Inadequate Bedding - No Sleep

The bedding was low quality and inadequate. A normal bed height is around 24 inches from the floor and includes a mattress and boxspring for support. The bedding in this property included a foam mattress on planks, very low to the floor. The string to the fan is missing in the bedroom, which results in a person not being able to use the fan without the light remaining on. So the person needs to either sleep with the light on, or the fan off. In addition, once the bedroom door is closed, the air conditioning is blocked from the room, which makes the room hot during the night. These conditions are not comfortable for sleeping. The screen for the Lanai is missing, which means bugs get into the area. There should be some storage in the bedrooms. There wasn't any dressers or hangers in the closets. The kitchen is usually stocked with some necessities like salt and pepper. It did not have anything in the cabinets. Bugs were present in the kitchen. Customers have certain minimal expectations that should be met when renting a house. We needed to leave the property and pay for a hotel in order to get a good night sleep. The issues were not resolved with the host or VRBO.

Enjoyable Home

Check in process was very easy! We traveled with a large group to Florida and had stayed in two separate homes. This house was perfect for what we needed. Great location and close proximity to stores and restaurants. Host was great at communication!
