Upon arrival to the ranch, the relaxing atmosphere and country setting begins to descend on you. You are 5 minutes from the freeway, but secluded enough to relax and rejuvenate. Whether you are here for a family or business gathering, there will be a smile on your face. See some of our gatherings on our Facebook page Dunn Rite Ranch!
Go back in time to a Texas style ranch bunkhouse on a working horse ranch! But don't let the "bunkhouse" description fool you. Upon entry to the bunkhouse, you find yourself in a rustic style resort. Bring your group retreat / family reunion to sleep in bunkbeds like the old ranch hands had to d and hang out together in the 2500 square foot living area complete with a bar, full kitchen, and media set up. It's easy to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to your group. Quiet, temperature controlled, sleeping areas for 22 people. Enjoy winter night by the fireplace or a cool evening by the fire pit or a summer night on the XL patio and porch. You can connect your computer into the big screen and show your power point presentations, movies, or play video games. Addition tables and chairs are available to rent for your group.
We try to provide you with all of the necessities during your stay. There are basic cooking supplies and starter coffee supplies in the kitchen and a few toiletries if you need them.
Enjoy watching the horses in our pastures or bring your own to our horse motel complete with arena, round pen and trail course for your use. Horse boarding and RV hookups are available for our bunkhouse guests.

The perfect place for large groups

We absolutely love the ranch! It is so welcoming and comfortable for large groups. We will continue to come back! The place is always clean, provides all the needed amenities and communication is top notch. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Our Favorite Place To Stay

Our wrestlers always look forward to staying in the Bunkhouse. They enjoy the privacy that the two large bedrooms provide, since we have both girls and boys. It's really nice having separate bathroom areas for both boys and girls. The open shared spaces provided with the kitchen/dining and living room are awesome for our large group. Plus Joyce has always been awesome to deal with!!!

Perfect for large sports team!

Our wrestling team and coaches stayed at the ranch over a tournament weekend. It was the most perfect place for a large group! The team loved having a place to run around after a long car ride and enjoyed the big screen during the evening. Have a full kitchen to cook helped keep costs of the trip down. This is the best option for large groups with the multiple beds and bathrooms. Our team loved their stay and we will be back again! I highly recommend the Dunn Ranch for your large group travels!

Reunion Central

The ranch bunkhouse proved itself up to a family reunion of eight adults and nine children. The bunk facilities were surprisingly comfortable and quiet. Multiple bathrooms and shower facilities made it easy to get everyone ready for the day, while the great room and kitchen areas made it possible to have two or three separate activities going at once without conflict. The patios were clean, spacious and well organized. We utilized the cornhole and horseshoe games multiple times, and the fire ring was a really nice touch for s’mores and watching a meteor shower. The location was easy to find and is located in a quiet country setting. There was plenty of parking and we were able to invite day-guests to join us without any concern over space. The centrality to other activities in and around the greater Boise area made this a nice reunion headquarters. The amenities are manifest and manifold. We highly recommend this site for larger groups and families.

Warm and cozy place in Idaho

Thank you! This house was remarkable for our family. Very clean, roomy, and cozy. Horse on site was fun to watch with our little kids. Would definitely stay again.
