There is a river within a 3 minute walk and a lake within less than a 5 minute walk. Nature abounds, the birds will sing you through your stay. Our dog Lucy, loves to love! This is camping/glamping for sure. Grass and gravel. It's a jewel of a space and you won't want to leave! Very cozy and comfortable. The bathroom and yurt both have heaters. It's very wooded and fairly secluded/private. You will hear rural neighborhood sounds from time to time. We will continue to enhance this gem with you in mind.

The property was fantastic. It provided the perfect relaxing getaway. Seeing the deer was a treat. The yurt was adorable and cozy. The hosts are super kind and was very hospitable. Would definitely stay there again.
What an incredible space Shannon and Michael created. Easy access to all the beautiful sites in the surrounding area, but the star of the show was definitely the yurt and magical outdoor living experience it provided. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed waking up and having my morning cup of coffee and feeling the cold crisp air on my face. The firepit kept me warm and when I was ready for sleep, felt like i was sleeping in a 5 star resort. One of the best nights sleep I've had away from home. Something really special about falling asleep und the stars with the full moon shining thru the dome! Shannon really made every aspect of my stay special! BTW the outdoor shower is life changing. Looking forward to my next visit!

About the host

We love being hosts! We enjoy the different types of people who stay with us and like to pamper you with a surprise waiting for you in the Yurt. We built this campsite to bless people with our slice of heaven and to have some income during retirement.
Why they chose this property
It's peaceful with a variety of wildlife around depending on the season. Birds are singing and sometimes, if we are lucky, frogs are croaking. It's private and secure with wooded areas on two sides of the property and walking trails out back. It's close to town for any needs that might arise. Our larger backyard is the Mountain Loop Hwy which begins only 4 minutes away and has a multitude of hiking trails and adventures. There is also a river and a lake within a 3 minute walk from our home for swimming and fishing fun.
What makes this property unique
It's beautiful and private. We have a large garden area toward the front of the property with lots of flowers and some veggies. The large cedar trees are spectacular and its your own personal campground.
