Peaceful beauty

We loved this casita. Felt welcomed and relaxed. Beautiful property to relax on the patios. The view was peaceful and serene. Use of the kitchen was easy to cook in which I like to do. Loved our morning coffee and afternoon wine on two separate patios. The host was great in communication. Check in was easy.

Great Outdoor Spaces

What a great place to stay! Super clean and even had snacks waiting for us. Lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed using the grill and outdoor dining area. Morning coffee on one of the porches is a must!

Perfect For Two

We spent a week in this lovely rental and didn’t want to leave! Jeannie and Steve provided everything you could possibly need and more. Located just a mile outside of Wickenburg, we loved the quiet and the flower-filled yard, the birds, and the rabbits. This property is just delightful!

Great place!

We loved this place. Plenty of room and nice quiet neighborhood. Nice decor and comfy bed. Will definitely stay here again when we are back in Wickenburg.

Beautiful location - Great Host

The house was such a pleasant surprise. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything we needed was on hand. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Beds were comfy. Outdoor spaces easy to use. We will definately stay here again when back in town!

Great house and location!

I was very impressed! It was much better in person than the photos. We had a family of 6 and the house was spacious and beautiful. It included so many great amenities and Jeannie was very welcoming.

Gorgeous home and property, perfect for families!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Casa Agave! The home is beautifully and tastefully appointed in Southwestern decor, and tons of creature comforts are included in the home. The home is extremely comfortable, making all of us feel relaxed and right at home. The wrap-around outdoor patio is lovely. The home backs to a hill, so the patio feels very private. We had a little family reunion at the home, which worked out perfectly. It was an excellent place to reconnect with family members. I will stay again if ever visiting this area of Arizona!! Thank you, Jeannie!!

Loved the home and the location.

This home has so many special extras. The kitchen is fully equipped. The patio has an outdoor kitchen with BBQ grill, sink, and fridge. There is a hammock with a pad for two people. And a swing for two people. We loved the decorations which are western. There is a fire pit and an outdoor smoking area up the stairs outside with a great sunset view. Perfect place to stay. Our hosts provided Water bottles, snacks and ice cream in the fridge. Perfect home.

Beautiful Ranch house with so many views

I have to say I loved this house. From the moment we stepped foot into the house, it felt like coming home. Few rentals do that for me and my husband and I travel quite a lot. We had other family members with us and there was certainly enough privacy for everyone while the community spaces where spacious and delightful. AC worked fabulously and you had an abudance of ceiling fans (inside and out). The great room included an open plan kitchen and seating area with window after window of spectacular views of the beautiful sonaran desert. For the bird watcher, this is a true delight. We saw Northern Flicker, Northern Cardinal, Cactus Wrens, a plethora of Quail with young, Cow Birds, and a variety of finches. There were bunnies and coyotes too. I'm a cook and this kitchen really does deliver. The knife selection was tremendous for a rental and all the knives we used were sharp. Pans were perfectly acceptable. Everything I wanted to use in a kitchen, except an instant pot, was available. Keurig coffee, kettle, and drip coffee pot available and very convenient. Fridge had filtered and bottled water. I used their blender and it was as effective as my Vitamix, just took a bit longer. All in all, I was super happy with the kitchen. The master bedroom suite was such a delight. A two headed shower and nice garden tub with views of the desert were a terrific surprise and addition. We liked how the toilet had its own separate room as well. Convenient for those sharing the master suite. Super comfy beds. The spaces are very comfortable and stylish. The little touches such as the corner stubs really made the place stand out and feel super clean, no grubby floor corners. The TV worked great, never an issue. Outside you have not one but three tables to enjoy and a surprise outdoor swing and bed. The owners were gracious enough to allow our dogs to attend with us and the house is really setup for that. You would need to keep your dogs on leash, it is the desert and many a fine rattler you may find, although we didn't see any. Still best to keep your dogs in tow. The only thing I would change is to have true black out curtains in each bedroom. None of us were disturbed by the little bit of light coming through and we prefer total darkness to sleep in. If you are considering renting this place, do not hestitate. I hope you will love it as much as we did. My husband and I will be back to enjoy!

Great place for a relaxing getaway!

With another couple, my husband and I enjoyed our 3-night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. With a fully stocked kitchen it was a pleasure to cook, which we did a lot. Plenty of seeds to spread to watch the birds and chipmunks through the large picture windows as we ate in the dining area along with great views of the surrounding area, that was very private. No need to close the drapes in the other rooms with the large arcadia doors. We watched a movie each night through Netflix and the ball drop celebrating the New Year with fire burning in the fireplace that kept the room toasty. On one day we played tennis and another day hiked around the trails at Hassayampa River Preserve. The weather was sunny, calm and reached into the high 50's. Our last full day, we enjoyed an unexpected snowfall rare for the area. If you like to read, there are plenty of interesting books to curl up with. This home is in a quiet area to get away to relax with plenty of room to enjoy the company of friends and family.

The owners have moved to Wickenburg from cold country.....Idaho and Minnesota. After working in the health care industry and the hospitality world we have devoted CASA AGAVE to welcome recovery guests from The Meadows, Remuda Ranch and Rosewood Ranch. Our close proximity to the Rodeo grounds allows a perfect choice for horse folks. Boarding is available for a minimal fee. Close to town /scenic, private and secure.

Why they chose this property

CASA AGAVE is a prime location for a rental property! Only 1 mile to town and near the Wickenburg Rodeo Grounds. Feels like you are on the edge of the desert, but walking distance to Rodeo/Restaurants/Town. Very easy access to Remuda Ranch, Rosewood and The Meadows for recovery folks.
