My family had the most exquisite stay at the cottage this summer. The house, location, local community, and of course the beach were absolutely sublime. Owners are so kind and attentive, and the house was clean, cool, with the most wonderful peaceful feeling. Nothing beats the sound of the surf through the open windows. We cannot wait to return...!
We had a wonderful week’s stay at this beautiful, comfortable, well appointed house with our family. Just 4 houses away from a private entrance onto a very quiet, incredible stretch of Amagansett beach. Such a different experience from other Long Island ocean beaches. Marie was a wonderful host, very responsive to any of our questions. Looking forward to returning in the future.
We loved staying here. It was so wonderful being able to walk to the beach just a few minutes away. Bedrooms all lovely. Quiet private street. I am sure we will be back. Thank you!
The property was wonderful and as it was described a special get away with beach a short walk and sound of waves from house.

A hidden gem!
With 3 kids and a husband in tow, renting a new vacation house is a little nerve racking! As soon as we pulled in, a huge sigh of relief came over me. The front yard/patio has beautiful plants and mature trees and lots of privacy. A charming white gate takes you to the door : ) Inside we found a very clean open floorplan with everything we needed. The décor and appliances are updated but all still have that cottage feeling, so you can kick off your flipflops and hang out with family comfortably! The entire house has a new a/c fan system, each room has its own built-in wall unit with a remote control. I wish I had it in my house at home! Having 3 kids, the only thing I would change would be to make one of the bedrooms a bunk room so all the kiddos can stay together and confine their duffels/towels/bathing suits. Oh and by the way... walk to the private beach is so short and the beach itself is gorgeous. Its also a short walk to the yummy Beach Hut which sells lobster rolls, "kids" grub and frozen lemonade...yummmm. The street is (kind of) a dead-end so there is limited traffic which made it perfect for after beach football catches. In case you haven't guessed, we are going back!!!

Lovely, comfortable cottage in Amagansett
My husband & I loved this cottage for many reasons - the proximity to the beach is great - 5 min walk! Also, it's close to Montauk and East Hampton/Sag Harbor. The neighborhood was quiet & peaceful. It is very comfortable - nice deck to enjoy Happy Hour in the afternoon after the beach. Kitchen is well stocked and the owners let you use condiments in pantry & frig. It is clean; it offers 3 spacious bedrooms & 2 baths. The air conditioners work well and are very quiet! The kitchen and living room are nicely decorated and very comfortable for just chilling - there was one rainy day, so I had brought a couple of movies and played them on the DVD player. Was nice having access to a washer/dryer. The owners were very receptive to questions and answered promptly. They provided beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels. It was the perfect oasis for a relaxing beach vacation! Highly recommend!

Perfect beach get away
My husband and I have been coming to his area for years. We don't want fancy, but comfortable is important (and we've definitely rented some duds in the past)! This house is simple but very comfortable, and has everything you need -- gas and charcoal bbq, outdoor shower, kitchen with all appliances and utensils, a/c so you can sleep on those hot nights, comfortable beds, and you can hear the ocean from the backyard. My husband and I spent a great 2 weeks here (and it's also great for kids, as the ocean is just a short walk away). This area still has one of the nicest beaches in the Hamptons. And if you like to bike, you can ride straight to the lighthouse in Montauk and back, with the wide shoulder on 27, and barely an intersection (and you can also bike to a nearby farmstand or the IGA and liquor store, which is 2 minutes away by car). The location is perfect and the owners were great, very accommodating, easy to communicate with, and returned security deposit promptly. We would not hesitate to return.

Great cottage
My wife and I and three children stayed at this cottage last summer. We had a wonderful time. If you're a fan of the Dunes, this is as good as it gets for the price. It's midway in the Dunes requiring only a short walk to and from beach (this is important should you forget an item). The interior is fresh and cheerful, and the kitchen is well-equipped...no annoying runs to the grocery to purchase wine glasses, opener, etc. Everything is there. The bathrooms work and the beds are comfortable. It's minutes from the Amagansett Fish Market! My schedule changed at the last moment, and owners were able to accommodate us for an extra day, which was really nice. The owners are terrific, and the deposit was returned promptly...our favorite cottage in the Dunes.
