Great house

The house was very spacious and accommodated a larger group of adults very comfortably with 6 nice bedrooms and plenty of private bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great Gathering Place for our Reunion

The layout was great! It was a perfect fit for us. We had a reunion of eight long time friends (53 yrs) We are all turning 75 this year and were in college together. We spent 2 1/2 days there. There were two living room areas that enabled us to sit around and visit. The dining room was large enough for us all to eat together. We also ate at the picnic table outside and took pictures around the pool. We took walks in the neighborhood which was a nice friendly place and beautiful old trees. The property owner was great to work with. He was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely be back in the future.

Decent stay

Gave cleanliness a 2/5 solely for the fact that the floors were extremely dirty, they only left 3/4 used rolls of toilet paper in the bathrooms, and 1 garbage bag for 3 nights. When asked for more toiletries the host did not seem very inclined to help. WiFi also did not work throughout the weekend and the pool was very dirty. House was cute and sleeping arrangements worked out well though.

Beautiful House

The house was amazing. There were 5 women on a girls trip. We each had our own bedroom and our own bath. We were looking forward to the pool, but couldnt use it. The seasonal aspect of the pool should be clear in the booking. It was 85 degrees and were coming from MN in April so we booked with a pool intentionally and it was a pretty big let down. There were a few maintenance issues and toilets run constantly, and there are either lights out or missing remotes (we played ping pong in half dark). The kitchen wasnt stocked at all as listed in description. But we had an amazing time, the house is perfect for a group and the location was perfect. If the maintenance issues were verified repaired and the basics actually stocked i would book again if the pool was usable.

Large house great for families, convenient to everywhere!

We booked this house for a large extended family trip. It was perfect for us with plenty of rooms and bathrooms and a nice mix of upstairs and downstairs rooms. Two living spaces downstairs and a game room upstairs gave us plenty of spots to relax and enjoy our time together. The house has a pool which we did not use as it was January but would be great in the summer. Even with notoriously bad Dallas traffic, this house was less than 30 minutes to everywhere we wanted to go.

Great for large group

As a group of 10, the property was perfect. Plenty of beds/bathrooms for all. Loved the 2 separate family rooms as "kids" were in one area and parents could converse in another. House was clean and up to date. Kitchen could use a larger coffee pot (only a one cup Keurig was provided) and more cooking/baking items (measuring cups/bakeware) but had the basics to make a couple of meals. We didn't use the outside/pool area as our schedule didn't allow, but a nice area. Location was perfect for us in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Would stay here again.

Nice home

We enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of space to visit and beds to accommodate the crew. One note, there are three queen beds upstairs and three king beds downstairs. The listing indicated there were for Kim’s and two queens.

Dallas Getaway

This is a great place to stay if you're in the Dallas area. The house has tons of rooms with large beds, each with a bathroom. There are two "living rooms" and a large dining area. There's plenty of room for the extended family. The pool was wonderful, especially in the Texas heat. Family voted that we would definitely stay here again.

Nice but not great

We loved the layout of this house. It’s great for families or groups. It appears to be surface level clean but overall there were a lot of issues. One of the showers smelled like sewage with the water on so we weren’t able to use it. We went to stay in a different room but the bed was broken. The room with the broken bed had a better shower but the toilet wouldn’t flush so we essentially had to sleep in one room and use one room to get ready. Showers had mold/mildew in the grout where toiletries were kept. Hair was found on floor and walls prior to first use meaning it was left over. At first we thought dishwasher was leaking but whenever you steeped in front of the dishwasher, more water would rise from the floor. Bath mats had leaves from trees meaning that they were stepped on with shoes and not washed in between renters. There were no toilet paper holders or towel hooks. Several rooms had windows without coverings so it was difficult to get dressed without worrying about a neighbor seeing you. When we took sheets off the beds before leaving we discovered that one sheet had a big tear and there was a small red spot near the bottom of the broken bed that appeared to be blood. Overall, house had a musky smell to it. Pool and yard had the potential to be really fun but the pool was dirty and had several ducks in it throughout our stay. We did express some concerns through VRBO after we arrived and they quickly sent someone out but issue wasn’t resolved.

Great house for a large group

The house was perfect for hosting our family of 9, all adults. The house was clean and the backyard was beautiful. We loved having so many bathrooms! The beds are a bit hard, which is a personal preference for us, we would have liked them a bit softer. We would definitely stay here again!

Front Row for the 2024 Eclipse

We really enjoyed our stay at the home! Our family came for the 2024 Eclipse and watched the whole thing from the front yard. The home was close to lots of family-friendly attractions including Epic Central, football stadiums, etc. The home is spacious and has lots of room.

Prime location in Grand Prairie

It was my first time to Vrbo. Great place! The Host was very responsive.. We had no issues, very clean, great location, great neighbors (they actually came over and visited). We spent most of our time outside at the Pool. Only one suggestion, a couple of larger trash can's in the garbage. We had 10 adults (that means lots of trash).........

Beautiful home and very well located. Unfortunately a storm took out the internet and Main tv and we stayed Sunday night to watch Super Bowl but we weren’t able to watch it or download our /stats from the tournament.

House was ok. Prepare for hidden fees.

Overall, the house was cool. Lots of bedrooms and space. There was a toilet leaking on the floor and I contacted host right away. We just had to put a few towels down, but not a huge ordeal. The second morning we had a full flood from the upstairs shower that leaked downstairs into the kitchen and all over the half bath. We contacted the host and cleaned the mess for hours to help them avoid any damage. The message exchanges with the host regarding the flooding was ok. We absolutely should have been compensated for the inconvenience and the fact that a shower was not able to be used for a day. The above is one thing, totally out of their control and understandable, but my main warning for this property is that even though the listing clearly states the house is large enough to sleep 12, the "base rate" is for 6 people, so they will charge you for any "additional" guests. This is not in the agreement or the listing, so beware of hidden host fees. Every other VRBO property have stayed with are very transparent in their pricing and there were no hidden fees. Thus my lower than normal rating for this particular property.

Too many concerns to document..all concerns addressed with the property owner via email even after requesting a phone call. Still awaiting 200.00 credit for faulty items ie no hot water in the master bedroom to the right, cold showers...no window coverings for privacy...unused food and drinks items left in the refrigerator for customer's consumption per the binder of instructions...unsafe steps leading from sitting area in the front of the house to the kitchen...nice house needing repairs and updating.
