Everything we needed was there. Clean house and lots of room. Really enjoyed our stay. The Wing ding cookies were amazing, you must request a delivery. Menu is on the frig.
Very nice property and not overpriced. Amazing views, an excellent little hot tub that was comfortable for 4 adults, and a quiet setting nestled in the woods on a lake.
Hard to imagine but we left our garage door opener on the counter. Our daughter and family live on the lake. Can we arrange for the cleaning people to say put it on the space between the screen door and the door. Then she can easily swing by to pick it up?
Our stay was wonderful.
- House was clean & matches the photos in the listing.
- The owner was quick to respond.
- Lake was clean & calm.
- Neighbors & other boaters were super friendly. Always waving when going by the dock.
- Wild strawberries were growing all around the property.
- Great place to get away from the city & relax.
So happy that this home was available for us to use.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful lake house and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and serene surroundings. The house itself was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The amenities were top-notch, with a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room with a wood burning stove, and comfortable bedrooms. We already booked our next stay and can’t wait to return!
Thank you for sharing your special place with us again this year. The rhodies were in full bloom & in every color imaginable. We also enjoyed seeing a duck with seven ducklings swim by the dock on a daily basis. Even though it's still May, we also got in a daily swim, followed by a warm up in the cedar hot tub. :-)

View is beautiful. Beds were comfortable. Furniture, decor, cookware all a bit dingy but fine. Did not feel super clean- but I think that was more due to old, cluttered space and stuff and not actual lack of cleanliness. Kids were a bit bored. Host did not provide children’s life jackets which meant if the kind neighbor hadn’t lended us life jackets, kids could not have gone on the one lake toy (paddle boards) provided.
Those who used the hot tub got a rash from dirty hot tub water.
Gross!
Should be grateful we only got to use the hot tub once with good heat. Other times it was not hot so didn't dwell.
We were very lucky to get a quiet, sunny and warm 4 day stay in a well appointed house. All the stairs might be too much for a 93 year old less vigorous than my mom.
Great place with lots of room for activities! Warm and inviting. This place will be our new go to when family and friends come from out of town. Altho we didn’t use the bbq or fire pit, they will be enjoyed on our next stay.
Home is comfy and clean. Two bedrooms, open concept dining/living and kitchen downstairs loft and open concept room upstairs. House has a beautiful grassy area that opens to your own private dock. There’s a BBQ grill on the patio and a gas fire pit out by the dock. Convenient 30 min drive to many fun things to do with the family to get out for a few days before returning to the house for lake swimming and s’mores by the fire! The WiFi works well, and we were able to get the upstairs TV to work, but not the downstairs… but really who cares when you have a view like that!!! Will for sure rent this house in the future!
We had a great time at Lake Roesiger. Comfortable and well stocked!
We were very happy with the overall experience. It’s a great place in a great location. We found everything we needed to prepare meals and appreciated that it felt like home away from home.
Our family returned to this property for a third time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves yet again. We remembered to bring a sufficient amount of beach towels and extra swimsuits so we always had one dry. We enjoyed diving off the dock, swimming, floating, paddling the stand up paddle boards that we brought, and warming up in the hot tub. A young family member also notably caught her first fish right off the dock--a memory that will likely last a lifetime. We also brought our fire stick and Xbox and enjoyed watching movies and playing Just Dance in the upstairs loft in the evening. My personal favorite was simply having my coffee out on the deck or dock in the morning before anyone else was up and listening to the melodies of the various songbirds that reside around the lake.

The property itself is beautiful. My family really
Enjoyed it. I wish the weather would have cooperated better. Also wish we had some fishing poles so we could have enjoyed the lake since we couldn’t swim.

Roesiger Lakehouse. Beautiful property on Lake Roesiger with a dock and outdoor seating.
Very peaceful area on the lake a few weeks before Memorial Day weekend. There's a hot tub available for use and what looked like a 2-person paddle boat, but we chose not to use it as it seemed its better days had long passed. There's a lot of stairs from the parking area to enter the house on the mid-level then more stairs down to the backyard and the lake. This made it a challenge transporting luggage, groceries and a cooler down to the house. Thought I mention this as it may be an issue for the elderly. We also rented kayaks and a canoe from the nearby lake store that had to be carried down (and up) the flights of stairs. The website needs to be updated as it advertised a foosball table which wasn't there, and the owner didn't know about it. It was bummer because it was something that we were all looking forward to playing. The website also says it has big screen TV's which amounted to two 32 - 36" Flat screen TV's. The website states, No Cable (true statement) so bring your own DVDs as there is a DVD player available however, not Blu-Ray compatible. There was no internet connection and the WIFI was weak at best indoors and better out of the house. There was an oversite by the owner regarding a pet policy that he corrected, and our dog was allowed but new policy is no pets. The owner seemed like a nice gentleman that sincerely wanted the best stay for us. He even reimbursed some money back for the internet problem. The furniture, beds and TVs could use an upgrade but overall, the house was clean. I know I sound like I'm complaining about a lot of things, but I honestly feel a bit shorted for what we paid and what we got or didn't get. I believe if the owner puts a little more attention to his website and invest in some much needed upgrading the rental would be well worth it. It's a beautiful place on the lake.
