Misrepresentation of property from photos!
We arrived and checked in to our property at the "allowed time" (they make it clear there is NO flexibility with early or late check ins). There was a paper with rules about where to take our shoes off and all the warnings and fees about late check outs.
In the email AFTER we check in they make a mention that the beautiful resort pool in the ad is closed for maintenance. (empty). It was 30 degrees out. They directed us to a small pool...also closed. We emailed the owners as there were no pool towels, the pools were closed and there was no wifi info. Hours later they replied and we had to go find towels in the outdoor cleaner closet...not a big deal overall but adds to the other issues. No wifi all afternoon as it came later in an email ..but the big issue was the only pool open was a small, VERY dirty pool with everyone from the complex trying to get a spot. We sat on a patch of grass covered in cigarette butts for awhile but decided it wasn't worth it. The owners apologized and we requested one night refund as they did not tell us about the pool closure. They declined our request and when VRBO finally reached out to them, they offered us 100$.
The place is nice and big, but there were 4 forks, VERY limited cooking and dishes available so if you plan to use the kitchen, you may be disappointed. The beds are fine, pillows are small and scarce) but overall it was clean. First negative review we have ever left and we rent VRBOs multiple times a year.
