio and stare and turn around and walk back while dialing their phone. This made us feel uncomfortable as though we were being watched the entire time we were there. I kept getting texts telling me how many days remained in our stay. She told me not to touch the locks on the inside of the main door because they would reset. Reset?? That meant we could not lock the deadbolt. I did out of habit and the locks were fine. The paperwork I received had contradicting information as to the rules etc. Though we loved being on the ground floor I will not stay in another place there that is rented by Palmetto. I have stayed in several of the condos in that golf community and always felt very comfortable. Not this one. I’ll be surprised if this review even gets posted.

Frustrating TV experienece

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As a yearly customer for the last few years, I have always loved the size of the units, their location and closeness to major fun sites. Our experience this year was unfortunately suboptimal due to bad 'TV experience'. The TV in the master bedroom was extremely tiny and cumbersome to operate. The other two TVs in the 2 room were no better in terms of size and functionality. This was a huge letdown for us. As a family with children, having decent size working TVs in each room with streamlining functions was imperative. Since none of the TVs were working properly, we all ended up using the TV in the family room which was needlessly frustrating, creating unnecessary congestion in the living room. I hope this is fixed, otherwise we will not rent this property in the future for this mere reason. Thanks.

The condo itself it’s lovely, clean and cool. Unfortunately for us, the unit above us was also occupied with another vacationing family of clodhoppers. Now, I don’t know exactly what they were doing up there until 1:30am, but if I had to guess I’d say they enjoyed square dancing and playing basketball, simultaneously. Also, I imagine they used a bowling ball instead of a basketball. Once it got to midnight we opened the front door and found some people on the stairs in hopes to find relief from the constant thuds and Olympic sprints across our ceiling. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any as they didn’t speak English and our limited ability to communicate left us understanding they felt no one was running and in fact no noise was being made. So perhaps there is a ghost living in the unit above this one who enjoys square dancing bowling/basketball that only occupants of this unit can hear. In that case, perhaps it should be put in the description so it can appeal to ghost aficionados. Otherwise, we would stay here again with noise canceling earphones.

Downey 2 month vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit needs updating. Everything old. Main tv and master bedroom TVs too SMALL. The sheets seemed small on the king bed. Pillowcases didn’t cover the pillows. Lacked kitchen baking products ( cake pan, muffin pan, etc). Not enough spoons and forks. We bought measuring cups, measuring spoons and a spatula and left them. We bought our own bath towels and hand towels. If we had company, always washing silverware to have enough. Two broken chairs, ironing board couldn’t be lowered and put away. Your maintenance folks very helpful and kind. They fixed the dryer quickly. Ken brought new cookware. Pots were burn marks on bottom. Also put doors in 3rd bedroom that was stored in a closet. Need new stove. Burned a couple of items in the oven. Could use all new appliances. I hadn’t seen an agitator in many years. Felt we overpaid for the conditions. I blame the owner. Loved the location! Sorry to complain but will contact you if we return next year.
