Great time in Somerset

Convenient to bus lines, stores, a couple of restaurants. Very clean and comfortable apartment with a great view of Mangrove Bay. Jody was very helpful in getting us settled in. Would definitely stay here again.

Great relaxing week!

We had a great time here! The apartment is very comfortable, has a lovely view and a great shower. We made good use of the kitchen, too. Jody was always friendly and responsive, and helped us set up rides to and from the airport. We had an excellent time and absolutely recommend this place!

Easy, quiet and comfy

Convenient to Dockyard and bus, comfy bed, nice kitchen and bath. Host was great, arranged for airport pickup and even gave a lift out one night.

Great accommodations

Was wanting to stay in the Somerset area for 3 weeks so this was a perfect location for our needs. Well set up for a longer term stay with great kitchen facilities, balcony, close to buses etc. would highly recommend for anyone - especially a longer term stay.

This was a great stay that felt like home away from home. It has bus stops right outside and is even walking distance to local market. The owner was very accessible if we needed anything and locals were very friendly and informative with things to do. Shopping and beaches only a short bus ride away.

My husband and I spent a week in Bermuda and thoroughly enjoyed having our own quiet space in this Vrbo. Jody was a fantastic host. We got bus passes at the post office right across the street and utilized the bus stop across the street as well. This made transportation throughout the week a breeze. We would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding Experience

2 East Shore Road, Magrove Bay is a perfect vacation spot on Bermuda.. hosts were outstanding especially if you like homemade baked goodies daily.. great location.. not in overcrowded Hamilton and yest close to everything.. great relaxing harbour bay view.. accommodation exactly as advertised.. bus pass for 12 nighy stay got us everywhere.. might come early May for 5 more degrees warmer.. but weather perfect overal luke not over hot humid summer.. will do this again

Friendly Hosts and Pleasant accommodations

Very cute studio with a nice view of Mangrove Bay. I loved the fact that the bus stop is right outside the apartment. It was easy to take the bus 2 stops up to the grocery store for our food supply. We also could do a short ride in the opposite direction to the dock yard to get the ferry or to do some tourist activities like the dolphin quest. My older mother could not walk far so having the bus stop so close really worked. Our hosts were wonderful and always available to answer questions. We almost didn't make it to our flights because of all the cancelations. They were a big help in getting us there and going out of their way to do so. Both Jody and Kathy were wonderful. I would definaitly book this apartment again.

We liked everything. It's a little far and you have to take a buses or the cab fare is a dinner entree There is a beach resort about a 10 minute walk and we had three amazing dinners there. I am not cooking on vacation

Traffic is busy there, especially when cruise ship arrives. Host was very accommodating. Very few amenities close by. Scenery is breathtaking. Bus stop , post office and liquor store are very near. Great kitchen facilities on site.

A Good Stay

This couldn't be more convenient for catching the bus, which is the ideal way to travel in Bermuda. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The apartment is bigger than you'd expect, with an up-to-date kitchen and bath, a comfortable king-sized bed, a sitting/eating area, and heating/AC. It's in a working class neighborhood, providing a nice perspective on life outside the upscale resorts. There's a very good take-out pizza place and a market nearby, but walking along Bermudian roads without sidewalks or even shoulders is not for the faint of heart. They are 2 bus stops away!

Beautiful views! Bus stops located right across the street. Walkable to a few take out places and the market. Jody was an awesome host. He arranged for transport to and from the airport and also picked up our bus passes for us. Long Bay Beach is bout a 12 minute walk from the apartment. Beautiful, calm water and some days we had the beach to ourselves. Love Bermuda and can’t wait to come back.

We love Somerset Village! Both apartments with balconies, sipping a glass of wine watching the sunset, are upstairs with its own entrances. We reside in downstairs apartment along with our Electric Bicycle shop and READY TO SERVE WITH OUR FIVE STARS SERVICE :) The community is very friendly. Lots to see and do if you enjoy the nature and friendly people!

Easy Access with Bermuda Public Transportation System! Least expensive, reliable, safe and convenient way to explore the Island.

Buses and Ferries for Sandys, Bermuda
Bus routes #7 and #8 connect Hamilton City and Sandys. Bus #8 is more frequent than #7 and takes the Middle Road in Sandys through the urban areas, while bus#7 takes mainly the scenic South Road.

There are several ferry stops in Sandys that serve Hamilton City.
1) At the Dockyard - Few Bus Stops from EXIM Guest Apartment
2) At Watford Bridge - Walking distance from EXIM Guest Apartment
3) At Cavello Bay - Walking distance from EXIm Guest Apartment. This is located in Somerset island and is a lovely place. Buses won't go all the way. To reach the ferry stop, take Somerset Road, then Sound View Road and then Scott's Hill Road and go right up to the end.
4) At Somerset Bridge Wharf.
