Perfect spot for my friend and I to have a fun weekend. The camper was just what we needed. Small and minimalistic, but definitely everything you need and super cozy. If you like nature, you'll love the love they put into their garden that surrounds the place. Hot tub was great to relax in at the end of the day. The owners were so sweet and welcoming, even the furry ones!!
Needed a place for my seven year old and I to stay for the weekend while we were at the whitewater center. This place was great for us. It’s small but very functional and clean. Bathroom was excellent and the bed was comfy. We caught a few bass off of the dock and watched a storm pass by from the hot tub. The owner was extremely accessible and responded to my requests for recommendations quickly. Awesome little spot, just don’t expect a 5 star resort. My son had a blast staying in the “camper” and we will definitely stay again.
The unit was not the same as the picture. My fault was not looking at the place before cancelation because my obese body didn't fit and the weather made for a chance to just reflect regardless. Quite peaceful there and you can relax no interruptions.

not for me
the photos lack the truth. the tiny RV is just outside the owners living quarters, they have 2 dogs the clear view of the lakeis hidden by their area there is no less than 4 divisions of steps down to the ground to go to the dock.there was a hot tub up on the hill next to the road ..the lack of privacy was an issue they were in the home lots of.cameras keypad attached the door to enter theTiny RV was malfunctioning. means to prepare food inside.was a small toaster oven. vey well decorated, noisy in the wall air condition,on top i heard footsteps doors closing bumping sounds the one night i stayedi arrived on friday4th left first thing saturday5th morning sent several messages heard from one of them late saturday afternoon..am asking to be refunded. there was a large RV parked in the space that could be a space to park near but i was asked to park farther away.nothing close by food etc..20 mins. or more away.i came for relaxing but wrong atomphere ..they seem pleasant , .
My wife and I were looking for a romantic night away from our kids, and we found it. Very cozy, and we wanted to enjoy the hot tub, but we just ran out of time.
We had a small issue that me and my girlfriend caused during checkin and they took care of it immediately and they were very understanding they didn’t get frustrated or upset they just handled business 100% would book again
Great little spot near Charlotte, though definitely take a look at the houseboat rental if you get the chance! The RV was cute and the hosts were wonderful. We loved their farm cat, kayaking on Lake Wylie, and the hot tub!
Food prep was a little difficult in the small space and without a burner or microwave, but they did offer us the use of their grill if we wanted. They also helped us set up a little campfire so we could roast marshmallows and hotdogs!
The location is pretty neat. It feels remote, but we were able to leave during the day to access activities in Charlotte without much driving. There's also a grocery store nearby.
(Thanks Cherie and That Guy!)
Please don’t be hesitant about me eating 5stars across the board.
My stay here was beyond what I was expecting. Planned a getaway for my partner and I however they were unable to travel last min which left me kinda heartbroken.
Until I arrived to the Lake.
Host were very welcoming, the location is tucked off the highway and even though it’s close to the airport I never heard a single plan until I hit the main road!!
I spent a good hour floating away in one of the kayaks and some more time down on the docks.
The house was clean and while it says sleeps two the space isn’t as small as you think. There are two sleeping areas so to me space would be perfect for a couple and there 3rd wheel 😅 however that’s just for space reference..
The only down side to my trip was that the food lion employee didn’t know the difference between a head of lettuce and cabbage so I was w/o dinner… until the host blessed me with a home made garlic naan flatbread. Tasted fresh from the garden and my little plant based heart was in heaven that snack took me to a new level on cloud 9 and saved my night.
I will definitely be back anytime I need to get away from the city life.
If this home isn’t available check out their boat house it looked just as comfortable and relaxing bonus because it’s actually down on the water !

Why they chose this property
We love the tranquil wooded area by the lake, which is perfect for adventurers. The property is conveniently located near the city, airport, White Water Center, and downtown theater. Not to mention, the Carolina Raceway is close.
What makes this property unique
The property is unique because it has a hot tub overlooking the lake. We are currently constructing a small beach, and we have a barbecue grill and a special floating dock. You will have a lot of fun staying here and will be thrilled with your experience.
