Clean, quiet, and modern.

I rented this property for my mother to stay in while visiting. It was very clean, quiet, and she really enjoyed her stay. Hala was very kind and welcoming. We'd definitely book it again in the future.

So glad we stayed here!

Great location. Beautiful place, with everything our family needed. It is in a quiet, safe neighborhood with a private parking lot and a short drive to all the Philadelphia attractions. There are many good restaurants near by and a bus stop if you feel like leaving the car behind.This place was perfect for us. We would definitely stay again.

Gem in Philly

Place was charming and convenient to downtown. Host was VERY accommodating! Dunkin Donuts, next door, was very convenient, loved it!!

Birthday visit

We stayed in Hala's other apartment a couple years ago and it was great. It is 5 minutes from my Son & daughter in laws. Im sure we'll stay again until Son buys a house there.

Enjoyed staying at The Blue Gem

The property is even nicer than is shown in the pictures. Everything we needed was provided. Hala, the host, was very gracious and went above and beyond for a personal issue that we had (nothing related to the property). We were there to be near family so this property was perfect. Thank you, Hala, for sharing your place with us!

Great stay in Philly

I had an amazing stay at this home in Philly. The house was immaculate, well maintained, and equipped with all the features and amenities I could ask for. Everything was perfect, from the comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen. The location is a bit distant from the city centre, Uber costs about $40, on the other hand quiet and comfortable location. I am planning to recommend this place to all my friends in Poland.

Wonderful Condo in Elkins Park

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights. The condo was very spacious and clean. Also really well equipped, there was coffee, tea, creamer, etc. There was plenty of hot water, the shower pressure was great. Lots of private parking. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of linens, extra towels, blankets. Communication was excellent, very quick response with clear details. We would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of Space!

The Blue Gem provides lots of space for a couple and enough room for a small family. The unit is up one flight of stairs only steps from the parking lot. The main living space is large and comfortable with areas for the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Down the hall, you find a hall bathroom plus 2 bedrooms. The primary bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. There's also a balcony off the living room if you want to step outside.Overall, the apartment is nicely decorated. The mattresses in the primary bedroom are new memory-foam mattresses. There are some issues due to the fact that it is an older property. For example, the shower doors in the ensuite bathroom no longer have rollers to easily open and close. You have to lift them up, move them where you want them, and then lower them back onto the track. The washer and dryer are very old and positioned where you cannot easily access the control knob because of the folding door they're behind. They're also very low capacity, so plan on doing multiple loads compared to one in most modern machines.Even with these minor issues, the unit provides a nice place to stay when visiting the greater northeast Philadelphia area. We'd recommend The Blue Gem if you're heading to Elkins Park, PA.
