The Azure Ocean Beach House Welcomes You to a luxurious and relaxing getaway. Enjoy our Oceanfront Beach House Retreat, gateway to the world renowned Broughton Archipelago & nearby Telegraph Cove.' The Heart of Your North Island Adventure!
Our Beach House sleeps five persons at the base rate. A queen bed in the 1st bedroom, a queen bed plus a Day bed in the 2nd bedroom, and a full bathroom are all located on the upper level. The main floor includes a cozy living room with vaulted ceiling, full kitchen & dinning area, all with stunning ocean views. It also includes a bathroom & laundry.
Indulge yourself, relax & unwind. Sit back & appreciate the expansive deck overlooking the Broughton Strait & beyond. The deck includes for your enjoyment, patio table & chairs.
Be Adventurous: Enjoy a peaceful morning beach walk. Encounter eagles, seabirds, & other inter tidal & marine wildlife. Adventure Out: Discover & explore, world renowned Telegraph Cove . Beautiful getaway!

We enjoyed our stay and the amazing view. The kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfy. The Guest Manual was very informative and helpful. helpful as well.

Lovely place

Wonderful view on such a large deck. Very spacious inside. Beds were really comfortable. The place is immaculate.

Quiet location, exceptional view

A well kept spacious home with a dynamic view of Broughton Straight. It is a comfortable place to stay at while exploring the northern island.

Great spot to explore the north island

This place was spacious and seems brand new. The big windows are incredible for sunsets and the beach access was a great touch. Comfortable beds and very well-dtocked kitchen.

A relaxing few days

We found the Azure Blue beach house a very clean and comfortable place to stay. Ray was great at communicating with us and suggesting things to do in the area. We loved the view of the Broughton straits from the window, the bird life and the evening colours of sunset. A very special place to stay.

What a place! The view alone is worth the price of staying here. We saw so much wildlife from the deck - humpback and minke whales, Roosevelt elk, porpoise, sea otters and more. Very nice host and would definitely stay again

Beautiful home

This house was perfect for our family while on Vancouver island. Beautiful view, quiet, clean and full stocked kitchen. Made so many wonderful memories due to having a comfortable “home base”

Beautiful View!

Azure Blue Beach House was just as described. The place was spotless when we arrived and was easy to find. The ocean view was amazing, quiet neighbourhood, and it was a great place to stay while exploring Northern Vancouver Island. Lots of space for our family of 4.

Peaceful Home with a Stunning View

Set on a large piece of ocean front property, this clean and well appointed home is perfect for a peaceful escape from daily life while still offering the easy access to surrounding attractions such as Alert Bay, Port McNeil and Malcolm Island. The views from the comfortable living room and kitchen/dining areas reveal Haddington Island surrounded by an expanse of water to take in.

Feels like home

For the 6th time, we had a wonderful stay. The house, the view, the relaxedness of the area, it feels like our second home. The bald eagles are still there, no new nest after their nest was destroyed last year in a storm. And our greatest thing to do in the area is whale watching, 4 times this year. We hope we will come back again.

Wonderful!!

One of the best houses we have stayed in. Very comfortable and the position is outstanding- saw numerous birds, seals sea lions and a small pod of orca from the decking.

Oh What a View!

Oh my, what a view. The house is so well designed with full windows toward the water. This allowed us to see a whale on several occasions, a few seals, eagles, lots of other birds, and one night the northern lights. The house is in a great location, between Port McNeill and Telegraph Cove for those wanting to take some tours. Oh, did I mention the views?!!!!!

Gorgeous view

We loved our stay here. The pictures don't do the view justice. Every night we spent just looking out at the water watching the eagles fly by. The house was very clean and had all the supplies you would need to self-cater. I would definitely return! Great location for exploring the area. Highly recommend!

Overall great, Hiccups and all.

Overall our stay as great and we would certainly book and stay again which says a lot as our stay was not without issues of which were out of the owners control. The whole North Island was without power. Would suggest that the home be equipped with emergency supplies (flashlights and water to drink and flush with) and an alternate means of cooking like a BBQ with a side burner. Having an alternate source of heat too as it was very cold in the house for the 23 hours without power and there were only two extra blankets and three beds. Only feedback outside of the emergency preparedness is that the kitchen lighting is quite dim for my cooking preference and I would have liked there to have been a non wooden cutting board for meat. Beds were dreamy, the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in outside of my own home. Ray is personable, prompt and great communicator. Thanks

Amazing Experience

We loved our stay at Azure Blue Beach house! The house was comfortable and lots of wildlife to see. Very close to sights such as Telegraph Cove and to Port McNeill, trails, etc. A must visit.

wonderful view, very comfortable!

This house was a wonderful place to spend a week getaway. The view from the large picture windows is filled with sea and sky, a perfect vantage for observing two resident eagles and the local ferry passing. The night sky is dark enough to be filled with stars! The inside of the house was comfortable, well equipped, secure -- we slept well and were nice and cozy warm. So great to have a full kitchen and do our own cooking! My only suggestion would be to use a no-scent laundry soap -- so many people are sensitive these days. There is lots of room in and out, and direct access to the shore. Thanks, Rosalind, for a wonderful, welcoming environment!

Very Nice location and view, but the interior needs renovation, the bedscwere poorly, to soft

Nice location, Nice view, but on friday many noice till four in the night from the neighbours, tv did not work , so advice to renovate the bedrooms, kitchen was not clean.

Comfortable tranquillity!

The Azure Blue Beach House has an outstanding location for spectacular views of the ocean and northern Gulf Islands. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully organized for holiday travellers. We slept comfortably, and enjoyed the views in almost every room of the house. Our UK family were impressed with the wild beauty of northern Vancouver Island, and loved tracking the route of the Quadra Queen II ferry in front of our window. We rode the ferry to Cormorant Island, took a wonderful whale watching tour, and had peaceful mornings watching the mists disperse. The house more than met expectations.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location!

We had a lovely time at the beach house. What a beautiful place! We enjoyed watching the young eagles take their first flights right from the window, as well as lovely sunsets and the changing sea. We saw a lot of wildlife during our stay, including bears and whales. We met many delightful and helpful people along our adventures on North Island and were always happy to come “home” to the lovely beach house. It is very comfortable with many amenities. We hope to return soon!
