Our cozy 2 bedroom guest house with king beds is the perfect place to call home and make memories during your visit to the Cook Forest/Clear Creek State Park area. Nestled on 66 private wooded acres, our all new guest house has been carefully curated to provide you with all the comforts and conveniences you need to enjoy your stay. We take great pride in our guest house and strive to make it the perfect vacation retreat for our guests. Our property is meticulously cleaned and maintained, and we're always available to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have during your stay. Outdoor enthusiasts will love that we are ideally located within 5-10 minutes from Clear Creek State Park and Cook Forest State Park and a short 20 minute drive to the Allegheny National Forest. Whether you're looking for outdoor adventures or just a relaxing getaway, you'll find everything you need right here at Whitetail Wilds Hideaway!

Fantastic

Our stay was amazing. The property was beautiful. The owners are amazing as well. They made our stay very comfortable and they were very informative and gave us a list of place we could eat at and trails we could hike. It was a great experience. We will definitely be going back

Perfect getaway

The Hostess was so very kind and helpful. Great location and scenery. The guesthouse is beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a country getaway.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. The guest house was so comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. Owners were so nice and accommodating and have thought of everything you could need to make your trip great and relaxing. Super convenient to area attractions as well

First Rate!

This rental checks all the boxes for us! Hot tub, king sized beds, WELL-equipped kitchen and supplies. The location is peaceful and secluded while being only a few miles from Clear Creek State Park and less than a half hour from Cook Forest - truly a hikers' paradise everywhere! They even have nice trails on the property. My only concern when booking was that being a guest house, I wasn't sure there would be privacy in the shadow of the main house. While the guest house is close to the main house, it's offset enough to feel privacy on the covered deck, hot tub and fire pit. But, the best part is the hospitality of Carrie and Jeff! Our first reaction when walking is is that the owners really care for this property. Immaculate and tastefully decorated with so many touches of home. They were both attentive to any of our needs yet respectful of our privacy. Carrie even ran out for us to get a plastic trash bag so we could return home with our wasp nest souvenir without being stung! And I won't even mention the wonderful desserts she brought back from Pittsburg for us - or we'll never be able to book this place again!

Beautiful Backdrop

As we drove down the back road to this house. We were instantly greeted with nature. This guest house is surrounded by a beautiful forest. Wildlife is abundant and everywhere! The guesthouse was beautifully decorated and very clean. The house has everything you need. My husband and I enjoyed our two nights day.Carrie was an amazing host. I would highly recommend this place.

I don’t even know where to begin! The host was just as exceptional as the property! They thought of everything, between the free first night fire wood to the binder of instructions for the hot tub and other electronics they provide like the blue tooth speakers for the hot tub and shower! ! We will definitely be coming back.

Perfect home for a getaway!

This beautiful home met our needs perfectly for our friends hiking getaway in Cook Forest. The house is immaculate and well appointed. Carrie - the owner- attended to every detail to make our stay comfortable and checked in to be sure we had what we needed. The owners have gone to great lengths to deliver a spot with privacy and all you could want in a vacation home. It’s a great location for outdoor activities in the area. We are already planning our return trip!

A Wonderful Stay!

Carrie and Jeff were wonderful hosts. Great communication. They offered a lot of recommendations from food to hiking to local events. The property is exactly as described, and it has everything you need. Beautiful, quiet location. Perfect for a couple or two. Plan to see deer to/from the house and in the yard. I highly recommend asking Carrie for her son's graduation cake recipe - amazing!

You won't regret it!

It started with walking through the front door and the smell of clean linens, to the fresh cut flowers on our night stands and a single chocolate being placed on each side of the bed. As I told the host Carrie, I always bring my own pillow and comforter just to feel as clean as I do at home. This is the first time in 25 years that I did not need to pull out my own comforter. Everything was as clean as my own home if not better. After a long day of being out, the hot tub couldn't have gotten any better either. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to camp like myself, at least a queen size bed, a TV and AC. Carrie, thank you again for a memorable stay and we hope to see you again in the near future!

Better than the pictures

Every part of our stay was phenomenal. First off, when we arrived, I was shocked that the place was so much better in person than the already amazing photos. The home was immaculate, beautiful, comfortable, and inviting, from the lighting to the firm and comfortable mattresses, to the open kitchen/living area. The yard was so beautiful and was a blast for my 2 small boys. The outdoor dining area was lovely, and faced a huge pristine forest. The hot tub was so peaceful and so CLEAN. The area had a lot of fun local things to do. We don't love to eat out and there weren't many healthy restaurant options so we made most food at home, which we loved anyway because we loved the property so much. The hosts were so helpful, and available any time we had questions. I have already recommended the location to family/friends. This would be ideal for a romantic weekend away, or a nice family vacation. Thank you for an amazing family vacation.

AMAZING DOWN TO EVERY DETAIL

Everything was impeccable! The property was obviously built and decorated with love. The hosts did not miss one single detail from the kitchen to the hot tub to the fire pit to the outdoor pavilion. Even the sofa bed was extremely comfortable. Private and peaceful surroundings. Really close to Cook Forest. Our group agreed that this was the nicest place we have ever stayed!!! Big mistake if you dont rent this property. And if you do.......you will be leaving an awesome review like this one!!! We already booked it agin for next Spring.

This guesthouse was perfect! I loved the king bed, hot tub and the privacy. I was traveling solo so also felt safe. The renovation had an HGTV flair. 😊 DEFINITELY will book again!

Our property has been recently renovated with 2 bedrooms with king beds, paved patio with a 6 person hot tub with lounger and propane gas grill. Guests have their own private yard space for fun and games and a firepit area with seating for 6. Guests have a covered 12' X 18' gazebo with privacy curtains and mosquito netting that has a dining area for 6 people and a bistro set with seating for 2. Entire guest house is situated on 66 beautiful wooded acres for guests to explore.
